I feel more safe with Obama, because McCain is old and if he died, we'd be stuck with Palin who doesn't seem very intelligent. |

She doesn't seem very intelligent because the media has skewed it so. That isn't to say that she wasn't ill-prepared or perhaps misinformed during the interviews pre-election, she definitely was. But as for her intelligence? That has already been determined for you by the likes of MSNBC, the daily show, and SNL. I don't know, I mean, I guess she was at least smart enough to govern a small city and then a state pretty well (according to her approval rating), and held some political power much longer than Barack Obama. Nevertheless, Palin is definitely done in politics. Don't expect to see her run for anything ever, imo. Resigning from office was a stupid move career-wise. I got my eyes on you.

From a third party perspective, I think you'd be safer under Palin's watch than Bush's. :/ |

Lol. Did you pay attention to the election at all? Pretty much every time she spoke something stupid came out her mouth. In Alaska, she cost the state a ton of money as governor with ethics violations (and some people say that's why she quit). She isn't completely ineffective though. She has influence and she knows it. She helped shape the NY23 elections by condemning the Republican candidate and supporting the third party guy.
I really really doubt this. Palin is a horrible person and really needs to stay out of politics. |

Some of the tactics used by Palin are just downright evil. Awhile back she supported a law in Alaska that would have let doctors give patients end of life counseling. The health care bill in the US had something EXACTLY like that. Palin called Obama out on it saying it'd create "death panels". So if Palin wants end of life counseling it's a-okay. If Obama wants it we're gonna get "death panels." |
