I've been doing well eating, just haven't had time to post. Sticking with paleo as much as possible makes my tummy and digestive system happy.

No bread, no processed, no grains, no sugar - makes Robin a happy girl.

I had a couple of cheat meals this weekend. One was at the conference. Nikki and I (sorry Nikki) had to indulge in the sweets they had to offer. I think both of us paid the price of that one on Sunday. Can everyone say "inflammatory response"? Remember that phrase - you will hear it at the nutrition seminar. The second cheat meal was Sunday night when I was too tired to cook and someone said "Mighty Fine Burger" and I was all over it. Other than that, my meals were good - not necessarily measured though.

Monday started with 2 eggs and 2 cups spinach. Went to chicken breast, spinach and asparagus and ended with chicken and mixed veggies. I had 10 almonds somewhere during the day as well and some grapes.

Bfast: ground turkey, celery and spinach
Lunch: 3 almonds, tuna meatballs with celery, squash and carrots chopped inside. On top of spinach.
Snack: small handful of goldfish (my stomach was growling!)
Dinner: more tuna meat balls

Okay, this weekend was absolutely horrible. Between Colton's bday party Friday night where I grabbed a south beach bar on the way to prevent myself from eating anything because I had not had time to eat lunch. I did fine until the end when I ate 2 small pieces of cheese pizza - I don't even like pizza, so you know I was hungry!

Saturday I had two sausage and egg bfast tacos, took Colt to another bday party where I ate 1/2 piece of cake. For dinner I broke down and ate whataburger.

Sunday - grabbed some cashews, pistachios and 4 goldfish heading out the door to church.
Lunch at Luby's per Colt's request (his actual birthday) and I got chicken fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatos. For dessert, I had a small piece of pumpkin pie with one scoop ice cream. Since I knew I was to be banished to an upset stomach on Monday, I ate at Mighty Fine Burger. Somewhere on this weekend, I had several small pieces of Colt's cake as well.

So here we are on Monday. I had a horrible workout and I'm pretty sure I can pinpoint much of it to my lousy nutrition.

Bfast: 2 eggs, ground turkey, 1/2 zucchini and spinach
Snack: 6 cashews
Lunch: lean ground beef, 1/2 squash and spinach
Snack: 3 almonds
Dinner: lean ground beef and spinach.

I've actually been doing really well on food and need to update my log daily.
Most days I have lean ground beef/turkey with 1 egg, 1 zucchini or squash and spinach for bfast, lunch and sometimes dinner.

Wednesday - David and I were in Houston and got salads at FreeBirds.

Thursday - On the way home, we ate salads from Chipotles. Not perfect, but best choice. Dinner was beef fajitas and veggies from TC.

Friday - ground turkey, zucchini, sweet potatos (was craving) with cucumbers that had lemon juice on them.
4 wings from Hooters - not best choice, but tasted good.

trying to decide what is for dinner. I need more calories and more veggies to finish off my day.

took me an hour to get it down.

Snack - 3 almonds
