Show Title: At End of Day
Character/Actor: Peter Richards (portrayed by James Scott)

Scene: (Peter taunts Sara about a man from her past)

It’s a new day in Glenview, particularly hot for late summer in the Midwest. Peter walks out onto the back patio of the Richards mansion in only his swimming suit to find Sara already occupied in the hot tub, laying her head back with sunglasses on and iPod plugged into her ears. Peter comes up behind her, takes one of the earpieces out of his sister’s ear and says charmingly, “Is this a private party, or do you mind if I join in?” With a slight tone of annoyance in her voice, Sara replies, “You might as well, now that, thanks to you, I’m no longer relaxed.” Ignoring Sara’s obvious disdain, Peter hops in and sits at the other end, directly facing Sara. After a moment of silence, Peter speaks up again, “So, before I left to come home, I spoke to a mutual friend of ours. He did seem quite interested in your present welfare.” This got Sara’s attention. “Well, you can tell your ‘chum’ from merry old England exactly where he can shove his so-called interest.” Peter chuckled, “Ooh, testy are we?” Sara stands up and approaches Peter, placing her hand firmly on his throat. She gets close to her younger brother’s face and admonishes in a stone cold voice, “I swear to God, Peter, if you say a word about this to anyone, I will forget we share the same DNA, and rip you to pieces with nothing but my bare hands. Is that understood?” Peter awkwardly smiles and responds, “Quite.” With that, Sara shoves Peter back up against the side of the hot tub, grabs a towel, and heads back into the house. Lightheartedly, Peter remarks to himself, “I suppose that’s what I get for merely trying to start conversation.”
