I got my eyes on you. Posts: 6,161 Group: Grande Dame Member #1 Joined: Jan 19 2008 Gender Female	I have to admit, this was one of my favourite shows while growing up. Pokemon and Digimon, they got me pumped for school back in the 90's. Who else watched Pokemon? Who else enjoyed it? I personally loved the show. It's really hard to pinpoint why it was such a success and why I loved it so much. I guess I'm going to put it down on the show doing so many things right. I mean, kids like collecting. Kids like adventures. Kids like animals. Kids like friends. Pokemon had it all. What did you think of the show? Though it is a little sad how the most recent seasons have turned out. Sigh

Homer Posts: 1,624 Group: Exlusives Member #103 Joined: Jan 2 2009	I liked the older episodes, but the show is pretty boring nowadays. There's less focus on action and more focus on talking with hundreds of side characters.

In the original season, they managed to score 6 badges, which takes about 3-4 seasons nowadays. Oh, and naturally the side characters get annoying. It doesn't matter who they meet, they always have the same 'welcoming-sure-you-can-barge-into-our-house' kind of personality. I guess the reason why I find Paul to be the only good thing about the new seasons is because he's so unique.
