Mental Block

I feel like I need to write something, but not sure what.

Baaah, I hope to film later, seeing as my sister doesn't start work for a few hours.

I need to do start today's 3-6 hours of homework. I actually managed to do 3 hours yesterday without too much trouble.

Uuuum, I'm a bit bored, but don't have the motivation to do anyting.

I'm watching the OC, because my sister put on the DVDs before she took the computer and I can't be stuffed turning it off. My favourite episode is on, the episode where they find out that Luke's father is having a gay affair.

So, here are the holidays.

A Scared Rachy

I bet you were missing my words. No, I'm not dead, but I'm not far from it. VCE is killing me. >.<

Anyway, I was just looking at my old Livejournal, particularly my tagged entries. I was reading over the entry I made about Yr10 and my school years beforehand. I smiled at some of the stuff that happened, some of which I had forgotten. It was great to look back on it and clearly see that I've grown up, even within just two years. Perhaps when I have the time and inspiration (I have the inspiration now, but not the time) I will write a sequel to that entry, describing my entire high school adventure.

So, life's pretty hectic at the moment. I'm somewhat pissed off at things... Particularly Media, as I'm nearly convinced that I'm going to fail my final product, or at least make one with a terrible standard (its due in at the end of this week, which is he last day of the term.) I really can't see myself getting out of this problem. It isn't totally my fault, but there are definitely problems that were my fault involved. I may need to ask for an extension, but I highly doubt I will get one, even if I explain everything, considering I've had the entire term (which is about 10 weeks) to do it. >.<

The product was intended to be a music video, with a stylistic feature that included miming of all the instruments, like air guitars. I thought it was a pretty innovative idea, as it still has yet to become cliche'. I really wanted to do an original song and I did all the planning and writing of the lyrics (I haven't put them up in my lyrics thread because I never got around to posting them), but a lot of it was done in the night before it was due. The planning was one of the SATs (school assessed tasks) I had to do last term. Despite the lack of time it was made in, it seemed to work fine and had everything it needed in it. The other SAT for that term was a technical production, which wasn't so successful. I was working for ages to think of something to film (which only needed to be about half a minute.) I also needed to take time to get used to the equipment (well, the camera at least. I've still yet to understand the tripods.) After hearing about the bad standard my Technical Production SAC was, I knew I had to improve heaps for my Final Product. I was psyched to do it, but things happen.

The main thing holding me back was the difficulty to record. Despite me knowing some people in the Music Tech class, I was still a bit shy to ask to record. Not only that, I needed accompaniment (especially because I had planned a lot of guitar in my SAT) and it was really hard to get my band together to create something. My guitarist and I managed to come up with a cool song one lesson, but never managed to get the pianist to learn it. Not only that, my teacher had tried for weeks to get my band a singer, but she never got back to him (which didn't just screw up Media, but Music as well.)

I didn't want to film until the song was recorded, but here I am, 9 weeks down the track and still no recording. I tried to film last week (without a recording), but the two people who had personally asked me to be in Media product said, "No." I'm pretty sure I'm going to ditch one of them (haven't decided which) and use my sister instead, because I know she'll do it, no matter what she has planned. Seeing as I don't have a recording, I have to use a different song. I'm 90% sure I'll use Dandy Warhols' "We Used To Be Friends" (the Veronica Mars theme song) instead, but because of copyright issues, I will only be allowed to use it from school and not be able to upload to YouTube or something like that.

I also couldn't book the camera for this weekend. The soonest I could get was Monday/Tuesday. I'm hoping that somehow I will actually be able to film with somebody else besides my sister (because I NEED two people). I wasn't able to ask anyone over the weekend because (of course) nobody decided to come on MSN, Myspace or Facebook, so that lowers my chance of getting somebody to film to even less. There's also one particular scene with 5 people, which I may have to ditch, unless by some miracle I can actually get five people in two days.

Oh, not to mention that I also have to finish editting by Friday as well.

Yeah, I'm screwed, aren't I? I feel really scared... I haven't even told anyone. Only my Media teacher seems to know how little I've done and the seriousness, but I'm pretty sure he thinks that I'm the type of person who can work my arse off and still pull it off. Yes, I see myself as being the type of person with those qualities, but I'm still shit scared and diappointed that I'm not going to be able to do the product that I had intended.

I guess on both a lighter and darker note, my band had our first live performance on Thursday. The performance went well, but not fantastic. Nothing particularly bad happened, but nothing spectacular happened (unlike the band after us who I heard were fantastic. I geuss we were just the "warm-up" band.) I have my VET Music Night Tuesday evening and I'm looking forward to it, because I love performing. However, I know my band aren't quite as enthusiastic about performing as me, as they were really nervious on Thursday. I'm hoping that the success (or not so much 'success', but rather 'lack of failure') of our performance will have knocked a lot of the nerves out of them, but I guess I can't determine that yet. I should probably ask them tomorrow. I still don't know what I'm going to wear, but I'm thinking of wearing my Guitar Hero shirt. xD I know how I want my hair though.

I'll try hooking you guys up with pics after the night.

So anyway, wish me luck for Media and Music. I hope you enjoyed my first blog in about 2 months.

Rachel Bean

Haha, today was so funny. We decided we would clean out the backyard for the weekend barbeque. At the beginning of the day I was racking the leaves, but Mum made me the pooper-scooper because she wanted to rack.

Anyway, I ended up going inside for lunch, but I didn't really have a lunch, more of a sweet-treat. :) There were some Coles pancakes on the table so I cooked one for myself and one for Jess. Jess also had noodles with the pancake (lulwut?) I had ice cream with mine. Sure it's fattening, but whatever. :P I went to get a glass of water from the container to wash down my lunch when I noticed some fog on it. I started to swoosh around the water in the container to get rid of it when the top of the container came off. Water flew all over the table. (HAHA!)

Anyway, went back to picking up dog crap. After hours of scooping this poop we started working on getting rid of the pool. (BYE-BYE POOL!) We had to empty the very last remains of water that was in it, so Mum asked me to bring the bucket over to empty it. I dropped the rack and shovel on the ground and grabbed the bucket. On the way back to the pool I epically tripped on the rack and as I was falling I threw the bucket and it landed in the very centre of the pool (I missed the points of the rack by just a smidge, luckily.) I pissed myself laughing and I saw my Mum shake her head in disappointment (while also trying to hold back her laughter.)

I grabbed the rack on held down the side of the pool (so water would flow out) and Mum used the bucket to empty it from the other side. We eventually decided to swap around so that I had the bucket and she had the rack. If the trip wasn't enough, I actually ended up cracking the plastic bucket while trying to get water out. I couldn't believe it. What else could I do? Haha.

Turns out that was the end of my clumsiness (but by this time Mum was calling me Rachel Bean, referring to Mr Bean.) Anyway, Dad asked for something flat to hold down the pool, so Jessica suggested a brick. She went to go get it. As she was coming back, Dad asked her to pass it, so she threw it on the ground towards him. She totally forgot that the water had been flowing out of the pool and landing where the brick was going to land. The brick hit the ground and the water busted from underneath, full on splashing my Dad. Mum and I laughed so hard.

Ahhh, good times.

Birthday Whispers

I awoke to the piercing ringing noise of my phone alarm. I knew I had to get up, but couldn't pull myself to it. After half an hour of piercing rings I managed to see out of my blurry half-asleep eyes. My door was slightly open and Hayden stood outside it, wiping his hands on a towel. I tried to speak, but only a whisper came out.

"Happy Birthday."

I pulled myself out of bed and started to get ready for school. Between the whisper and actually getting up, it would have only been within five minutes. Nevertheless, Hayden was gone by the time I was up. Jessica said he had gone to the gym. I can't say I understand his logic. To me, birthdays are one of the few days when you can get away with making a pig out of yourself. But alas, it was his birthday and it was his choice.

Jessica and I started getting ready for school. Although we both awoke around about the same time as we usually do (maybe even slightly earlier,) we managed to arrive at school much later than usual. I did not even have time to go to the VCE Centre for a chat. Nope... it was straight to Methods (though somehow I was the only the second person there.)

Alina arrived later than most of the class today. I decided to blatantly blurt out "Happy Birthday," which lead to about 3 or so other people in the class following. Alina brought a giant present into class because it could not fit in her locker. The class was cheering for her to open it, but she refused... for the moment.

As for Methods, we continued to work on Inverses. For those who don't exactly know what that is.. basically an Inverse occurs when you switch the x and y values.

Example:
y=2x+3

Inverse:
x=2y+3
2y=x-3
y=(x-3)/2

Simple concept, though it wouldn't be Yr12 Maths Methods without some sort of complication. We learnt of some Inverse jargon, such as 'one-to-one' functions and 'many-to-one' functions. Nevertheless, the lesson wasn't too bad. I enjoyed this chapter because it was short and somewhat simpler than some of the other stuff we've had to do.

Maths was followed by recess. I made my way to the VCE Centre where Cassie was frantically studying for an English SAC. Soon the other whites appeared, then disappeared as they went to get Alina's birthday present (and to find Alina.) While they were gone, Alina and Elaine came to the VCE Centre, (lol) but they eventually returned to find them.

I must say, Alina got quite a nice haul. (I still haven't been able to get her anything... nor Hayden for that matter...) Elaine gave her a really sweet photo frame thing which really stood out above the other pressies. (The Garfield pic was on it.) xD

As recess drew to a close I helped Alina, Elaine and Vera throw away the newspaper. I then went and grabbed some homework to do in my free period. My homework involved more Methods. I finished off chapter 5 and started the chapter 4 homework test. As for the test, I was fine during the multiple choice, but screwed during the short answer section was death. I should probably finish the chapter before I try and attempt them again...

Though I was having a good time listening to The Fox while I did my homework. ^_^

Lunchtime came after free period. Tina left because she had both a free period and was feeling ill. The rest of us all sat together, but as Lisa said, we looked 'bummed out.' No particular reason why... I guess there was nothing to interest us.

Alannah finished her noodle lunch and we headed over to the music room for a rehearsal. Cassie still refuses to 'Elmo's World' (even though it was her idea.) We played what we could of Elmo's World, rehearsed 'Hit That,' and pretty soon lunch was over.

Cassie crashed my VET Music class once more. Lowes told us to rehearse in the classroom while some other bands used the band room. However, we had to wait for him to stop talking to the Tech Production class before we could do anything. So Cass and I just sat... and sat... occasionally spinning drumsticks in our fingers... and sat... and sat...

Finally he finished lecturing and we began playing some stuff. We decided to try and learn the Good Charlotte cover we'd been planning to do. With that, I grabbed my MP4 player and let Cass do her 'learn-by-ear' thing to 'Boys and Girls.'

As we were trying to get it all together, Elaine and Alannah decided to crash our class. Elaine took the Drum Kit and played with Cass. Alannah and I then started screaming /Girls don't like boys, girls like cars and money. Boys with laugh at girls when they're not funny./ A few people walked into our class and saw us being morons. :P I must say, I got somewhat jealous with Elaine's drumming because her skills totally wiped the floor with me... (*shakes fist.*) Alannah even said, "Stuff you Rach, you're [Elaine] our new drummer."

Elaine and Alannah soon left, so Cass and I got back to work. We ended up getting the chorus and first few verses to sound alright, though we still have a long way to go with the song. However, at least we have something else to play than just 'Hit That.'

Home time soon came around, but before I left I went to the Office to pay for the Tertiary Information excursion. I then headed to the car. John was telling me to hurry up and put my running shoes on... Hayden was saying that 22 was a boring age and that next year he's turning 21.

Got home and Grandma was there. She came over for lunch apparently. We sang happy birthday to Hayden and dined in some birthday cake (Dad wasn't here though...) :( Hayden and I then headed off to Knox to pick up Hayden's b-day gift, which was Wii Fit.

I'm too lazy to describe what happened at Knox, so enjoy bullet points:
- Went to Toys R Us to pick up Wii Fit
- Went to Jay Jays and some other clothes and looked at... well... clothes
- Checked out What's New
- Browsed in EB Games
- Went home
Though as we were heading back to the car, we passed some teens at KFC. One of them pointed out the Wii Fit box and said she wanted the game BAD! Pretty funny.

Came home and Grandma was gone. I had some pie and took the computer... Since then, just been foruming, MySpacing, Facebooking, MSNing, blogging *gasp*... and watched Friday Night Live. :)

I wish I was at Alina's. Not being there is not lovely.
~Rach

PS: I'd like to wish a big Happy Birthday to Hayden, Alina and Rebecca from Big Brother, who tonight managed to win Friday Night Live.

Uni Student Knock Knock Jokes

Well, today was a free dress day... of sorts... It had the twist of 'dressing what you want to be when you grow up,' but few people went along with it. I, along with many people, dressed in general casual-wear.

So today was band day. I set my alarm to 6:30. I heard it and awoke, but I didn't manage to pull myself out of bed until ten past 7.. D: My hair was so flat, but I couldn't take a shower because I had to leave... DAMN!

Anyway, I made it to band and did heaps. Played 4 songs:
-'Instant Conect'
-'Concert Variations'
-'Lord of the Dance'
-'The Devil Went Down To Georgia'

It was pretty fun, despite the early bird rise (and the fact that Elaine didn't show up *shakes fist*.) :P

Anyway, after band I made my way to the VCE Centre to meet up with the gang. Tina, Cassie and Alannah were having their own conversation, so Hannah and I decided to kill some time by saying shitty puns/jokes to each other.

Rachel: "What has four wheels and flies?"
Hannah: "...dunno, what?"
Rachel: "A garbage truck."
Hannah: "Huh?.... oh, hahahahaha! Okay, what did the sheep say to the other sheep?"
Rachel: "Dunno."
Hannah: "Baa!"
Rachel: "Haha, okay. Why'd the boy throw a clock out the window?"
Hannah: "So he could see time fly."

The conversation went along like this, until Hannah developed the mother of all 'knock-knock' jokes!

Hannah: "Knock knock."
Rachel: "Who's there?"
Hannah: "Oh... I hadn't thought that far ahead."

The funniest part was that it was so true. xD I was randomly pissing myself laughing throughout the day just by thinking of it. Easily the funniest knock knock joke I've ever heard.

Anyway, first two periods were Vis Com. The student teacher showed us a slide show of some funky graphic works that we had to analyze as a class. There were some cool ones, along with some cruddy ones.

Pros:
-Guy with binoculars and an echidna
-Gripping octopus with tyre tentacles
-Woman with an anxiety attack about a deadline

Cons:
-Persian rugs -_-

We also sat away from db... he looked quite lonely... but we didn't want to sit next to the air vent because it was too cold.

Recess came next. We sat down and talked about random stuff. Lisa came over and took some photos of us. Hannah and I took a stupid gangsta photo... we put our hoods over our eyes. (Lol, we're such retards.)

Periods 3 and 4 were Media. My teacher suggested I start my Production exercise. I agreed. :) I'm thinking of doing a miming thing and have it synchronize with some music. (My music player suggested that I do it to that 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go' song.)

Next was lunch. The sausage sizzle line was demonic.

Period five was free. Worked on some Media stuff.

Period 6 was Maths. Got my SAC result (31/40.) I started chapter 4.

So yeah, that's it. The end was rushed.... :S
But enjoy nevertheless...

Week for the Weaks

So what the hell has this week got to show for anything? What a load of crap its turned it out to be!

Firstly, it has easily been the LONGEST week of my entire life, both in physical and metaphoric terms. Physical, because I've spent hours upon hours straining myself after midnight, and metaphoric because I've been feeling so bad that everything just seems to be twice as long.

Holiday homework has been killing me. I was hoping I'd get the very last bit (my Maths) stuff finished today, but of course no. I have the test later on in the week, so I need to get it done, but alas I probably won't.

What really killed me was Visual Communications. For days I would spend up to about 2-3am trying to finish the shit off. The entire time I just held onto my small glimmer of hope, stating that I would eventually finish and be surrounded by the pleasure of self satisfaction.

Unfortunately, even through so much pain and suffering I still did not finish and merely handing in scraps to show I had actually tried. I TRIED, and yet the teacher will still be blind to it. I have parent teacher interviews in a few days and I'm going to bombarded with this shit... I tried... and failed. The worst part is, I knew I could succeed.

Now I've screwed up my eventual end result for the year because of one slip up. FUCKING PATHETIC!

My methods result for my last test (exponentials and logarithms) wasn't fantastic, but it was wasn't bad. It was 79%... which apparently was much higher than a lot of other people. Still, I felt I could have done better.

VET Music was cruddy. Alannah, totally forgetting the 'Monday rehearsal' period and forgot her guitar. >_> At least Cassie still stuck around. She even came on Friday as well, which was good... but still sucked because the rehearsal hardly has any rehearsing and just jamming crap.

Oh, and the tip of the freaking iceberg...

Wait for it...

Girl me up, baby

NOTE: I wrote this on paper last night so I would remember more. Thus it is written in the context of yesterday, so whether I refer to "today" I actually mean "yesterday." ;) There are also three main sections and they've been coloured different.

What a day! All girls have to experience the "girly stuff" sometime, though I think mine was long overdue.

Anyway, so I began the day as I would any other Saturday... I got up early to watch Hannah Montana. I'm going to describe the episode, because I found it to play simultaneously with my actual day.

The beginning dialogue of today's episode began with Miley saying, "I can't believe him and Justin Timberlake are from the same species." She was referring to one of her male classmates that decided to be playing games with pasta. Lilly (Miley's best friend) was being her usual self, which meant she was "one of the guys." and joining with the pasta-throwing game.

There was a dance coming up that weekend, and Miley was bugging Lilly about not having a date. Lilly replied with the fact that Miley didn't have one either, but Miley defended herself by saying that she had a Hannah Montana concert. Just then, Matt (the guy Lilly had been crushing over (coincidence much?)) asked Lilly to the dance. Lilly accepted (obviously.)

Later on Miley and Lilly were at the beach. Lilly was watching "Teen Court" (a teenage version of "Judge Judy") when Miley was insisting she take Lilly shopping for some new girly clothes (because Lilly was such a "skater-chick.") Lilly refused at first until she saw Amber and Ashlee (the "plastics" of the school) flirting with Matt.

Lilly: "Girl me up, baby."

The next day, Lilly nervously entered the classroom in a brand new "barbie" outfit and some sunnies. The boys were instantly gushing over her. She soon found Matt and (with Miley's influence) started to "tease-flirt" with him in a deep-sexy voice.

Lilly: "Save it for the dance."

At the Hannah Montana concert, Hannah (Miley) dedicated her song to Lilly, who she was certan was having an awesome time at the dance. However, when she home she found Lilly on the doorstep. Miley asked her about the dance and Lilly replied that she had been stood up.

The next morning, Miley was so angry at Matt for standing up her best friend. She was juicing her orange, one angry squeeze at a time. "How can boys do that? Don't they know how fragile girls are?" Miley exclaimed as she squeeshed the orange so hard that it popped. Robbie-Ray (Miley's dad) mentioned his pity for the orange and ended with relation to Miley, "Sugar, spice and hands like a vice."

Lilly (who had stayed the night) soon awoke and made her way to the kitchen in her depressed state. Robbie Ray kept making things worse.

RR: "It'll be okay, Lilly."
Lilly: *sobs* "Lilly.... that's what Matt used to call me."

RR: "Okay, I'm leaving. I just have to get a place-"mat.""
Lilly: *sobs* "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaatt!"

Miley and Lilly then agreed to get him back, though they weren't sure how. Suddenly, an ad for "Teen Court" came on the television. Naturally, the two girls took Matt to court.

Miley was Lilly's lawyer and Matt was the defendant. Matt had little chance of winning because the judge had a daughter of his own. However, Matt still pleaded his case. He said that he changed his mind because Lilly "changed." He asked out the cool skater-chick that he had a crush on, but he ended up getting a typical "barbie" that says, "Save it for the dance."

Lilly and Matt then both agreed to tell each other that they both crushed over the other. Lilly then pointed the finger at Miley for changing her. Miley ended up being charged and had a lotza spaghetti tipped onto her.

I suppose the moral of the story is... Don't change.

Once Hannah Montana finished I went back to bed. I was so tired and I knew I had stuff to do later on. I couldn't get back to sleep so I laid there and started thinking about stuff. I got bored and got out of bed and laid on the couch. It was easier to doze off on the couch, but Mum wouldn't let me. She ordered me to get dressed so we could go shopping after she dropped Jessica off. I went back to my room and got changed. When I came out, Hayden and Jess were leaving. I was a little confused, but whatever.

Mum downloaded a cool Led Zeppelin song that I'd never heard before. It was called "Livin', Lovin', It's Just A Woman." It was a great song (I want to learn it.) She put it on repeat and we were singing and dancing to it until Hayden got home. Mum and I then left.

Mum drove us to the Op Shop first (*rolls eyes,* naturally, lol.) Mum made me try heaps of stuff, though nothing seemed to fit. :( I looked over at the shoes and a pair of heeled silver sandals (they're probably not sandals, but you get the idea) caught my eye. I KNEW I wanted those shoes. I tried a few others, but I was in love with the silvers, so I grabbed them.

When we got to the counter, Mum saw a dress on the clearance rack that appeared to be my size. I cbf going back to the change rooms, so we gambled and bought it. :P We also bought the cool shoes and a white cardigan-ish thing.

We then headed to Mountain Gate to check out some $2 Shops for some bodgy jewelery and headbands. We went to Discount Kingdom, and even though they had some, they weren't that great (and quite expensive for a $2 Shop.)

We went to the Clearance Centre afterward, who had better stuff for more appropriate $2 Shop prices. I grabbed a headband and (not for the party) a cool Bratz rocker jeans chain (it had a guitar. :) )

Afterward we went to Safeway to grab some stockings. I saw a mate of mine from primary school who worked there, but we didn't go in his queue so we didn't get to chat (which isn't too bad because I wouldn't want him seeing the stockings xD.)

Got home and tried on the dress. Woahz, it fitted! :o I tried it with the cardigan thing, though it looked cruddy. I tried it with a black jacket, and the combo looked pretty neat ;).

I then went on the computer. I told DS to make new ranks, so he did. :D He then left and Ben came on. :P Ben rounded up all the dashingites taht were online (except Whacka, who I invited xP) and had a random chat that was hardly at all Dashing related. The conversation included stuff like Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, Wifi, dirty Harvest Moon, dirty numbers (Grekki wants to 754,) how unspecial K (and Grekki K) are and Hannah Montana. Ben and I agreed to battle each other at Super Mario Strikers, but I still need to work out the Internet Settings before any of that can be done.

I then started to get ready for the party. I took a shower, dried my hair and chucked on some make up. I had the foundation and powder on, but both Mum and I agreed that it wasn't really 'me,' so I cleaned it off and chucked on some lipstick, eye shadow and mascara.

I went to put on my outfit. It was fine, except that the shockings didn't fit so Mum had to go buy some others while I chucked on some earrings and some other stuff. I was EVENTUALLY finished and left for the party. (I felt so awkward.)

When I arrived Alannah came up to me and said I looked sexy in a dress (while adding that we should go to Tina's bedroom.) First thing I did was sign Tina's card.

The party was kicked off with lotza group photos. Tina, Hannah, Cassie, Alannah, Elaine, Alina, Casey, Chloe, Kirsty, Vera-Lisa, Michael and I were all there (no Kech and Lisa though :o.) I was taking full advantage of the extra height I got with my silvers. :) I got to be taller than Tina for a few hours and I could also reach the balloons. ^_^

(This is the part where Mum comes into my room to turn the light off. Grrr, delay my thoughts will you!! *shakes fist as I turn light back on.* The clock says 1:25am.)

The party was were music-y. There was lots of random karaoke singing to pop songs and second rate dancing. Pretty crazy. B) There was a good Nutbush comp going on, but the stupid audience ordered the song be turned off so it didn't finish. There was also lots of Macarena. However, they all decided to go anti-clockwise when you're supposed to go clockwise *shakes fist.*

Tina didn't really celebrate "Earth Day." :P

Hannah struck me with her "Falcon Punch." ("Falcon," as in talon-like fingernails and "Punch" as in punch.) She gave me a cut in my right ring finger. It started bleeding so Tina had to get me a bandaid.

Tina also showed us her snazzy car. B)

Soon our pizza dinner arrived. A couple of us (Alina, Hannah, Alannah, Vera-Lisa, Cass and I) sat at the table. Hannah insisted we eat formally with our pinky in the air. She bagged my little finger. :(

Hannah then started to go a bit nuts with the party poppers. She pissed a couple of people off with them. She said that she makes them bang more then anyone. I went along with the 'bang' thing and started a nice dirty joke. Alannah then proceeded to stick some party poppers in Hannah's hair, messing it up. I suggested that Hannah's hair must have gotten messed from all the banging. Hannah was getting very awkward, and in her defence she said, "I like bangs and noises." Not a good idea thing to say Hannah. xD

Casey then came over asked what we were pissing ourselves over, so Alannah explained the situation, saying "Hannah said "I like bangs" from her own mouth." I then emphasized the "From her own mouth" thing, but I think only Cassie heard.

Tina put on her Avril Lavigne CD. During 'Girlfriend' we were jokingly making flirty gestures to each other. When 'Hot' came on our gestures went into a new level of flirty. Alannah got a little annoyed, saying "Why is it when I do that, people think I'm a lesbian?" Tina then proceeded to grab Alannah, and Alannah stuck her leg on her. *Ahem* Get a room next time. :P

(Stupid Hannah got Outkast stuck in my head.)

Something happened and Kirsty was pinned to the ground by Alannah and (I think) Casey. Chloe kicked her in the butt. :P

Elaine and some others stole some of the junk food. Luckily they didn't steal the salt and vinegar chips. ^_^

Tina's birthday cake had singing candles. :D It took us a while to get in time with it. Her Dad had a helium voice. :P When the song was done, Tina killed the candle by cutting it with her giant knife. We played with sparklers for a while. Kirsty waited until everyone else's was done so she could feel special (unlike K.)

Tina proceeded to cut the cake. She described it a being like play doh. Kirsty suggested putting the knife in cold water, which made cutting so much easier. :P I had the first slice because nobody else would take it. -_- I tried to break it into pieces, but it was so hard! The first piece I did break off ended up falling on the floor, but I think only Cassie noticed.

I feel down Tina's tiny stairs. I thought only Alannah noticed, but apparently Tina did too. :P Strangest part was, I wasn't even wearing my shoes at the time. :P

Soon Mum came and picked me up. I said my goodbyes, gave out a few hugs (Tina got two because the first one wasn't hug worthy.)

(I'm certain I've forgotten stuff, but oh well.)

Once I got home I showed Dad my outfit because he hadn't seen it. I then headed to bed. I've been writing since.
Beginning: Midnight
Finish: 2:26am

Hope you enjoyed this entry. It's either my second largest or largest ever (my previous largest is one of my Livejournal entries describing my first few years at high school.)
Seeya round, lovers ^_^

High

Yeah, I'm on a sugar high at th moment, so don't be surprised if my entry is a little... "not-flowy."

So today was probably the first easter where I didn't wake up at 6 am... lol. In fact, I woke up and constantly went back to sleep because I cbf getting out of bed.

I eventually "did" get out of bed and it was only 10 to 10 (thought it was way later.) Soon everybody started rocking up.

So everybody handed out their chocies (technically I didn't but nobody seemed to notice) and we began to munch on out stuff. I had eaten ALL of my mini caramel-filled dairy milk eggs before we left for Linda and Geoff's.

On the way we stopped at Mountain Gate because my Mum wanted to get a drink. Damn Coles was closed...
Lol, we were just about to get onto Dorset Road when Mum realized she had left Grandma's chocolate in the fridge, so we had to go all the way home. Hayden grabbed the chocolate (and a drink) and we left.
We "just" made it out of the driveway when mum asked Jessica if she had put her work uniform in the drier. She said no, so we made our way back to the house once more. xD

After those mishaps we left for Linda/Geoff's. We eventually got there and found we were the last to arrive (though Taylor and Sherley weren't going to come.) We waited patiently for lunch to cook, chatting randomly in the process. Hayden mentioned a cruise... WHICH WOULD BE SO AWESOME TO GO ON!!!!

Anyway, lunch was ready so we all lined up to grab some (I was pushed the back... LAME!) We went outside to sit at the table, but there were wasps everywhere so we had to eat inside instead. Mum brought up Tina's "formal" 18th birthday party and suggested I get Sarah to show me how to put on make up. -> :ermm: <- What I kinda felt. After huge pressure I actually asked her and she seemed a little confused, but agreed anyway.

(DS wants me to mention the NES, so here it is.)

We went into the kitchen and started talking some more. I didn't pay much attention and just listened to my MP4 player. Grandma started to make a sponge with strawberries (yum,) but just when she was about to dish it out Sarah goes, "BATHROOM, BATHROOM!"

Jess and I followed her to the bathroom. It was time for my first ever make-up experience. IT WAS SO FREAKING FUNNY!
Lol, if I remember correctly, I have to do it in this order:
-Foundation
-Powder
-Blush
-Mascara
-Eye Shadow
-"Possibly" Lip Gloss
Talk about AWKWARD. xD I had NO IDEA what was going on, and Sarah kept trying to make me do it myself... Jess was our guinea pig who we tried different eye shadow on. She now has one eye purple and the other green (LMFAO!)
I kept messing up the mascara and having to clean it up. xD Jess then started to put it on and soon had messed-up mascara blotches all around her eye.
You really had to be there to understand the INSANITY of it all. SO FUNNY!
Rachel: "What is the point of all this?!?!"

Anyway, I soon walked out of the bathroom and had everybody looking at me... *Ahhhh* I sat down and another conversation began around me. Linda started the "chocolate giveaway" thing and soon my chocolate collection grew to include an extra two bunnies and a rocky road.

Jess soon started eating her rocky road and started describing it.
Jess: "It tastes a little like... Snickers..."
Nobody really had anything to respond with, so I randomly said, "Snickers rhymes with "nickers.""
There were random giggles and Hayden goes, "Take that stuff off their face, its getting into their brain!"

Soon everyone went outside and started talking about the "Underbelly" show (the one that's banned in Melbourne because of the court case) and Tony Mockbelle.

We had to leave because Hayden and Jess needed to go to work, so we said our goodbyes and left xP.

Anyway, got home, ate everything of one bunny except the feet (I only wanted to nibble his ears,) played some music on the comp, went on the net, helped mum with Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and simply killed some time.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TINA! Everybody, have a great school holidays too ^_^.
Lovely...
