Just a few passing remarks: In regards to your comment about keeping our complaints limited to current staff, I can't agree to that. The only thing that happened was your addition, and Tony and Dani changing position. Not much of anything changed, other than the name that is the "face" of our board. Your plots mean something to you. They included all of, what? Rina, Douken, and Kai? Vandy's may be a character plot for Drakow and Z, but Vandy's plot was open enough that it allowed others to be incorporated into it. The base plot is a character plot for someone, but it is flexible enough to allow for character development subplots to occur. The fact of the matter is that, without a main plot to guide the flow of the RP, the subplots are just meaningless to anyone who isn't in them. While Vandy's plot may be something designed for his character, it gave some guidance; a direction for where our characters are going, and that can create a more intriguing situation, as it allows us to decide how our characters are getting from A to B. You may be content with your plots, and how you put your heart into them, but I, and the rest of the people who weren't involved, which was the majority of the board, couldn't care less. It does nothing for our characters, other than maybe gives them something to be aware of. We don't need you to run every major change by the members, we want EVERYTHING run by us. We don't want the staff to critique an idea to a point where it's airtight. What would be a much more sufficient idea is that, instead of the staff posting, "Hey, we should change the settings of RPs. Lets discuss how to do it." in a secret forum, it should be posted openly in the public for the member base as a whole to be able to critique. It is a lot easier to be creative with a loosely structured outline than it is to be with an idea that has already been refined, and refined, and refined. The staff forum should be used for exam questions, and punishment matters. Nothing else. Anything else should be posted in the Forum Feedback, or Role Play Discussion forums, or one of the other appropriate forums. If that were done, not only would there be nothing to complain about, the idea as a whole would have the potential to be infinitely better refined than if done by the select few in the staff. In regards to my discussion with Billie, had Dani asked in this topic for an explanation, rather than asking on the chat when this topic hadn't been posted yet, then she would have gotten one. Hell, if she had asked in here, I probably would've contacted her via AIM, much like I did with Billie, and would have stated my case there. This topic was meant to garner the support of members to force a reelection due to the inadequacies that are being shown by staff, not to give trial to Dani. If you guys wanted to have your cases presented against you, then you should have requested it, rather than waiting for Vandy to post his original post. That's really all there is to that. By ignoring this topic, you demonstrated a lack of concern for member opinion, and in general made yourself look like poor staff members. As for Danielle apologizing... On a much larger scale, if Hitler had not killed himself, and had instead apologized, would we have put him back in control of Germany? Well, I really don't think that's the case. One stupid mistake is enough to turn people against you in regards to a position of authority. That was enough to turn us against her, and it can't just be dismissed with an apology. Please don't try and wave it away just by saying, "Well she apologized, so bringing it up isn't doing anything." It's complete idiocy to assume that just because something was apologized for that it will be forgotten and not used as evidence against the accused. Edited by Rounin Nagasaki, Nov 6 2009, 11:25 PM.

Eh, I'm only kind of skimming this topic because most of my thoughts have already been said by other people in this topic but... Did you really just compare Danielle to Hitler? Like... really? <_< Edit, just cause:
We were informed you had expressed an interest in forming a plot. Other then that we were left mostly in the dark. I did post the basic outline you had provided, and I do recall tossing around ideas with you in PMs and the chat, such as fepic battle between the BoEaS and The Syndicate, but that occurs all the way at the end and as such has little to do with the current state of the RP. Furthermore, since nothing of that was concrete, as well as you seemingly not feeling too interested in it, as well as it being more of a kind of "surprise"-ish topic, coming right the hell out of left field, it didn't seem all that necessary to inform most of the staff. ... After about 2 weeks with little progress from the staff so far on a plethora of topics, I think we all have a decent-ish idea of what the current staff is capable of, and as such I believe we should push forward. |

So I second the choice of the poll.. if it isn't already made, might not really work out but it beats nothing ^_^;. Again yeah, don't diss Vandy's plot... It's pretty much the only thing I've never noticed going on since I got here.. besides those Epic Tournaments outside of the RP. So far it's doing pretty good, it's given a chance for many characters to become known >> Reading all the small private plots isn't very practical for that. Can't say much about the private forum... It's always an useful place... Then again I haven't been in many forums that need so little control regarding the users... Announcing how things are coming along seems good enough. Finally, ignoring this topic isn't going to bring anything good.. Then again it's probably being dicussed in private. Just be sure that the people here are going to do something about this, that can't be helped~ |

It is time to give the staff something they cannot simply ignore in hopes that Team J.J. The Judgment Train would slow down to an eventual halt. We will continue to steamroll our way through this battle until we get our re-election. A new topic will be created with the poll system in place. I can't seem to remove the edit bar at the bottom of my post. I'm not even going to start on how incompetent the staff are at such a simple task. Fix it immediately. |

This is the status of the suggestions that were put forth. Punishment This was supported by one member only. Two members dissented. I don't think we can do anything about this issue. Advertising The tournament idea was re-presented, and it still doesn't have the support of the members. All Exam Stuff: Rina was working on making a revised poll but no one agreed with her on the revised questions. Tournaments Prizes and etc fall under the jurisdiction of the tournament organizer, not the Staff. As for site graphics if we hold a major tournament, there was disagreement over who would make the graphics. Chat Mods A consensus on mod selection was not reached. Vector'd I'm not sure if Dani has resolved this or not. Last thing in the thread was "should we give Kai temporary access to do it, since he already knows how?" but few people provided any input on the matter. Member of the Month It's not the end of the month yet, so it hasn't been implemented. Plot Board: Dani's the only one who can make it. Arcade As I understand it, Kai was going to upload one. Filters Since Billie voted for the wrong choice, the filters are being maintained. Invisible Edits Aside from the latest complication, invisible edits were given to everyone outside of profile areas. |
