Let's list all of the constantly-used cliches in a thread, so the newbies* understand them and any references to them. EDIT: Staffies, please just edit my post instead of posting normally to avoid clutter. Members are free to suggest cliches for the list, which should then be added to it as soon as possible. (*It could happen...) "...And then the world exploded." - A very common one, used mostly by me. "and has helped the world explode more times than one could count" -Fanta's NES essay, referring to DS. This is usually used to end a plotline and start anew, although the old plot is sometimes ressurected, regardless of the mass-death caused by the prior explosion of earth. Shoe tennis references, woke up in (now soiled) bed, ...and the world went back to the car chase scene... Easy Off Bam (Y'KNW?), ORLY OWL (orly? yrly!), spongegoat (chomp), Fanta Co. No Ice and Mountain Dew Inc With Ice, Gamer crying (and the 'don't steal my line!' chronicles)...... Ok I think thats all I can think off. I'm also a big fan of a slight variation on the above stated one '...and the world imploded' Lol. |
