So, I've been thinking of organising a WiFi competition for some time now and I think I might actually go ahead with it. Of course, there's no real point unless people get involved. This is an expression of interest thread. Just reply if you think we should/should not have one and whether you'd join in if we did.
The games would probably be Super Smash Bros Brawl (though I don't have a copy of it) and/or Mario Kart Wii. Another potential candidate is Mario Strikers, though I'm not sure how many people would be involved in that. I suppose we could meet up in Animal Crossing as well, though it wouldn't be much of a competition.
..in addition to this, I think it would be neat if the WiFi comp was sort of a round robin with other forums, like Nintendo Addict and such. Each forum wuld have their own team to gain points by their efforts in the games. The winning forum could get a nice little post package, or some sort of goodie from the losing forums. I dunno, I haven't thought it fully thorugh because atm we're just in the "expression of interest" stage.
If people like the round robin idea, then 'll be sure to mention it to Tanshin at NA and possibly a few others like HCFWesker at SSBBDomain and/or Resurgence at Nintendo Rocket.

Well, in the top right-hand corner of the page, near the links to the affiliates and such, there's one that says "Friend Codes". You can find some FC's there. I'm sure you could just PM the relevant member you'd wish to play.

But I dont have mario kart wii. Only wifi games I have are brawl and pokemon platinum.

Well, Pokemon Platinum is for DS and only came out in Australia today, so I find it unlikely that people will have it. I don't have a DS at all, so I wouldn't be able to maintain a DS WiFi comp.
