[OOC: The two duelists are still in the same room, but I will be creating seperate topics for each duel.] An automated dice roll was simulated between the two duel disks with Drakow's 4 beating Akane's 2. "Hmhmhm... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAA! I'll be going first!" Drakow drew his opening hand of 6 while Akane drew her 5. Drakow's opening turn consisted of him playing Allure of Darkness to remove his Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from hand. He then proceeded to set a card to each zone and passing the turn with 4 CIH. Play turned to Akane who set two support cards and passed. "That's a pretty pitiful first turn. But then what more could I honestly expect from a red coat?" Drakow drew his next card. "I reveal my face-down, Heavy Storm, like a fricking pro!" Akane chose to respond with Dark Bribe. "Heh. You better hope that your face-down is powerful enough to stop my oncoming assault" Drakow stated as he drew his additional card. "I flip summon Red-Eyes Wyvern. Now I follow up with a second copy from my hand!" "Both of my dragons attack you directly!" Both attacks made their mark, knocking Akane's life points down to 4400. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAAHHHAHHAHAHAA! I'll set 1 support to keep you on the back foot and end my turn. You should really forfeit now and spare yourself some embarrassment!"

Akane sneered, at his attacks. It was apparent he was running a Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon deck variant. And while she could have done something against the attacks she suffered, the Osiris amazon held off, planning an attack of sorts of her own. With a tattered grin, she said, "You're pretty considerate, aren't you...? Thank you, but," drawing to begin her turn, "I'd be more embarrassed if I gave up before getting started!" Glancing at the card, she began. "First, I bring out Vice Dragon from my hand in Defense Mode! I'm permitted to Special Summon it if I have no monsters on the field to fend off the ones you control."
[DEF: 1200] "This will allow me to remove my Vice Dragon from play, in order to Special Summon my own Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon!!" Slapping the card onto her disk, Akane triggered the solid vision system, creating an emmense golden light show as the black metal beast rose onto the field. After letting out a mighty cry, It hovered in front of the young woman, to the side.
A serious glare set itself on Akane's face. Taking all the damage she did early on wasn't expected, so she intended to fight back here and now. "I'm aiming for a bit of payback, so here it comes!" Raising her hand to her dragon, she stated, "I activate my dragon's effect! Since you use the same monster, I'm sure I don't have to explain it. That said," selecting a card from her hand, "I'll Special Summon another Red-Eyes to mirror your own:" It hit the field. "Red-Eyes Wyvern!" [LV4 -- ATK: 1800] "He has 1 card face-down. I should be able to handle that with what I set earlier. I still haven't Normal Summoned a monster, yet, so if they both get taken out, somehow, I can activate Wyvern's effect in the Graveyard, so it won't be as huge a loss. .... I don't want to lose any monsters yet, and 2 enemy Wyverns in Attack Mode could be a problem. If he puts a darkness metal dragon in the graveyard, next turn, he can bring his out as well.... ...But I still have the upper hand as long as he doesn't destroy my monsters with card effects. ...If I can maintain my presence, I can pull off a victory." She pointed forward, towards the formerly face-down wyvern in enemy territory. "Battle: Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, destroy that Red-Eyes Wyvern!" As the attack went through, Akane's focus was on the possible results of the next attack.
".... .... ...." She nodded to herself, making a decision. "Face-down card: Enemy Controller!" she announced, activating the Quickplay spell card. She declared the battle position effect to be utilized, switching her opponent's remaining Red-Eyes Wyvern to Defense Mode.
[DEF: 1600] "Now! Wyvern attacks Wyvern" destroying it, leaving the opponent without a monster to call his own. "...He didn't activate it. Alright, then... I wonder what that support card is...." "Main Phase 2: I'll set 1 card face-down," adding a support card to the field to replace the last one that was used. "Hm..." "I'm finished with my turn."

. . . "HOW DARE YOU USE THAT MONSTER AGAINST ME. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE RUNNING THE SAME CARDS AS I AM! I'LL SHOW YOU! I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT A DRAGON MASTER CAN DO!" Drakow ripped the top card from his deck and placed it in his hand. "First up, I play Hidden Armory!" Drakow discarded Dark Bribe from the top of his deck and added Different Dimension Reincarnation to his hand. "I activate the mind manipulating spell, Brain Control!" "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, RETURN TO YOUR TRUE MASTER!" A pair of green hands stretched out from the Brain Control spell and grabbed hold of REDMD after which the dragon was taken to Drakow's side of the field. "I activate the effect of Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to revive my Red-Eyes Wyvern!" The Wyvern was revived but then Akane responded with Bottomless Trap Hole! “HAHAHAHHAHHAHHAA! I PLAY MY TRAP, SOLEMN JUDGMENT!" "FEEL THE FEAR! I summon fourth the Devil King Dragon!" His free hand, extended outside the cloak momentarily holding a single card in his hand. Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord. His gloved hand returned inside the cloak as he slapped the card onto his Duel Disk. Moments later, the holographic ground split open and a ferocious looking black dragon rose from the darkest depths of hell. The ground resealed itself as the dragon took his position beside Drakow. "THAT'S NOT ALL RED COAT! WATCH IN ABSOLUTE DESPAIR AS YOUR LAST LINE OF DEFENSE IS OBLITERATED! VAN'DALGYON, DESTROY HER MONSTER WITH DARK SPARK!" A black, electrostatic, pulsing orb began to form within the Dark Dragon Lord's left palm. Once the diamater of the orb had reached a couple of meters, it was projected towards the Red-Eyes Wyvern. The Wyvern could do nothing as it was mericlessly electrocuted and the hologram blasted to pieces. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT!?! I'M NOT THROUGH WITH YOU YET! I discard The Dark Creator from my hand to play D.D.R. I will use this dimensional warping spell to revive my Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon!" Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon flew through the dimensional rip in the holographic realm and took its position in front of Van'Dalgyon, so that both REDMD were in front of the Dark Dragon Lord, to the sides. "I activate the effect of my dragon to bring back my second Wyvern!" Soon enough, Drakow commanded five dragons. "Just incase you have a Gorz as the last card in your hand, and the last card in your possession, I'll attack with a Wyvern first!" The attack was successful. "Hmhmhm . . . HMHMHM . . . HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA! Didn't put up much of a fight did you? I'll put you out of your misery now. Van'Dalgyon, annihilate her! DARK KING FUNERAL MARCH!" A beam of darkness erupted from the Dark Dragon Lord's mouth and violently exploded when it made contact with Akane.

The swipe and summons were incredibly fast. Effectively, Brain Control gave him 2 monsters, and Akane responding to the summon of Red-Eyes Wyvern sealed her fate as not only was her card negated, but Van'Dalgyon burst through her only remaining monster without the need for an actual battle. His field had burst open in mere seconds! "What!? From zero to five!?" Akane couldn't believe what she saw. "I've never seen anyone restock their entire field so effortlessly..." she said to herself. "Not even Nanayo could-- AAAGH!" Before she could continue her thoughts, a wyvern hologram rushed right through the raven-haired girl, causing her to flinch as though the attack was real enough to worry over collision. "I was totally ineffective...!" she muttered to herself, cringing and squinting. "...Who is that guy...!?" "...Is he a Pro...? ...---!!!" Her eyes dilated. The final attack exploded on impact, engulfing the Osiris. In a daze, Akane wondered to herself, "...Is this really... the power of a pro duelist...?" [LP: 0] The smoke simulation continued to surround her for another several seconds. As it dissipated, Akane was found on her hands and knees, knocked off-balance by the surprise laser beam and the following first-hand shock of 'being caught in an immense explosion'. She stared at the gap in the floor ahead of her, thinking of the gap in skill as if it were as easy to see. ".... ...." She exhaled, closing her eyes. Soon enough, she stood up, accepting defeat. She stared at her opponent once again. ".... ...." Instead of saying something to him... she turned her head to the side, yet still eyeing the duel's victor. "...I lost," she stated to everyone, with some strength in her voice, despite them seeing that result. "...Who's up next? Let's go." |
