Name: Stevens, Jacob Age: 24 Class: Pro Duelist Years Pro: 2 Gender: Male Race: Caucasian Height: 5'9" Weight: 140 lb Eye Color: Green Hair Color: Black Personality: [Water] [Pride] [Lust] Cocky and self-absorbed, Jacob thinks of himself as the absolute best at everything. There is nothing that he cannot do, no foe he can't out-think, and no girl he cannot seduce. He's just the best. End of story. A few people say that he is a little sadistic at times. Defining Characteristics: Always, always sharply dressed. Physical Appearance: Jacob has short jet black hair and cold green eyes. Generally, his clothing is a green or black color. He is very attentive to detail, which shows in the way he dresses. Known Relatives: David, older brother, deceased. Natalya Soravera, cousin, age 25, currently employed at Crimson Wind Academy Biography: Jacob never knew his parents. All he knew was his older brother, David. David was seven years older than Jacob and he was his caretaker. The two grew up in the foster care system in San Francisco, eventually being adopted by the Soravera family when Jacob was 8. The Soraveras were a nice couple, and focused a lot of their attention on the two boys after their daughter had started attending a private boarding school. His childhood passed as he dueled his older brother with a scrounged-up deck of Duel Monsters cards. The Soraveras helped the two brothers with their schooling, holding up their daughter on a pedestal of brilliance that the two could someday hope to match. Jacob struggled while David made everything look easy. While jealous of his brother's abilities, he began to idolize him more and more. David was the perfect brother. He was intelligent and kind, and he commanded the respect of both his friends and enemies. Especially in Duel Monsters. The "Monarchs" that David brought to the table were fearsome, and very rarely did they ever lose-- even when David began to compete professionally. By this time, Jacob was in high school. He was working hard to match his brother and Natalya's performance, and failing miserably. He still struggled in class, but managed to make passing grades. Frustrated at life and school, and powerless to match his brother even in the card game they both loved so much, he poured his energy into music. Gathering together a few close friends, he started a band-- Patchwork, they decided to name themselves. As Jacob started college, they began to play more and more for their friends, and soon they were well known and even requested to play for special events on campus. Finally, Jacob had found something that only he could do. He was no longer in anyone's shadow. It was not long before Patchwork had accumulated a large following of devoted fans. When David was murdered over two years ago, they were all ready to support Jacob. Rumor has it that Jacob received copious amounts of consolation from his adoring, sympathetic female fans. But those are just rumors. For about six months, Jacob could do little artistically. The emotional strain on Patchwork's lead singer nearly destroyed the band. For the memory of his brother, Jacob dusted off David's monarch deck and took his place in the Pro Circuit. Cutting down his opponent's with his brother's efficiency and his own rage, he found the strength to live again. Patchwork released another album as Jacob fought on with his brother's deck. Meeting with nothing but success after success, his ego continued to grow. Some time later, Natalya Soravera, a professor at Crimson Wind Academy, invited him to come as a Professional Duelist and give some insight into the life of a Pro Duelist as well as some deck tips. She argued that the young pop star would make a great impact on the students, and they'd pay attention to him when he gave them advice. Little did the selection committee know of their ties to the Chirel family.... Pro Topic Contact Information: AIM: lanavel pilot |

Sure... *nods and agrees* Approved. I think there's a special section for Pro characters, so I'll either try to find it, or let Rina move it. |
