Dedicated Posts: 72 Group: Members Member #19 Joined: Dec 25, 2008	Expecting something to come from the closer of the two opponents, yet not having the stamina at the time to really do anything about it, the moment he felt the light increase the swordsman raised his sword over his eyes so that any light that would have reached him would be reflected, yet he had no way to direct the light to the fire wielding woman across the way. He was still in a crouch, not wanting to test the strength in his legs, and not really seeing the need to move, there was only one thing he could think to do. Half blinded as it was, he managed to use his remaining energy to move himself-- that was when the second attack came, and when it did there was nothing he could do about it. He was trapped in the barrier of light that encased him. His last plan would now go into effect. As he looked back he knew where he had faltered. It would be wrong to call it confidence, he had been out manned from the start and he knew it all to well. Victory would not come by his hands, but only if his opponents could destroy each other. In any case, the clever light tricks against the fearsome assault of the flames... both would be good to contest each other. Yet there was one technique, the master technique of playing possum. It was acute form of seppuku, except it was an illusion of the idea. Before the final attack from the winged man came, the once, one-eyed swordsman raised his sword, and pierced it through his body--in a location where the blade missed all of his internal organs, yet this would only last for so long in till he bled to death. In any case the attack of the winged man hit where his chest would have been, however he fell to the ground before that instance. It wasn't impossible to believe that he would end his life, the only unfair movement he made failed horribly, yet as he laid down, his hands still holding onto the blade of his weapon, he was still breathing. It hurt, indeed, his face was in the dirt to hide his expression, and if anyone got close enough to find that he was still alive, hopefully, they would be finished by their opponent. [If that isn't believable, well... I didn't make it up, I got it from the movie hero... he can die if you think it is unfair... either way, I am busy in till Thursday, and this seemed like the best move to make right now...]
