Miss Kim stood behind the group, continuing to observe silently. They might be beginning to grasp the strategy here, she thought. Some of them are, at least. She took note of which students had correctly evaluated the situation. But her true focus was on the Overlord's duelist.

As before, Drakow collected, shuffled and placed his deck back into his Duel Disk, ready for his next opponent.

"Hmph. Your strategy clearly is not working! STOP WASTING MY TIME AND SEND OUT YOUR TOUGHEST DUELIST."

JeY is Sexy.
JeY was simply bewildered. He started with a bad hand, and even though he attempted to disrupt Drakow's strategy, he pulled an extremely amazing stream of cards from nowhere, and just sacked him without leaving him a fighting chance. He was certain in SOME sort of damage, due to the sheer amount of power his deck holds in potential, but luck simply light him on fire and stomped him out.

He retreated silently; he didn't deserve as badly as a lost. Either Drakow stacked, or his deck just had what would be known as its worst streak of luck. Well, hopefully it wouldn't get any worse...

The first opponent in Overlord Z’s challenge was a duelist who was completely covered in a disguise including the duel disk itself. This seemed ridiculous to Gouki as it must be hard to breath under that over exaggerated masking. Other than the player being extremely ugly, another reason is that the opponent wishes to not reveal themselves. Usually in fiction works, a challenger in disguise is someone that the characters already seen before. There were no leads as to who the students were playing against though.

The demon watched how pathetic the Osiris student was compared to the challenger as the Life Points were only dropped by 500 due to the Survival Mode rules. Next up was the Obelisk student known to Gouki as JeY Nakari who promised to be able to defeat the unknown duelist swiftly. The result was quite ironic due to him being defeated without being able to deal any damage at all. How embarrassing it must be to have a weaker performance than an Osiris student. The power displayed by the dragon duelist excited the red-eyed demon as he was anxious to go up next.

“You all are useless, especially you Obelisk! I find it really humorous as to how an Osiris duelist was able to do much better than you against the opponent! Since you all will end up like these two in shame, I will go up next so that we can finally pass to the next stage! This is obviously a very challenging opponent who I will take pleasure in beating the **** out of!”

Evil chuckling noses can be heard from the black-haired demon as he pulled out his jet-black duel disk from inside his jacket as he prepared to duel against the Darth Vader wannabe. The duel disk was attached to his arm before the deck was loaded into the Deck Zone. Gouki pointed at the masked foe with his left arm that had his duel disk attached to.

“I promise I will be a lot more entertaining than those failures before me. Since you are so impatient for Halloween, I will give you a trick early just for you!”

Throwing more pawns at the opponent will only be a waste of time for Gouki desired to be entertained by the opponents he was eager to fight against. The match will be a lot more entertaining than Gouki knows for his opponent would be his blind roommate. It was a rematch that both students were looking forward to.

So you came to challenge me then after all . . . I was wondering when you would come.

"Very well. I will hold you to your promise to make this match truly memorable!"

I can do this! I can definitely show Gouki how much I have improved since last time. I'm not allowed to take off my disguise though but perhaps things will work out one way or another . . . For the sake of overthrowing Z, I hope I lose soon. I cannot hold back though, as I am very certain Z is watching my every move . . .

The fated duel pitting the two members of the Dark Duo against each other, shall now begin!

[After Drakow VS Gouki]

Damn, I wouldn't have minded losing as much, but I didn't really put up much of a fight against my roommate. It can't be helped now.

Be careful what you wish for. Our deck responds to our feelings.

Yeah, I wanted to lose soon but at least I wanted to make it close. Although now that I think about it, I believe my true desire was to minimize the amount of energy drained for whatever Z wants it for.

Which is why you drew your poor hand.

I see. I also wanted to give my deck a good testing too. Which is why I didn't want to lose too soon.

This was your first test run with the deck. You have performed adequately enough. With more practice and my tutelage, your ability will only grow further. You no longer have any participation with this event. Let us leave.

A bridge wide enough for 5 people to walk side by side, connected itself to both sides of the room. The door behind Drakow opened to reveal an elevator.

"W-well done. I would have liked to have put up a tougher fight against you, but it can't be helped. Listen carefully students of Crimson Wind Academy. You will all need to step up your game if you want to have even the slightest bit of hope against the remaining duelists."

The energy drained from Drakow was beginning to take its toll on him. Fortunately, Drakow has experienced the sensation of having his energy drained before and has somewhat grown accustomed to it. He turned around and walked into the elevator which would take him to a floor where he could return to his room, as instructed by Overlord Z. After he grabbed his belongings, he was free to do as he wished. A few minutes passed and the elevator returned, which would take CWA to their next challenge.

Sean smiled, victory was well earned on Gouki's behalf. It seemed that he was thinking out his plays carefully now. He was impressed to say the least. "Well done Gouki, it seems we can head to the next room now" he said with a smile before walking ahead of everyone else into the next room. "Come on, let's see who the next big and bad duelist is."
