I got my eyes on you.
Yes, the brilliant singer, Michael Jackson, has now died at the age of 50 due to a cardiac arrest. This occurred very close to the beginning of 50 performances he had planned for London.

It's a sad news for the music industry.

I'm still a little shocked and a little sad. I really liked his music. :(

RIP Michael Jackson.

♫ Get yourself an egg and beat it ♪

I went shopping today and every store was playing MJ. It's just crazy.

But he was definitely one of music's greats and will be missed.

*Goes to listen to MJ*

Yea, I don't refer to Michael Jackson as what he had turned into. I refer to him as a music legend.
I almost fell when I heard he had a heart attack; and of course it was about only 15 minutes I found out ebfore he passed.
And to make matter works, Farrah Fawcett had died that morning.

There's a thread for Farrah as well. :P

But yeah, I spent a fair bit of today and yesterday listening to his songs. It's just crazy that he's gone now...

I feel sorry for Farrah Fawcet. Noone seems to care that she's died, just coz someone more famous died on the same day. I turned on Sunrise and it was all "Michael Jackson's" died! And then the ticker at the bottom was the only thing that mentioned Farrah Fawcett.

Also, I have heard very few mentions of 'Wacko Jacko", now he's just a misunderstood loving father, blah blah blah. That obituary song the Chaser did may have offended heaps of people but I think there is a lot of truth in that. How once people die they are suddenly much better people than they were in life.

Sorry if this post sounds a little morbid... Lol. It is really sad that he's have died, and I feel bad for his family. (Although his kids might actually grow up to be normal now...? We can only hope for nuture over nature in this case...) Eek... Sorry, more insensitive talk. Ok. I'm done.

Sorry, I don't even know who Farrah Fawcet is.

The radio station at my job played a full hour of MJ today. I think I've heard Beat It and Thriller like 7 times in the last two days

I went shopping on Friday and every store I went to were playing MJ songs.

Are you talking about the eulogy song Hannah? I didn't know what it was until someone showed me it later that day. I laughed so hard while watching it.

This is pretty bad taste though. There's actually a website for Dead Michael Jackson Jokes now. Waaaaaay too soon.

Farrah Fawcet was in the original Charlies Angels...
MJ was a living joke, Im not surprised death jokes have already started. I can't believe the family are going to display him in a glass case for all to see! Who the hell do they think he is? Sleeping Beauty??!??!

Yeah, I thought the Eulogy song was hilarious too, and pretty true. People just make huge fusses over the things they do sometimes because they are the Chaser.

He was a TV salesman. He was most famous for Oxy Clean, but he sold some cooking products, super putty, and other random stuff too. And he ALWAYS SHOUTS in his commercials, which is why people found him amusing.

Who changed my smiley?

Fanta! Havent you ever heard sales commercials that go "But wait! There more!" or something like that? Billie Mays coined that phrase way back in the late 80s or so. He became a millionaire for all his commercials (getting paid for them).
He was buried in his most famous shirt: the blue one, and it was Oxy Clean symbol on it or nothing. Probably nothing.
:(
Steve McNair was shot to death the other day. >.>
And the Secretary of Defense during the Veit Nam war died at 93. >.>
