It looked like a perfect moment, no one was paying attention to him. Unless he made the impression he was about to finish both of the two off, he would be able to charge without getting noticed. It was even less likely that they would go after him because looking away could mean death. It was probably safe to charge the normal way. But just to be safe, he launched an elongated orb into the sky. It was clearly another flare, and it would be broken should anyone charge him.
