Billie opened up her backpack, pulling out a small black box. Inside of it was her deck. She shuffled it quickly, and slid her deck into place. Her duel disk opened into position. "Let's go!" she said, a passion lit in her eyes. (OOC: AIM me at Red Sun 5789, or just send me a PM I guess. I kind of forgot how to use YVD...) |

Sean steps into the main hall, second year, duel disk hanging off his belt at the back of his hip. He steps forwards to look at the situation, Gouki Shinkou, the arrogant punk/sacking samurai duelist was challenging what appeared to be a first year. "Hey Shinkou, how bout going easy on one of them this time?" he asked him turning his attention to Kabuto, a blue, and a first year. He took up a seat next to Kabuto and folded his arms. He looked over at Kabuto and sighed, he still hadnt made it to blue, but he would this year, that he would make sure of. Not so much of trampling over the new and old students but more of improving by dueling. How else was he supposed to get out of the school and into the Pro Circuit? that was Gouki's dream as well, something they both aspired to achieve. |

The Pro Duelist stepped through the gates of the southern entrance to Crimson Wind. He was tired after traveling the sea to find the academy. His yacht had been caught in a storm, nearly destroyed, and now sat in the port waiting to be repaired. As he came in through the doors, he noticed an Obelisk Blue, and a few Ra Yellows. He was glad to see that this school had the same official ranking system as the other schools. "Hi there," he said. "Name's Edo." |

[OOC: I think he's just implying you, nothing signified his character knew yours, for clearing up misunderstandings. Meh, I guess I'll jump in the RP.] JeY walked in. A first year, but not wearing a dorm jacket. There was a mess-up with his exam, and he was placed in Red until it is sorted out. He decided to not worry, he knew he scored higher than Red. In the meantime, in a random stroll looking for something to do, he encountered people, and 2 about to duel. He liked watching duels if they were exciting. if they're one-sided, he would see it as a bore-fest. He also deicded to make some new friends. He walked up to the 3 not dueling. "Hello, I'm JeY. Glad to meet you all." He said his second line early, hopefully to the others it would indicate a sense to introduce themselves to JeY. He waited in anticipation for a move to be made by one of the duelists. He wanted a sense of the skill levels here. |

"Ladies first" said Billie. She drew her top five cards, then drew a sixth to signal her draw phase. "I activate the effect of Zeradias, Herald of Heaven." she dropped the Angelic Fairy into her graveyard. She picked up her deck and searched out a field spell, The Sanctuary in the Sky. She placed it down onto her duel disk. "Next, I summon Bountiful Artemis in attack mode." The mechanical looking Fairy was summoned onto the field, in glorious light. "Lastly, I'll set one card facedown." She set a card onto the back row of her duel disk. "Your turn." she said, holding 3 cards in her hand. Edited by Billie Hatcher, Feb 2 2008, 10:36 PM.

Kabuto began to take down notes. Billie was using what appeared to be a fairy deck, perhaps a Counter Fairy deck to be precise. Only time would tell. Now what will our arrogant friend use I wonder? |

Gouki looks at his starting hand and shows an unsatisfied face. Without a second thought he threw down a Spell Card that was known as Card Destruction. "This better draw me a much better starting hand!" Both Gouki and the silver haired Ra duelist discarded their entire hand to the graveyard and then they drew cards equaling to the amount they had before. Gouki looks at his hand with a now satisfied look. "I summon Diamond Dude on my side of the field!" Gouki slapped the monster card on his duel disk as a diamond armored warrior materializes on to the field. "Now, I shall use my Diamond Dude's effect to pick up the top card of my deck" The Ra student picks up the card from his duel disk and reveals it to his opponent. The card revealed to be 'Trade-In' and since it's a Normal Spell, Gouki sends it to his graveyard. "On my next turn, I'll be able to draw 2 cards for no cost! Now I activate Monster Gate to tribute my Diamond Dude" The diamond crusted warrior vanishes and gets replaced by a warp and Gouki mills through his deck for a Monster that can be Normal Summoned. He picks up a Diamond Dude who jumps out of the warp created from Monster Gate. "I activate the new Diamond Dude's effect" Gouki picks up another Spell and it's revealed to be Monster Gate. Gouki smiles as he succeeded in using Diamond Dude's effect twice in a row already. Not only he gets a card effect equal to Pot of Greed, but now a free summon on his next turn! "Now I shall equip my monster with Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade!" A sword materializes in the diamond warrior's hand which boosts it's ATK by 300 points. The warrior was now strong enough to destroy the angelic monster in front of it, so Gouki commands it to attack. But his opponent flips over Negate Attack, preventing the attack and drawing a card because of her monster's effect. "What a pest, well it's now your turn. Try not to make yourself too vulnerable before my turn comes!" Edited by Gouki Shinkou, Feb 3 2008, 03:46 PM.
