Little Sakaki was running as fast as he rlittle legs could carry her yet again. This time, her scurrying was taking her - and her friend Danielle, who was an unwilling passenger to the mayem that was Sakaki's energetic impatience - to the Ra dorms, where the alleged trophy was said to be held. "C'mon, you big slowpoke, we're not gonna be the first ones there if we don't hurry!" Sakaki giggled as she ran, glad that she was able to help her friends, afterall. Two of the wins that had gotten them that trophy, afterall, were thanks to her. "We're almost there, Miss Danielle! C'mon!!!" The girl's boundless energy and natural curiosity was always getting the best of her. She wanted to see her name - and the names of her friends - on that trophy! [From: Detention, Class Rooms] Danielle pretended to be out of breath from being dragged to the Ra Dorms so quickly. "Wow... I don't think... I've ever seen you this excited before, Sakaki!" She stood up on her toes, and put a hand to her eyes, as though she were looking hard. She scanned the room, overplaying everything. "Oh, I don't know if I can see it anywhere...." It was really obvious that the congregation of Ra Yellow students near the window on the far side of the dining hall obscured the trophy. She could even see maybe a tiny bit of it because of her height. But Sakaki wouldn't be able to. "Do you have any idea where it could be?" |

"Heeheeheeha!" Sakaki giggled excitedly, scurrying still, not even close to out of breath as her friend appeared to be. "That's 'coz I'm so excited to see the trophy!" She looked about, left to right, tryign to find where the trophy would be. "Aw... We weren't the first ones there! Aw, man..." But she still had that proud grin on her face. "Hm..." Still looking about, she noted right away the big group of students at the back wall of the room, a flurry of yellow blazers and a storm of mustard-colored congratulatory decorations. School staff, it seemed, worked very quickly when they wanted to. It was obvious that The trophy was over there, where al the students would assuredly clamor to get a good look at it. So, she knew where it was. But that didn't mean she would say she did. If they went over there now, little Sakaki would be trampled for sure! And That wouldn't be much fun at all, would it? No, as long as miss Dani didn't know - although the little girl was fairly certain she'd figured it out by now (simply because... how could you not, really?) - she would play the game. Who knows? Maybe it would be fun. "I dunno, I can't see a thing... What should we do, miss Danielle?" She looked up with a curious look, wondering just what kind of game her friend had in mind. Danielle sighed. "Oh, it has to be around here somewhere, right?" She looked toward the large group of Ras, who were all discussing their various exploits in the tournament. She pointed to them. "Hm, why don't we go ask one of those people over there if they know where the trophy is?" Not that she didn't already know, of course. But she couldn't just tell Sakaki that it was, in fact, in that direction. She'd find out soon, and then she'd be even more excited than before. It would just be more fun for everyone that way. |

Sakaki paled a bit at the thought of approaching the crowd. She didn't fear talkign to groups of people, she loved being the center of attention... but a lot of those big legs could squish little Sakaki, and they seemed rather absorbed in something else... maybe she wouldn't be noticed? Well, she couldn't have that. So she came up with a better idea. "I know! How about you let me go piggyback? I could ride on your shoulders and we could definitely find out!" She giggled at the thought of riding on Danielle's shoulders. But Sakaki had always been scrawny and underweight, so maybe they could pull it off? ew... short post. |

Danielle smiled. "Yeah! That sounds like a great idea!" It wasn't the first time she'd given a child a piggy-back ride. In fact it was rather normal whenever she was working with kids. But... Sakaki was just a little bit older than they were. But really, it shouldn't be that much of a problem, right? Danielle always had a good sense of balance, which was a whole lot more important than physical strength when someone was riding on your shoulders. She crouched down, trying to steady herself as best as she could so that she wouldn't fall over once Sakaki got into position. Provided she didn't like... completely jump on her suddenly. "Alright, go ahead Sakaki!" |

"Yay!" Giggling excitedly, Sakaki quickly scurried to get behind Danielle, putting her arms on her shoulders and lifting herself up. She had to climb just a little, and she was careful not to hurt her, bu she wa sunsure if she was succesful. A knee digging into one's spine tends to be rather unenjoyable at times. "Oh! Sorry, miss Dani! I tried going slow so it wouldn't hurt..." But she was on her shoulders now, ready to move up. "Okay, ready when you are!" She reached down to take Danielle's hands in ers, to ensure she would not slip off and hit her little head on the hard ground of the ra dorms. |

"Okay!" Danielle took the girl's hands, and pressed her arms against Sakaki's legs so so wouldn't fall. Slowly and carefully, she stood up. She turned a little bit to face where the trophy was. Sakaki should have a pretty clear view from her position. "Do you see anything, Sakaki?" |
