He kept low to the ground, and he could see the attacks coming. She was relentless, but it would not grant her victory. He had enough distance to gain ground now. Using his speed over her as an advantage, he propelled himself backwards, still holding onto his sword he could see that something else was coming--the winged man had moved, indeed things were getting sticky and fas. Yet he would not forget his speed, and as he dodged the fire attack he was on his feet and was running, he knew he could outrun both of his opponents. He was light weight, and good with his feet. Turning his back on the flames could have been a mistake, yet if he was hit by the flames, he would simply discard whatever it was that was burning. He ran towards the center of the arena, away from the corn, and he turned to face where his opponent might be coming from. If he was correct, then both of his opponents would be in front of him. He took whatever time he had gained to look around for any tricks that the winged man might have left. There was no room for mistakes.... "So that is what our friend has been doing this entire time...it is quite unfortunate that I couldn't have wounded that fire devil....yet that was from my own foolishness...." he slowly raised his hand up to his face and removed the eye patch. His vision was evening out, now he would fight his very best, for he knew that his opponents would not falter by mere swordplay. His entire focus of skills rested on his pure dedication to his sword. |
