Here's what I eat on a typical weekday:
Breakfast (around 7:30a): Strawberry/blueberry smoothie (20-30g whey/casein protein blend, 1 cup frozen strawberries, 0.5 cup frozen blueberries, 1.5 cups water)
Lunch (around 11a): 4-6oz lean meat (usually grilled chicken), 0.5 cup Quaker oats (not the instant kind), around 15 almonds. I mix the meat and oatmeal together, which I think is awesome, but most people (my wife included) think is disgusting
Snack (around 2:30p): 3-5oz lean meat (usually grilled chicken), apple or orange, 10 almonds. I just eat the "meat cookie" cold (again, disgusting to my wife, but I like it)
Dinner (around 6p on rest days, 7:30p on crossfit days): Usually 4-6oz lean meat (beef, chicken, or pork), 1 cup green vegetable, and sometimes whole wheat bread; on Crossfit days, I add a protein shake (25g blended protein poweder, 1 cup skim milk)
Snack (around 9:00p): 1 cup skim milk, almonds; if I'm going to cheat, it usually happens here in the form of Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla and Hershey's chocolate syrup.
Basically, I try to follow the Zone diet. I haven't really attempted Paleo.
On weekends, I eat whatever I want, which usually looks something like this:
Following this diet + Crossfit, I don't really gain or lose weight, and I am slowly getting stronger. If I were to go hardcore, I'd be strict on weekends also.
Any feedback from the Paleo gurus? Am I poisoning my body?
