Official Website: Dead Space 2 Some information: Dead Space 2 is an upcoming survival horror third-person shooter video game developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It is the sequel to Dead Space. Unlike its predecessor, Dead Space 2 has a multiplayer mode. A Limited Edition will be available for all three platforms, while the PlayStation 3 version will include Dead Space: Extraction as a PlayStation Move compatible title. Plot: Dead Space 2 is a survival horror game that takes place in 2417, three years after the events of Dead Space, on a densely populated space station in orbit around Saturn called "The Sprawl". The mental illness caused by the Marker appears to be permanent and continues to have an effect on the protagonist Isaac Clarke. The government will continue to have a place in the storyline. The game will begin in a hospital aboard the Sprawl. Players will witness the horror of the Necromorph infection as it begins in the station. **Taken off of the Dead Space wiki.** Release date is 1/25/2011, and if you're interested in a taste of some gameplay, there is a demo available for download on consoles, not sure about PC. I've played it, seems pretty good. |
