No longer wearing his casual tunic and trousers, Lawrence was now wearing his full regulation knightly gear. Leather padded tunic, chainmail, and sword dangling off the right side of his hip. He sighed heavily, wondering what was to be done with his Squire. He assumed the all red Handicapped Boy was probably a close friend of his Squire, and loosing a close friend is never all that fun. Sitting at a table, he drank the bitter leaf water. Bitter because he had opened up the tea packet and poured it's contents into the boiling water. "Perhaps the Squire just needs a fair maiden, a dear companion and muse to be with him. But where can I procure a fair maiden on this island?" He gloved hand tapped his silver spoon against the ceramic cup as he was lost in thought, not paying particular attention to the two short students, an Obelisk girl and a Ra boy who appeared to be on a date. |

Finally getting to play a part in today's detention, Akane was not too happy. The sole reason for her sour mood happened once all of the students had left the room, leaving her and Professor Gavin. She had collected the short essays that were written, annoyed as there were some students who didn't even write them. As she wad briging them to the teacher, she scanned them over, ultimately freezing at one in particular. One essay was completely off topic. ...In fact, the focus of it was on Akane, herself, in a negative way. As if dealing with the sans-uniform Osiris wasn't bad enough, now she had hate... essays... to deal with. So immensely annoying!! Hot and bothered by the written words, Akane had taken refuge at the academy's cafe. Armed with a glass of iced tea and her novel, the raven-haired Osiris student brooded over the event. ...It's been 10 minutes since she entered; her iced tea less than half-full. |

[OCC: I'm terribly sorry, this thing slipped off my mind.  ][From: Training Wreck] Kenichi shambles into the cafe, following after the knight. He still can't believe that Vernon is gone. He's the only person he ever pour his heart content out, and he's gonna leave just like that? He sat on the table with the knight, now wearing his full armor. Although this surprised Kenichi a bit, he acted like he didn't care at all. Instead, just put on one of his 'fake' smile and looked at the Knight. He ordered a glass of orange juice. After getting his drink, he sipped it a little, and looks to the knight, 'smiling'. "So, what are we supposed to do today, sir?" he asked, looking directly at the knight eyes, hoping he could somehow came up something amusing, because he was feeling rather....sad this very day. |

Well, Lawrence couldn't just say 'we're here to pick up chicks now man', because that just didn't strike right with him. "Well, if you've honestly gotten over that Osiris student, today will be your lesson on-" he took a sip of his tea. "Courtly love." A sly smile on his face. He spoke once more: "A chivalrous knight must always be looking for a beautiful mistress, whom he must make himself worth of her by acting bravely and nobly and by doing whatever deeds she might desire." He took another sip. "A delicate young maiden to be your inspiration in battle and in other things." He nodded, agreeing with himself. |

Kenichi mind was drifting elsewhere while the knight is talking something about courtly love. It looks like he's still not over the departure of Vernon. But even though his mind is drifting away, he's still able to hear some of the knight said. 'Right, a delicate young maiden to be your inspiration in battle and in other things, okay..." he's not concentrating on what the knight is saying, but suddenly something came to his sense. "Waaait a minute," he said, not believing what he was hearing."I think I heard it wrong, but were you saying about love?" he stared at the knight. He absolutely, terribly, desperately CANNOT accept what he was saying. He was hoping he had misheard the knight, because that 'order' is the one that he absolutely, truly cannot comply. Honestly, how a guy that stuck in hospitals all time will have the skill to attract a girl, without making a bad impression of him? One word, impossible. |

Lawrence spoke as though this were the most importance lesson of Kenichi's life. "Listen young Squire, all you need to get a girl is have a little confidence." He looked a few tables down, noticing an Osiris female. If he knew it was the Dragonfly, he probably would have fled the room as quickly as possible. "She appears to be a tad despondent. The first step is getting her to talk to you." Lawrence took another sip. "You know what you must do." |

"You're kidding? There's no way I'm going to ask a girl out for a date. I'm too..." his face flushed. Well, he showed weakness in front of the knight, which he really didn't want to. Is he going to say he's nervous to talk with girls? Man, he'll be a laughing stock. "Why not you go, and set me some example, sir." he said, challenging him on the same time. |

"well I uh-" Lawrence seemed flustered, but surely the squire made a good point. He couldn't ask Kenichi to do something without being willing to do it himself. Finally, he nodded, agreeing to the Squire's challenge. "Fine, but you must speak to the next pretty young maiden to enter the tea shop." (OOC: No, that's not an invitation. We already kind of had it planned who would be Kenichi's date. =D) He got up from his table, walking over to Akane's. He still couldn't exactly recognize her. Her face was planted over some papers as she was reading them. (I assume? >_>) He took a seat across from her at the table. "Oh well, A chance at the ladies is a chance at the ladies." he muttered inaudibly. |
