Old name: ??? Current name: Luke Xorn Age: 20 Appearance: 178 cm, 68 kg, toned but not highly defined, tan complexion. Brown hair in a sharp, tapered haircut, clean shaven, brown eyes. Favorite color: Teal Favorite quote: "Wrath is not a sin when directed at the wicked" Preferred method of execution: Back stab through the heart Luke Xorn was born to an extremely wealthy, politically powerful religious family. Growing up, he was fascinated by the stories and tales of the Old Testament. What most captured his imagination was the portrayal of divine justice. As a young boy, he fantasized about being the hand of God, and inflicting justice upon the wicked. His best friend from birth was Esmeralda Yakira, the heiress to an extremely large fortune, and part of a family with a great deal of political clout. She was born only several months before him and they were inseparable. As he entered adolescence, he was educated in politics and the inner workings of high society. However, he was shielded from the outside world, never knowing how the rest of the world lived. One day during his sixteenth year, he and Esmeralda decided to sneak away and see the rest of the world. What they saw however, was nothing like they had ever expected. They had entered the slums of society where people starved daily, and had to do what the could to survive, even if it meant theft or murder. They had further learned that the upper class had been bleeding dry those underneath them, which had caused this horrible situation. The experience left both fundamentally changed disillusioned, cynical, and angered. They had agreed to leave on the eve of her 21st birthday, as that was when people became fully recognized as adults, and she was slightly older. However, not even one year after the incident, Esmeralda became missing. She was suspected kidnapped. Luke began his own personal investigation to aid the search for her, but learned something horrifying. He had learned a radical group had assassinated her, hoping to eliminate the political power she would eventually gain. After finding who was responsible, he killed every last person involved. Keeping a low profile, he lived the last few years as a noble in bitter contempt, despising the corruptness, needless opulence, and wickedness of his kind. After keeping his promise to Esmeralda, he left high class society, leaving everything else behind including his identity. Now he travels the land, searching for the unjust and wicked, and executing them. Checking my watch, I notice I’m already 9 minutes late. Oh well. I know he’ll wait for me, I have too much dirt on him and he’s much too scared of me. I reach my destination, and it turns out to be… a night club? I suppose it’s a safe bet for him, I certainly wouldn’t do anything in such a crowded place. As I walk up, a thickly muscled bouncer eyes me, but lets me enter, after checking the guest list and double checking my ID. I stay close to the wall, nudging past the dancing patrons to a dimly lit booth in the back, my contact nervously sipping a drink and waiting for me. “Where the hell were you? I said 11:30, right on the dot! What if I left here huh? I can’t be caught talking to you ya know, or else the next thing I know I’ll be at the bottom of a pier!” “Then shut up and tell me why you called me out here. You said you had information about James Akarth?” “Yeah, yeah, you know how he’s usually got his contingent of bodyguards? In two days, on Saturday, he’ll be without them, He’s meeting with a rival gang leader in a warehouse by the pier 13. I think they’re working on an alliance or something like that...” “Okay, thanks for the intel.” As I get up to leave, Larry looks a little anxious, but I put it past me. Finally, Akarth is going to be alone? I can’t believe my luck. For years I’ve been chipping away at the Corpus gang, taking out bit players. Just last week though, I killed his cousin. I heard that dealt him a major blow. And if I play my cards right, maybe I can get the other leaders. Things are finally looking up for me. I’m crouching behind some stacked cardboard boxes when the meeting commences. Akarth and some other leader, along with their body guards enter the room. After exchanging pleasantries, each man sends their bodyguards away. Their conversation is much too quiet for me to make anything out, but about two hours later, it seems they come to some sort of agreement. Akarth takes his leave, and I follow him through an alternate route, keeping my eyes on him and waiting for the right moment. As soon as the other man exits the warehouse, I ambush Akarth. I pull out my blade and ready it to end his life and his reign of terror. “So… It has finally come to this. I was quite upset after you killed my cousin, you know. I had to find a new heir to my empire. I guess my son is a little green, but I’m sure he’ll do just fine.” “Well he’ll gain control of it sooner than he ever expected. I hope he’s prepared to die too.” “Well… actually it isn’t me who’s going to die tonight” *BANG* It happened so fast, I didn’t feel it at first. The only thing I realized was I started falling to the ground and my vision went dark at the edges. Then it hit me; A sharp pain, on the right of my chest. “You thought that I would go without my body guards that easily? Please. This was a setup the whole time. Larry was in the palm of my hand the entire time. All those that intel he fed you? I told him to give it to you. You were… cleaning up loose ends for me.” “Fuck… you.” Then blackness. /unmitigatedbullshit MEETING OF MY GEIST TO SHOW UP SOME TIME TOMORROW Edited by Luke Xorn, Jan 25 2012, 11:42 PM.
