kk. So, you see, we as a collective of members have decided that our staff now is piss poor. The names of the members shall be listed below, and shall number at more than NOU. kk? kk.

Now then, since that's out of the way, let me dig into the meat of the issue. Well, or not. I really don't feel like it right now. However, our group has decided that we would like to remove Dani, and potentially Aoi and Tony from their respective seats of staff. This is not a decision that we, as both members of this board, and human beings take lightly. We have put much thought into this matter, and have, as a whole, come to the conclusion that staff needs revamping. Not one new face, and a position swap. A fresh look, a total face turn, and as such, we have sought out support, which numbers at, six at the moment, and potentially more, depending on the reactions from others. Thus far, group is, as follows:

Chase
Gouki
Vandy
JeY
Sean
Rou

Post your agreements, and disagreements here. kk? kk.

I am in agreement of a new face of staff due to the recent circumstances AND the poor choices the staff has made.

Err... why are we evicting them exactly? Why is Danielle a "definite" while Rina is only a "possibility", despite the fact that the Rina's been around longer, if the issue is really about seeing new faces?

Secondly, your list of potential new candidates has people of questionable quality. I mean, I think I would only consider Vandy and possibly Gouki, and even then I wouldn't consider either of them over Dan, Aoi, or Rin. Not trying to get personal or whatever here.

Now now, where's your spirit of debate? ^ ^ Is that how it's gonna be when it comes time for actual and factual work on this site?

"It's uh.. Tuesday. Day 3 I guess. 65 degrees... Celsius... Carry on! *flees!*"

If you want to get the support of members, I think it would be best to present your argument in a logical way. After all, simply having a reason isn't good enough. "Rina shouldn't be admin because she's black IRL and I'm really really racist" is... technically a reason, but it's not however a good reason.

I believe there are two main factors that the staff has been extremely poor in resolving. The first is the topic in regards to invisible editing and the second is having a decent, fulfilling plotline for a large amount of characters to have the opportunity to role play in. There are other issues which will be addressed afterwards.

Invisible Editing: It has taken the staff over two weeks and still there is no resolution of the issue. This is utterly pathetic. This should have been resolved in a matter of days, not weeks. Your paranoia due to some other forum being affected by invisible editing abuse is void. Too many variables. Different people, different atmosphere / environment. Those two factors alone make any comparisons between forums rather foolish because of the huge variability in the two factors. As a staff, your lack of faith in the member base is horrendously unacceptable in regards to this issue. I seriously cannot believe you, yes you Danielle, would agree to a trial basis and then without warning, throw in a 20 minute time frame for invisible edits. That is ridiculously absurd and as your rival, I am disappointed that you would pull a stunt like that on the member base, especially without a pre-emptive warning. Absolutely ridiculous. How disgraceful.

Decent plotlines: Months. For months this forum has been trudging along the City Arc without any real purpose. I see all of these character development topics and it disgusts me. A character development topic purely for the sake of character development is a concept I consider to be a waste of time for the most part. Character development can be attained in any topic, so it might as well be in a topic which serves a greater purpose than merely filler for the arc. The staff has done practically nothing to remedy this situation as far as I am aware. You already know who is responsible for attempting to pull off a decent plotline for this arc.

That’s right. It was me. I was the one who eventually decided to do something about the pointlessness of this arc. I should not have been the one to take initiative here. It is primarily the staff’s responsibility to ensure that there are activities for people to do in the role play. Do you want to know a main reason why this forum was so low on activity before I decided to take action? It is because there was little point in role playing at Crimson Wind Academy. Just look what happened shortly after I gained a bit of momentum with my plotline. People began returning to Crimson Wind Academy. First it was Xenneth who I managed to captivate his interest for a short period of time at least, then eventually Sean came back to role play again and Rounin returned too. As staff, one of you should have tried to get the members to come up with an interesting plot for the city arc, or one of you should have created one yourself and implemented it sooner instead of waiting and letting the role play fall into such a pitiful, rotting state. Danielle, you should have contacted me sooner about what was going on with my plot idea during the weeks and weeks of filler. Perhaps as the plot architect I am liable to get things moving with my own initiative, but as staff, you must take charge and get a plotline sorted out for the members, and that has a greater precedence than my own initiative.

Another point of interest is the lack of real reaction, and debate in the sudden explosion of suggestion topics. Some have garnered a bit of attention from the staff, and while we understand that it is only day one since the topics were posted, more than once, a one to two sentence reply was given that essentially said the idea wasn't supported by the staff without any reasons given. The point of the topics posted was to offer ideas to make the board more enjoyable for all, yet staff seem content to simply shoot down ideas without even attempting to offer compromises, or even attempting to truly understand the ideals that have been presented.

Furthermore, another issue that should be addressed is something that may not be considered an issue by most, but it is something that can very easily be viewed as troubling. The issue that we’re speaking of is in regards to the moving of topics from the staff forum, to the forum feedback section of the board, to respond to topics that had been posted. While this isn't necessarily such a horrible thing, it is troubling that the staff has such things posted in a hidden forum where only they can see the subject material. The matters posted were matters of public concern, not private, nor anything that should be hidden from other members, such as punishment, or question pools for the test. These were simply matters that should have been posted in the Role Play discussion, or Forum Feedback section, and were instead posted in an unnecessarily private forum. Thus, the staff forum is being abused for discussions of things that should be kept open between the members and the staff.

I have a complaint aimed just at you Danielle. Do you remember the manner in which you dealt with Billie in regards to the “Refuge” topic? If I recall correctly, you claimed that you deliberately banned her from the chat WITHOUT WARNING in order to prompt her to role play with you in that topic. Do you honestly believe you can go around doing things without forewarning other people? First, you threw in the 20 minute time frame for invisible post editing and now you temporarily banned a member from the chat box because you thought that would make her focus more on role playing. And of course, that did not work out. Why the bloody hell would you think that would work? What was going through that head of yours when you did that? Obviously that would just provoke Billie and make her even less inclined to role play with you. Afterwards, an argument IN THE AFOREMENTIONED ROLE PLAY TOPIC between Billie and Danielle took place. This argument lasted for roughly 10 posts altogether. I HAD TO COME IN AND TELL THEM BOTH TO CUT IT OUT. That’s right. Me. As an administrator of this forum, learn to swallow your damn pride. I should NOT have had to intervene in that manner. I am absolutely revolted in your current behaviour Danielle. Your ability to perform as an administrator has been completely atrocious lately.

Finally the lack of staff reaction, either positive or negative, to a GROUP of members expressing concern in the competence of the staff is unacceptable. The group consisted of a substantial enough number of our active member base to show that said competencies were in doubt, and you, as staff have a responsibility to step in and address the concerns of the members, either by alleviating said concerns, or by presenting a counter argument. Neither was done in this instance, despite the numbers of the group spanning a decent sized portion of our active member base. Do you really think you can undermine us? Did you honestly believe you could ignore us in some false hope that we would let it slide and forget about our argument? Well, you are dead wrong. It seems that the staff is outrageously poor at making swift, quality decisions and there appears to be a lack of trust between the staff and its members. We believe immediate action is required to rectify this less than ideal situation. Do not sit there reading this topic and ignore it like you all did last time. You would be blatant fools to disregard us now.
