How do you handle whining and tantrums? Tantrums really don't bother me that much. We do a time-out for those. As soon as they start they get carried directly to the steps to sit until the timer goes off. They get 1 minute for each year old they are (even the 2 yr old, and she actually stays ) Whining really gets on my nerves though. I think if I put them in time-out for it they'd be there all day but I know it would probably begin to limit it if I did. And they seem to know this is one of my "buttons". Consistency is so hard sometimes. Anyone else have trouble with this?
