JeY walked in with Edo behind him. Jey walked to the counter, and bought some chocolate peanutbutter swirl. Delicious! They make fantastic ice cream here... He sat down at a table, and enjoyed his ice cream while he waited for Edo. Oh no! im afriad I never introduced myself! I guess I will once he walks over. What hunger can do to a brain... |

Edo walked in behind the yellow, got some ice cream and sat down. He took a lick of it. It was refreshing to his pallet. The ice cream seemed to cool him almost instantly. "That other Yellow seems to be a bit arrogant..." he said to JeY. |

"Hah, arrogant? Did you ever live a life of not being the pro, and encountering one yourself? Arrogant maybe, but it's common behavior to want to be reconized. Even after a duel, he would be heated up. Not to mention, this is a competitive game, in a competitive school. Sorry if I sound like i'm insulting you, but i'm telling you what goes on around here." JeY took another taste of his wonderful ice cream. He had prepped himself not to act shy and passive, at the same time try not to seem arrogant himself, putting himself above the pro. It was complicated, especially for JeY. After the pause, JeY resumed speech. "Hm. Maybe if you stick around with me a bit and learn from with my psychoanalysis skills, you can acquire a behavior to maximize friends and minimize enemies." JeY paused a moment again. "Of course, you can be completely capable of your own, in case I'm sorry for the judgement." He had some more ice cream. "what do you say?" |

Edo looked across the table at the Yellow. "You do know that I, too, have been to school, and I know how it works. However, I believe that one should pick their fights. I also believe in not trying to start too much, unless what happened back there happened to you." "Well anyways," he smiled,"I'm glad to finally be here. The trip across the sea was so hard... part of my Yacht broke down and now i need the parts..." |

JeY could laugh to himself. He couldn't find it in his own speech that he was asking the pro to fight anyone. "I'm sorry, you may have misinterpreted me. I have no doubt you've been to school, even a prodigy can't get as good as you without some education. I'm not implying we should instigate at all, I know you have not been here before, so I'm saying I can help you easily learn what people are like around here, so you don't start something on accident. I'm sorry if I sound forceful, but my OCD wants me to make sure you really understood what I said." He paused again for his ice cream. Sometimes I think I talk to much, whatever he says after this I'm shutting up until he says something... sometimes I just hate my terrible social skills...If I'm really bothering you, just say so, maybe we can start off again tomarrow and I'll control myself more." JeY smiled at Edo. He wanted to make sure that he didn't really mean the way he was acting, and that I'll try to be better from now on. If he doesn't get the message, first impression has gone down the drain, and you don't get a second chance of those. |

Edo stared, surprised that the Ra had been able to say so much in one breath. "Don't worry about it," he said in a relaxed tone. "I think if we just calm down and let nature take role, our destinies will be revealed. You said you had OCD. Try slowing down, and think about what you're going to say. I find it helps a bit when one can clear the mind and think of all possible options." Edo was surprised at himself for sounding so philosophical. It was probably the first time he had said anything like that. He took a spoonful of cold ice cream." |

JeY seemed puzzled. Does he know what OCd is, or can be? How it related to slowing down, he didn't know. He got the message though, to think before he speaks. He was terrible at that, however. "Yeah." JeY said in a tone that acknowledged Edo's advice and he understood. "I don't always think, heh." JeY was just glad Edo wasn't annoyed. Maybe he enjoyed to be talking to a unique person? Stick to his expression for now. Once we get the key, the analysis will prove useful in a duel. How will I ever learn his patterns if I think what I want to believe rather than the facts... Edo was probably unaware that JeY reads people as often as he can to learn about them. It's the skill he wanted to original use to assist Edo in leanring about the duelists here. "Well uh, it's too bad about your Yacht. Good for us, I guess. Maybe you'll hang around for a while?" JeY had some more ice cream. His eating speed compared to the rate of which the ice cream was melting was desirable - It would be finished with little slush at the bottom. |

Edo realized what he had said about OCD was wrong. Not a good thing for a Pro. "Sorry about that OCD comment, it was completely wrong. I guess my mind was jumbled a bit. I just noticed how you had said so much in so little time." "Well, anyway, I'll probably be sticking around for a while, however I don't know yet if I'm supposed to be teaching a class, or be thrown into a dorm. Either could really work. I wouldn't mind. Taking on the role of a student in this academy would be interesting. Likewise, teaching others what I've learned in the Pro League would be fun too. It's always good to share knowledge, I think." [ooc: c'mon writers, i'm waiting for a real arc to start. I can only think of so much small talk ya know... lol] |

Light walked into the ice cream shop. He was really hungry, and he was really craving something peanut butter-y. As he got to the counter, a woman about a year or two older than him walked towards him. "Hello, new guy, what's your name?" she asked nicely. "My name? It's Light Souzen." Light replied. "Your name is 'Souzen'? I've heard that name before..." the woman said. "Anyways, what would you like?" "Anything that's peanut butter flavored, really..." Light replied. The woman giggled. "All right. Peanut Butter Shake it is." she said, as she turned around to make the order. A few seconds later, she brought the order back, and gave it to Light. "Thank you very much." Light said happily, as he left a $50.00 on the counter. The countergirl took the bill, mistaking it for $10.00, but realized it was $40.00 more than the actual price. But by that time, Light already said "Keep it." As Light walked to a table, he noticed a familiar white-suited silver-haired teenager with a Ra Yellow student. "Edo?" Light asked. |

"You should stay as a student" JeY spat out almost instantly after Edo finished speaking [OOC: not literally, there was no syliva invovled]. "You wouldn't be caught up by work and have some more freedom around here. Besides, contributing to the class as a pro would all you would need to share your knowledge with us." JeY paused for his ice cream. It was nearly diminished. "I remember what happend when I tried to teach something..." JeY looked at Edo, then back at his icecream. My tone of voice and body language, if I read him correctly, will ensure he stays a student. This will allow more time to get to know him, and save Edo the trouble of possibility ofembarrasing himself. He's not trained to teach, so something might happen. During the thought, JeY maintained negative body language. |
