The world swims around you, slowly coming into focus as your eyes open. Sunlight streams through the cracks of an old, boarded up window, revealing rotting wood and the broken remains of furniture. A thick layer of dust and dirt has long settled over the floor. A small puff of it kicks up as you remove yourself from your reclining posture, and you hear the groan of the floor beneath.

A niggling thought springs to life, as if from the back of your mind, quickly growing into confusion and panic.

You have no idea where you are.

You remember going to sleep the previous night in the comfort of your own home, and then...
This.

Looking around you, you notice seven other people reacting in much the same way.

What do you do?

Anthony asses his surroundings and searches for materials to pass the time while the group figures out whats happening. Occasionally he would pick up an object and weigh it to another and but it back with a slight look of disgust at it's current condition.

As he looks about the room at the group he announces "Well, instead of sitting around why don't we get to know each other a little bit? My name is Anthony Bel-Fairfax and it seems we have all had the same...shall we say, mysterious act of having ourselves removed from our own respective rooms. Does anyone have any thoughts on what we should do now?"

Jack see's all the strange people and this strange place, and thinks to him self, "I need some air." And, ignoring all the other people, he walks outside.

Catarina looks around the room, "This is absurd, I know I went to bed in MY room," she wanders around, "Why are there so many people here...this is so confusing," she looks at the middle aged man who begins to speak, "Uh, Hi, Im Catarina, nice to meet you, Im sorry but I honestly have no idea what the hell we should do."

Al Kentin

Spoiler: click to toggle

Al gazed groggily about at his surroundings as he slowly came to consciousness, his wits dulled temporarily by the drowsy fog of sleep. Slowly but surely the room began to come into focus, and slowly but surely it dawned on the ex-general that this dark, dingy room was not the room in which he'd fallen asleep. It was mere moments after this realization that his instincts began to kick in. In an instant he was on his feet in a low crouch, patting himself down for clothes and weapons and glancing quickly around the room, searching specifically for potential threats, potential cover, and potential exits.

Tyson is extremely confused and frightened. Who the heck are these people?
And last time he checked, old spooky houses were not his style.
Just how did he get here?
He ponders for a moment, until the first rational thought comes to mind.
"Ohhh, I get it! This is just a dream!" He exclaims. "All I have to do is wait for me to wake up."
He sits back and relaxes, waiting.
But of course, when nothing happens, he begins to panic. "Any second now....... Any... Second..."

‘Ugh, what’s all the noise?’ Sylvia thought as she opened her eyes a little groggily and sat up. Immediately her eyes popped open as she realized she was not only not where she last remembered, but that she also didn’t recognize any of the people around her. Panic building, she silently stood up and slipped into a dark corner, content to stay hidden from the rest of the people and just observe.

After she knew she was hidden enough, she took a look around at the people she was with and building she was in, noting an approximate age for the abandoned building and people as well as the location various things and possible exists. Curiously watching some people simply leave the building, she thinks, ‘Seriously? This can be any manner of place! Oh well, I guess we have to figure this out somehow.’

Suddenly her head snaps towards a middle aged man as he begins to speak. "Well, instead of sitting around why don't we get to know each other a little bit? My name is Anthony Bel-Fairfax and it seems we have all had the same...shall we say, mysterious act of having ourselves removed from our own respective rooms. Does anyone have any thoughts on what we should do now?"

Feeling even more uncomfortable now, she backs further into her corner, hoping no one notices her, and just watches.

From the moment I was awake, I knew something was wrong. Lying still for a moment, playing asleep, I listened and judged my surroundings. The familiar weight of my knife wasn't there, and I felt slightly less at ease. The air smelled stale and musty.. definitely not a good place. Listening to various other people introduce themselves, I quickly realized that these people were in the same position as I.. or at least very good actors. Recognizing that there was no immediate threat. Slowly, I get up and scan the area. Just a random bunch of confused looking people. At least they're not armed.

I say, "My name is Luke. Luke Xorn. It appears none of us know where we are, nor what has happened. I suggest we collect ourselves and do a search of the place.. as a group. I don't yet trust any of you. Especially not that person who just walked out."

The ragtag group of people collectively pulls itself together.

Those of you who look around the room notice that it is about seven yards across. There are a few holes in the ceiling, through which additional light streams through. A large crate sits in one corner. There is only one obvious exit, an old looking wooden door.

Al notices that both the crate and the door look extremely weakened with age. A strong blow looks like it would completely shatter either of them.
Performing a quick check on himself, he sees that while he is in his regular clothes, he has no other items with him.

Jack attempts to walk out the door, but finds that it does not open to his touch. It appears to be deadbolted shut from the outside.
