The one-eyed thought, knowing that he had made a mistake the moment that winged man had caused the flare, he should have left himself open...instead he betrayed his original plan. He retracted his hand, and slid backwards pulling himself into the corn field, and out of sight from the attack of fire. The corn was quickly catching around him, but he was certain of one thing: His speed would be far greater. In the blazing inferno of the flaming corn field, the one-eye had no other option than to discard his robe. He cut the sash first, and then with a few more slashes of his blade he managed to discard the entire garment all together, leaving only his under garments left. He assumed that someone who used fire would know their limits well. He then circled back into the arena, absent of his garb, yet a safe distance from the woman. He was down on one knee, and his sword was in his right hand. He was coughing from all the smoke he had inhaled and he watched carefully... keeping the other winged man in the back of his mind as well. Mistakes were fatal...
