[OOC: I just made this topic to speed things up, now I'll be handing the reins over to Gouki.]

After all the students and Miss Kim entered the elevator, it rose a couple of floors before stopping. The doors opened and team CWA entered the next room. This room’s temperature was lower than the previous room; enough so that people might get a slight chill. A blizzard like pattern covered the four walls of this room, shades of blues and whites danced across the surfaces. This room was also brighter than the previous room. Again, a ten metre gap separated the two sides of the room.

((OOC: If you want to send the last red "pawn," just know that I'm probably going to be unable to go until Saturday, or at least really late Friday night.))

Jason was feeling a lot better now that Gouki had given this mystery duelist a serious thrashing. He was definitely restored in his confidence. Sure, the duels weren't going to get easier, but the class had gotten through the first hump. Hopefully, this would instill some confidence in the other students as well.

After entering the cold room, he began to think about it. Perhaps there was some kind of pattern forming?

Introduction to Darkness

The interior was very different to the previous room. A paint job consisting of a cataclysmic swirl of dark purples, reds and blacks covered this room.

This duelist used a lot of dark-related cards: Van'Dalgyon, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, Dark Creator, etc. Perhaps this duelist ran under a more icy theme?

At the very least, though, Jason looked more ready than he had before. As the others began to file in, he gave his deck a quick shuffle and drew a sample hand, just to make sure he was ready. He didn't want a disaster of a draw like he did in his duel against Xaafiear.

The professional duelist on the opponent’s side was waiting for the students to arrive at the second state. His bright yellow irises examined the students who walked in and brandished his gunmetal duel disk shortly after. It was Wolf’s turn to play against the students for Overlord Z’s event.

“Congratulations on your first victory, Crimson Wind Academy. However two of your students are already on their lifelines from the previous match. Think wisely on who you will send to challenge me.”

Storm Wolf was interested in the potential that the students had that could lead them into the Pro Circuit like himself. He is determined to not disappoint his opponents or Overlord Z who hired him to be part of the event. The black-haired duelist continued to watch the students as he waits for them to choose a challenger.

The Demon of Hate looked at the second challenger in Overlord Z’s challenge with his blood-red eyes. Since both he and Wolf were played by the same writer, playing against the professional player would be really boring. It would be wise to let the other students take care of the opponent so that the fun can start after the students pass the current stage. The stage gave itself a freezing appearance compared to the darkness environment from the past stage where the opponent used a Dark Dragon deck. This would most likely means that a Water attribute deck was to be expected.

“I will let you all take this one because I refuse to play against someone who has the same writer as I! Now be sure to not humiliate yourself like the Osiris and the Obelisk student from the previous stage!”

It would also seem that the yellow-eyed opponent enjoys cold temperatures as it felt chilly inside the stage. This only supported the fact that Water was the deck the students would be fighting against. It was time for Gouki to kick back while his classmates duel against the current challenger. Hopefully he won’t have to step in due to everyone failing.

As Akane stepped into the room, the chill in the air hit her arms and legs quite fast. Naturally, she shivered at bit, being more exposed than her male counterparts. "Wh-what is this...??" she wondered in confusion. Seeing the second of trial ahead if them, seemingly unphased, she wondered how someone could truly enjoy this type of condition. ".... ...." Looking around, she noticed that not only was the temperature different, but so too was the design of the room. It didn't take too long for her to speculate on the pattern that seemed to be going.

Wolf addressed the party, and while he made note of Akane and Jey's lifelines, he appeared to be the type of duelist not to gloat or rudely remark on the negative details.

Wondering how Wolf would duel, Lex eyed the gunmetal duel disk from afar before joining the others to decide who would challenge the pro duelist.

He stepped out of the elevator that had appeared on the floor after their first opponent. Alistair had more or less ignored that guy, since he was all annoying with his overly theatrical bull****, and such. However, he had already decided he may as well get a game out of the way now so that he didn't have to play again for a little bit. After all, the other blue was already on his lifeline, why not play a game as well?

Alistair knew it may be unwise, since he was probably the only other person who could rival the yellow who had gotten past the first guy's level, but even so. Alistair was losing interest, and if he didn't do SOMETHING, then he was going to probably start hitting on the red girl, and he really didn't want that... Much. So, it was decided then, he would take part in this game, because it was the obvious cure to his boredom.

"Welp! Imma bored now. Watching is no fun, so, I guess I may as well give this one a go," said Alistair, pulling his disk out of his pack. He slid out a deck of cards as well, casually shuffling them about until they were all nice and random. He nonchalantly slid the disk onto his arm, and stepped forward with a dismissive sigh, as if he honestly didn't care too much for the game to come.

"Red girl! After this game, you're my new buddy for this trip, mmkay?" he said with a chuckle.

It would seem that one of the Obelisk students would like to be the first one to challenge the second stage. Storm Wolf’s deck was loaded in his duel disk’s Deck Zone.

“Prepare yourself; I will expect you to only show your best.”

Overlord Z wanted each stage to have their own unique music for each, so the yellow-eyed professional duelist raised his right hand to snap his fingers. Following the snapping noise, this music started to play. It was time for the first match in the second stage to commence.

"What...!?" was Akane's only response to the Obelisk. It could have been an innocent request, but the young woman didn't see it that way. For the most part, she didn't understand where Alistair's line of thought was coming from - she wasn't a mind reader - and she had no intention of blindly humoring him, despite being unable to avoid him in this place.

So as Alistair stepped up to the plate to cure his boredom, Akane decided to pay extra close attention to his game, believing he was enough of a man to give it all he had, at the very least, at the request of the pro duelist opponent.

And, just like that, yet another blue was quickly dispatched by Z's squadron. Despite how the entire ordeal was going, Jason couldn't help but chuckle; Akane had dealt more damage than he had. (Granted, it wasn't much more, but yeah it was the principle of the thing. Alistair's cockiness hadn't gotten him very far.) Jason had noticed the bored manner in which the blue had dueled, and he'd had enough. Did Jason have an inner fear? Sure. Was his deck absolutely trounced in his only duel with this version? Most definitely. Did he care? At this point, someone had to step up, and he felt like saving the last blue for now. Besides, the winning duelist from last time couldn't go because it would involve too much hax and breaking of the fourth wall.

Besides, this second duelist annoyed him. Not only did he have yellow eyes (Yellow eyes? Who has yellow eyes? </A Christmas Story reference>), but his writer used a color that was impossible to read on the particular forum skin Jason's writer used! One quick shuffle, and Jason's deck was placed in his DUEL DISK SYSTEM [trademark]. He wasn't entirely sure if he could beat this water warrior, but there was only one way to find out.

Jason's newly-found confidence probably shocked a few people, as just a few minutes ago he'd been close to wetting himself. He was ready to go, though, despite the inner fear. "That's it," he called out. "Time for me to step to the plate." However, one thing was holding him back...
