After coming from the courtyard, Jake was beginning to feel a little lonely. Even though he was just around a small group of people, he began to feel lonely on the inside. It wasn't just that it happened at that moment, but it had been growing ever since he left Rina in the ICS. However, he was not sure if that was the main reason for him feeling like this. As he felt the heat of the day beginning to fade away due to the time passing, he figured this would be a good time to do something he hadn't done in years. Since he was not in one of the big dorms, he had to make due with what he could. He wanted to go for a swim. After looking at a map, he figured the pier would be the best place to do it due to the ramp leading up to the land. After he made his decision, he began to walk towards the pier. As he saw the pier in sight, he was a little happy since he was getting tired. Once he finally arrived at the wooden area connection to the land, he looked down at the ramp leading down to a lower level of wooden planks that were extremely close to the water. As he was out in the open, he was not sure exactly how much clothing he would be comfortable in. After a minute of deciding, he decided that he would leave everything below the waist on except for his shoes. He slowly took off his jacket, revealing his white undershirt. After taking a quick listen, he slowly began to lift the shirt away from his body and over his head. |

"Hold it, right there!" Yelled a distant voice, calling from the land. A girl was jogging towards the pier, where Jake was. Stepping onto the wood, she, Akane Tachimuka, called out once, more, still a ways away. "What are you doing~?" she elongated the last word. Clad in a brand name, black t-shirt with a white towel around her neck, and track pants, the raven-haired girl approached, a mild look of angered quiry would soon be able to be seen by the Osiris, for the Osiris. Her arms were folded, joint by her hands under the elbows. She remember this guy from earlier today in detention. What is he up to now, she wondered. "Surely he's not going to...." |

Jake quickly slammed his shirt back down over his chest in embarrassment after hearing somebody approaching him from behind. He picked up his jacket and held it in his right hand as he looked behind him at the person who had called him. "Oh great, I thought I finally got rid of her." Jake muttered to himself as she approached. Once she was close enough, Jake had an obvious annoyed look on his face. After having to deal with her in Detention, she was the last person he wanted to see. He knew that his time for relaxation would now probably become a speechfest for whatever this girl had on her mind. "What do you want? I come down here to relax and you annoy me before I even get a chance to start." Jake told her. He was kinda hoping for somebody to talk to, but not her. |

"I hope you weren't planning on jumping in...." She stared. "If that's what you're upto, we have a beach for such a reason. This is no place for a dip," she stated firmly. No one would be allowed to do such things on her watch. |

"Thats exactly what I was planning to do before you stuck your big nose into this. Seriously, just go keep running and leave me alone. You are the last person I wanted to see here after this morning. I would have much rather seen the headmaster here and tell me off than you." Jake told her as he turned around and dropped his jacket to the ground again. |

"...." She tried to avoid letting loose more firepower from her mouth. But not one to be ignored, Akane tangented to another topic. ".... So is there are reason, then, why you're avoiding the beach, a place where even... someone like me... wouldn't get on your case?" After her earlier... conversation with Lawrence, the words 'someone like me' struck a cord after escaping her lips. ...Damn knight.... "I mean, why come out to some remote place to do something that you shouldn't be doing here, in the first place?" |

Jake turned back around as he glared at her. "I knew the beach would have somebody there who I didn't want to talk to. Why else would I come out here?" he asked her as he dropped his jacket again. "I only wanted to be by myself or with somebody I wanted to be here with me for a private talk or swim but I see that idea was blown out of the water by you." Jake said with anger deep in his voice. "I swear, I come here to relieve some stress from today and what do I get? I get the person who caused most of it. Now why don't you keep on running before I really tell you off." Jake warned her as he turned away from her again. |

"...." Her eyes narrowed at his remarks. And she was very much ready to complain in his direction as well - he was so asking for it. But instead, she had another idea. A sigh filled the air. "Damn," she uttered under her breath. Aloud, the raven-haired Osiris responded, "I'm not going to argue with you, anymore." From where she stood on the wooden area, she sat down. Not another word came from Akane as she watched the Osiris male do what he came here for. His ranting aside, she knew one of two things would happen: either he would continue on and swim, or, due to her presence, he would pack up and leave, disgruntled. And as easy as number 2 would be, if he decided to swim anyway, at least there would be someone to scout him, look out for him, in case of anything. ...It was a waste of her time, but she wasn't about to leave him here, knowing that if something were to happen, no one would come to his aid. It would be an annoyance to look in the mirror, knowing that she left him at the pier alone to swim about as he liked. |

"Without even looking behind him, Jake knew the annoyance had not left the area yet. Due to the sound when nobody was talking over was the sound of waves crashing against the rocks on the edge of the island that the Academy stood on. He waited for a little as his annoyance level was really beginning to peak with this girl. After a little more time, he turned around and slammed his foot on the ground, cracking the dirt and rock and under it a little. "What do you want you little witch!?" he exclaimed to her. "If you are not going to argue, then pack your stupid little left above your feet and walk away." Jake told her, extremely angry. "Why do you stay here!? Why are you so damn persistant!?" he yelled at her again. |
