"Everyone, we should head back into the saloon and wait for the others, there is no telling what we might find in the school house and I want us all together when it happens, please get back inside." Anthony holds open the saloon door.

Alyss follows Anthony's suggestion, heads back into the Saloon. If I sit down, maybe this ringing in my ears will go away. She then proceeds to sit down on the dust covered floor next to Tyson.

"What?" Sylvia asks the skeptical question almost at a mumble, glaring at the others who would just go back into the saloon. "What are you guys doing?! What if the others need our help?" The screams were just as unnerving to her as anyone else here but this was just ridiculous. She backs away from them a little bit slowly and shakes her head a little, her hood shifting back as she does so. Her brilliant red-auburn hair peeks out and catches the sun, the more red hues reflecting even more before she subconsciously brings a hand back up to pull her hood down.

"Um... We should try getting as much water as we can and bring it over, we'll waste less time that way," she says as she walks into the saloon, head down. Grabbing what glasses and mugs are there she starts to fill them all up as much as she can. When she's done, she grabs two, a glass in her left hand and a mug in her right, and sheepishly heads back out the door, making her way over to the sheriff's office.

Opening the front door as best as she can, she goes inside and takes a look around. Everything is displaced, the desk is overturned, the dust has obviously been upset in more than one place, telling her that the overturned desk was a result of her current party, and she can't help but wonder what happened, and if everyone is okay.

But the room is deserted. She notices another door is open in the room though and cautiously approaches until she hears the familiar voices. 'They sound okay,' she thinks with an imperceptible sigh.

Quietly, she enters the room and stands in the light of the door, not really wanting to say anything after seeing that Jack is stuck in the cell. She figures that the water can wait until after he's out.

As the horrible screaming pierces his ears, Tyson begins to shake uncontrollably.
When the childish cries come to a stop, panic sets in, he frantically looks around the room.

As Alyss and Sylvia enter the saloon he lets out a sigh of relief. At least they seem to be unharmed.
But still overwrought with fear, he isn't quite sure what to say to them.

When Sylvia leaves he stares at the door. He lets out a quiet sigh. He's so confused. Did they hear the screaming? Was any of it even real?
Tyson sits beside Alyss. "D-did you hear all that crazy stuff just now?..." He looks at Alyss, puzzled, until he suddenly realizes she seems to be in some discomfort. "Yo, are you ok?" He asks.

"There is a ringing in my ears," Alyss says to Tyson, "And I know that sitting helps. And yes I did hear that stuff just now."

Al Kentin

Al whirls as the jail cell doors slam shut, and as the screams begin to ring out his face lights up with a mixture of curiosity, tension, and even a touch of fear. A look of horror slowly begins to take him as he realizes what he's hearing, but as the screams fade so too does his expression until he's left standing stock-still staring off towards the school, as though he could see it through the walls.

He snaps out of it as Luke bursts into the room, instantly returning to the situation at hand. "If it's locked, leave the boy," he says, his voice laden with grim decisiveness. "He's more likely to be safe in an empty jail cell then out here where he can do something else stupid anyway. We don't want any casualties here, but there's nothing wrong with leaving an insubordinate soldier in solitary confinement for a while." He turns away from the cell and makes for the door, pausing in the door frame. "I'm going to check outside. I'm not going far, just looking out the front door, join me the moment you're done in here." He moves quickly and assuredly, throwing open the front door quickly but carefully enough to keep it from slamming against the wall. He looks outside without putting his head outside the door, in case of danger, scanning the street and shifting his position in the doorway to get as wide an angle of the street as he can. "Is anyone hurt? Does anyone know what happened?" he calls in a booming voice honed from years of commanding troops over the roar of battle.

Catarina a little lost, and curious, doesnt panic, the wonderous events happening excite her, she smiles, "Maybe...hmmm...yes I'll slip away and sneak over there by myself" She sneaks away quietly towards the school house, but stops recalling what she learned from all the times of sitting in her room at home watching scary movies with her friends, she remembered, "In Blair Witch, screams emmitted from arounds the tent, screams of children, when they stopped there was a wave of panic, and the campers left running in the dark from nothing.....could it possibly be the same if I were to approach?" she shrugged, and continued sneaking. She got in a safe respectible distance of the schoolhouse and stared at it, she waited, listened.

Jack's body check and Luke's inspection confirm the same thing. The cell door is, indeed, locked. It's odd, however, because the door does not appear to be new enough to be designed to lock automatically upon closing.

It's entirely likely that the key isn't far off.

In fact, there appears to be a ring of three keys directly opposite the cells.

Again odd, because it seems as if they weren't there the first time the room was inspected.

They're quite shiny. They look almost new.

Meanwhile, Al runs outside to find the street much as he left it. The obvious prominent differences are that the schoolhouse doors have been left wide open, and Catarina stands still in the center of it all, staring at the school with a glassy expression.

Anthony hands Al the glasses he was holding "What is going on in your building? We found water and some glasses in the Saloon."
