My friends and I love to sing. Once I sent a clip of one friend and I doing a duet to someone on my chat list, and his comment was, "I like the second voice better."

The first voice, me, is an unstyled voice that is disturbingly androgynous and if I had to compare it to a famous person it would be Cher. The second voice, my friend, is female and more like a generic pop singer's voice. The song was written to complement her voice and I was just thrown in because I was the only male singer she could get on short notice. (You read correctly: I am a male who sounds like Cher.)

I have learned two things from this:
> Never record a duet of a song that isn't made for your voice with a singer who sings better than you by far
> Never ask anyone for an opinion if you don't want honesty unless that person is paid to kiss your posterior.
