The Racin hidden in the Azure Flames
|
Coming from Detention, Jake was still feeling a little angry and depressed at the same time. That however was getting pushed back as he was happy that he and Rina could finally talk about what happened those few days ago. Although Jake was hoping for something else. Jake didn't only want to talk about that but also about other things. However, Jake was still a very shy person. The only reason he wanted to duel back in the classroom is to try out his deck but that went downhill when the woman came in. Jake didn't want to think about that now though as he reached the Restaurant. Jake was a little tired from the distanced walk as he decided to be a gentlemen to Rina. He pushed on the door but was just met with his facing meeting the glass. "Oh, that hurt a little. They should really mark these things." he said as he pulled his face back and looked down to a sign that said "Pull." "Or, maybe I should look next time." Jake said embarrassingly. He then put his hand on the handle and opened the door. But instead of walking in, he backed away with the door, leaving the doorway open. "Ladies first." he said as he turned a little red in the face, not from the hit to the door but from shyness. |

Surprised at first, a chuckle withdrew from Rina's lips as Jake took note of his fault. Paying attention, this time, he held the door open for her, allowing her first passage. "Ah. Thankya-thankya." She took it naturally; it didn't seem special to her in any way as people do that kind of thing fairly often. She stepped inside, and was taken aback at how packed the place was. A lot of the tables were filled, and thankfully, today's customer line was shorter as most people have already been seated. Rina would never have known that, however. Establishment such as this never really crossed her radar. And from the look of the place, she assumed the decent meals were expensive. "Glad we're only here to talk...." The redhead in Ra clothing gazed about the restaurant, somewhat in awe. "...It looks pretty full. Hope we can get a table..." she said, still looking around. |

"Oh, that hurts more now than it did at first." Jake said as he walked inside and stopped beside Rina. "Oh crap." he said as he noticed alot of people looking at him and laughing at what he did. He really didn't feel comfortable now as he felt he had turned into the idiot of the restaurant now. As he looked around, he really didn't want to stay in this place much longer for multiple reasons. For one of them being that it was completely packed. Another being that he made himself look like a complete idiot in front of every single person in there. Jake in his shy nature turned a more shade of red on his face as he continued to look around. "You know, I bet the Ice Cream Shoppe is practically empty. We could have a much more relaxed talk there without all of these people overhearing." Jake said to Rina, wanting to get out of there quite quickly. |

She turned back towards Jake as he spoke. Looking up and away, Rina thought about it. "...True..." she blinked. ...He did make a good point: she figured it would be nice to avoid any potential rioting from people simply listening in on their conversation. The fewer that could hear them, the better. And as far as the blue-eyed redhead was concerned, Kiseiko, the ice cream shoppe's resident employee, wasn't anyone to worry about, in that regard. the teen girl nodded in agreement, thinking that a change in locale(gr?) would be for the best. "...Okay. Then I... guess we're off...?" |

(OOC: I think the word you were looking for was location.) Jake let out a great sigh as he was happy they were leaving. "Oh thank you." he said in a breath as he looked around the facility one final time. More people began to laugh after never taking their eyes off of Jake. A couple of rude remarks from a couple of people in there made Jake stare at them. "I can't stand some of the people here." he said to himself as he wanted to go over and punch them in their faces. However, he was in the presence of a lovely lady near him so he decided to restrain himself while she was near him as he really wanted this to happen. Since he figured that she would run away from him if he did anything he wanted to currently, he decided to ignore the remarks and turn around. "Alright, lets go." he said as he opened the door correctly and walked out. (To: Lunch Time Talking: Part 2) |

Rina followed behind, still hearing the sounds of laughter in the background. Was Jake's crash really that funny, or was it simply that it maintained its humor through conversation? She wouldn't know, either way. [To: "Lunch Time Talking: Part 2"] |
