Who here is going to the next Shonen Jump tournament next weekend? This is going to be my first due to UDE not being nice to us people living in the North East. This one is probably going to be one of the biggest SJCs and I was thinking that I could meet some of you there in real life. I say that we should post our real names on here in case we meet if we do. My real name is Jeff Falberg and I am probably the only one who has the balls to play DDT at a SJC. |

I guess no one posted in the topic  I won't be active this whole weekend since I will be over at Philly for the SJC. I will be sure to report events that happened when I return. If all goes well, I can really surprise the YuGiOh Community. |

I trust every member on this board  Anyways, I am back from SJC Philly. I started out great but ended up with a 5-4 record in the end (10 rounds total). There was a lot of shit going on such as a CornMonarch deck being able to top deck Crush Card first turn two games in a row while I was unaware that Crush only looked at the next 2 cards you drew. I also ran into a friend's deck that mained Anti-Spell Fragrance into their Gladiator Beast deck, which was greatly devastating. I also lost to a some Gadget deck because I had a bad hand in game 3 when they played Banisher first turn. Then I came in some really bad luck against a Lightsworn deck. But I don't regret my trip over to the Shonen even though I almost lost my $100 TI-84 calculator. I had a fun time and was with my friends. The best record among my friends was a 7-3 record, even the pros from my state dropped earlier through the tournament. I hope that I do better next time at a SJC. |
