I was working on a plot for CRA a few months ago. Hold a massive tournament and invite all other Yu-Gi-Oh! sites we can think of. In the RP, offer an artifact as the prize to whichever organization wins. I already told Edo some of the finer points of the plan but this is the framework. Benefits are the formation of friendly rivalries and a beacon for potential members. Feedback? |

I had two ideas... First, is that we don't really need a plot. It could just be fun to have a normal year at a duel academy, maybe with a couple tournaments setup amidst it, particularly in times when a lot of people want to move up a dorm. Second, why not a Shadow Riders arc kinda deal (I know, ew, dub name)? It doesn't have to be the same, just similiar. I really liked the idea of everyone being good or bad side, split down the middle, with everyone getting equal screen time (or, the ones with "gate keys", for lack of a better term, will probably get more airtime the longer they keep it, meaning the better duelists will be roleplaying more) instaed of making an arc where just a few people are really highlighted. These two ideas are primarily designed to not highlight on eroleplayer in particular, and I think just that can be done with the first idea especially. |

I've always been an advocate of limited plot; I was at Cloud Ridge before we had one. And to be honest, that was the most fun for everyone. I don't watch GX, so can someone give me an overview of the Shadow Riders? |

I'd say we go with the plot idea where we are all in teams and everything is "Normal" for the most part and then something "Shadow Rider" like occurs with some kind of group, pretty much going off Geno's idea. |
