Both players drew their cards, the agent commanding to the take first move by drawing. Agent μ activates Foolish Burial and dispose of Treeborn frog in her deck. She then plays Allure of darkness, drawing 2 and RFG'ing a Goblin Zombie. She Normal summons Mezuki and ends her turn. Jason draws and sets 2 face-down spell/traps before ending his turn. The agent Draws and uses Mystical Space Typhoon on Jason's face-down Defense Draw. Mezuki then attacks directly for 1700. Turn End. Jason draws, then plays Magical Mallet: Tradign Tribute to the Doomed and Megarock Dragon for two draws. he set another 2 face-down spell/traps and end turn. On her turn, the Agent normal summons Elemental Hero Stratos, who promptly gets removed by a Bottomless Trap hole. His effect, however, activates, and Agent μ recruits a Destiny Hero - Plasma into her hand. Mezuki attacks directly for another 1700. Agent μ draws and quickly sets a Face-down spell/trap and attacks directly with Mezuki for the third time. Jason draws, he ends turn at that point. Agent μ sets another spell/trap and attacks directly with Mezuki, this time Meeting a "Negate Attack" from Jason. End Turn. Jason once again chooses to pass his turn.(Horrible draws I guess) The Agent normal summons Spirit Reaper on her turn, attacking with both monster for 2000 and dropping Jason's LP to 900. He discards at Random a Megarock Dragon to Sprit Reaper's effect. Jason sets another face-down on his turn and activates Tribute to the Doomed, discarding Granmarg the Rock Monarch to destroy Mezuki. He then summons Megarock dragon from his hand at 1400Atk. The agent responds with Solemn Judgement, paying 4000 (Trying to end this), killing Megarock. The Agent once again draws, activating her Face-Down Call of the Haunted during the draw phase and special summoning Mezuki. Jason flips Torrential Tribute in response, clearing the Agent of her monsters. Coming the standby phase she special summons Treeborn Frog from the graveyard and activates Fiend's Sanctuary, sacrificing her new Token and Frog to summon "Despair From the Dark" who was met with Solemn Judgement, dropping his LP to 450 and killing it. Using the effect of the recently killed Mezuki, the Agent revives the recently killed Despair from the dark.. who is then met with Bottomless Trap hole, leaving her empty of field. Turn End ----------------------------------------------- The agent stood there and glared at her opponent as she ended her turn while possessing no field whatsoever. She knew that Jason had nothing in his hand that he could use at the moment, and even if he drew a monster on his next turn it would be completely impossible to finish her remaining 4000 Life Points, no such combo could exist in the dueling world... He had no chance, while on the other hand, she possessed a rather healthy hand, confident in being completely capable of finishing the duel on her next chance. A light smirk sprawled across her lips, but it was near impossible to tell that away in the deep darkness that embraced the duel arena, the blue torches being naught but inneffective of lighting up a considerable space. [Jason: 450] Jason felt lucky to had lived this far. For the longest time, he only had spells, traps, or Megarocks. To have lived to this point was pretty amazing. He almost felt like a main character; taking everything this pro was throwing at him and having a counter for it. Tribute for the CotH, Solemn for the first Despair, and Bottemless for the recursion. However, now his field was empty, and his hand wasn't looking much better. Jason desparately needed one more miracle draw. He closed his eyes and quietly mumbled "Deck, don't fail me now," reaching for what hopefully wasn't his last card. Grand Mole would have been passable. Morphing Jar would have been great because he'd then have options. His draw wasn't nearly as stellar, though... "I place one monster in defense mode and end my turn..." was all he could say. At least it was his first normal summon/set for the game. ((OOC: I'mma let you finish... no, I'm not going Kanye, I just think it's more appropriate for you to.)) |

OOC: Oh sorry, didn't know you had posted this when I wrote the PM, I get it now~ Agent MU: 4000 Quietly assessing the situation, Agent μ carefully and slowly analyzed her opponent in hopes of predicting what his face-down monster could be. Even since the moment he had drawn that last card, she had been focused on preparing herself for what could be lurking under that piece of cardboard lying sideways upon the opponent's side of the field. Considering that Jason was playing a rock deck, many possible monsters could exist face-down, usually with dangerous flip effects that could disrupt any big monster she summoned on her following turn to try and attack; specially dangerous was the Legendary Jujitsu Master who could counter hey key card. Deciding to proceed on her planning only after she had seen her draw, she did so, action which immediately caused the female agent to chuckle lightly and in silence. Her new card was "Soul Exchange", it was the key to her imminent victory, the duel was pretty much over now. Coming her Main Phase she confidently activated another copy of "Fiend's Sanctuary". Summoning a Token to her side of the field. usually these tokens were immediately used as tribute fodder for an advanced summon, and this was the case this time.
Following the previous spell, she follows by activating another card, Book of Life, using it to revive her Spirit Reaper and removing the recently destroyed Megarock Dragon along with that.
She now had 2 monsters on her side of the field and 3 cards on her hand, most likely she was ready for a tribute summon of something that could end this duel (Such as anything with trample). Shortly thereafter she played her recently drawn Soul Exchange, move which would appear completely unnecessary considering she already had enough monsters for nearly any tribute summon (None of which would really allow her to finish the duel now if she didn't tribute it, plus, she had no battle phase). Spirit Reaper, Metal Fiend Token and Face-Down Legendary Jujitsu Master all dissipated into many small particles of light that flew and gathered onto the center of her playing field; the particles were quickly consumed into the darkness of the room, in fact the entire arena seemed completely shrouded in infinite reaching shadows; the lights of the torches were nowhere to be seen and the physical boundaries surrounding them seemed to be gone... At the time there was nothing except Agent MU and Jason, but not for long. The agent swiftly lays her new monster on the field:
The gigantic blue-ish colored titan opened it's way through the darkness, standing mighty as the only card in the entire dueling field. The sight of this legendary monster was very threatening and it's presence was so powerful that i seemed to shake the very fabric of reality. Standing what seemed to be 60ft tall, it's mighty fist appeared ready to crush all opposition. Regretfully, Agent μ could not attack this turn and thus Jason wouldn't be defeated just yet... But she knew it was over, short of a miracle, the boy had no chance of victory whatsoever. Gently, she licked her own pale lips and glared fiercely at the Slifer Red boy. Agent μ "You... Are... Dead..." |

So much for his line of defense. With one turn it was gone, and Jason needed one more card. And since Obelisk couldn't be targetted, there was really one way out: the Grand Mole. Jason knocked on the top of his duel disk and prayed for that miracle topdeck. It still probably wouldn't win it for him, but at the very least it'd delay the inevitable, what with Obelisk needing 3 tributes. He reached for his next card... ...Big Piece Golem. No good. Big Piece Golem can be normal summoned without a sacrifice, but not set. He was done. He summoned it just the same, though. After one quick card draw, the fabled Tormentor laid everything it had into the Golem (somewhere Joey and Tristan are calling "TOR-MENT!"), ending any chance of the Red's comeback. ((Shouldn't it be 7550, since I paid 450 for the Solemn?)) |
