I SEE YOU!
Spammers are deeply disliked. When you spam, its annoying, pointless, and can get you in trouble after a while.
But now you think, what the moo does SPAM mean?
I dare you to look it up, Its not there.
SPAM stands for:
Super/Stupid
Pointless
Abusive/Annoying
Message
Thats my thought. Spam is an unsolicited bulk message or email.
Spamming on Dashing can lead up to a perma-ban if done enough. Now, how do I know if I'm spamming?
Look at these two random messages:
hey il be on later seorry.
Hey, sorry but I won't be on later
Which is spam? Its the first one. Look at these rules to know if your a spammer or have spammed

  • Short, five word or less message (unless has a lot of quality)
  • Incorrect capitalization and punctuation
  • Numerous words spelled wrong
  • Not needed post
  • Repeated for a second time
  • Double Posting

Now, some posts may have some and may not have some.
Its ok to spam on accident or every once in a while! Just don't do it on purpose, or if you know its spam! There's a spam zone!
Another way you spam is by wanting a high post count. So posting many times needlessly to get more posts, is a very bad thing to do.
It shows you don't care about annoying others or following rules.
If you are doing this and you know it, don't lie to say you didn't do it.
Now, if you want to have a good post, as spam less as you can make it, follow these steps and apply into your posts/threads:
1. Check For words that might be spelled wrong. With words spelled wrong, it an be hard to interpret what you are trying to say.
2. Use correct English. "Aint" is ok. Sometimes you could go Pianta style and go "da" and that. If your not sure on a word, and can't find how the meaning is, just say you don't know how to spell it. You may make common spelling errors: I do all the time, its fine!
3. Put thought into it. "ok" is not saying you mean ok. Five words doesn't always fit. Unless it makes your point strongly. A few lines of quality meaning says its a strong message.
4. Repeating something for a second or third time is not a good post. It shows you just want a high post count. Say something new, and if you can't, don't say anything at all.
5. Posting where is not needed is annoying to others and very spam like. It is not needed and not necessary .

I hope this helps to all those who want to make good posts and are unsure on SPAM.

[*]Short, five word or less message
I disagree with this point. A post can be short and still be a quality post.

Also, SPAM actually stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Message. At least, that's what I learned on another board nearly ten years ago.
