After leaving the spa, the two had a little conversation as they walked down the streets to the nearby cafe. Some of it was what they did when they had free time, making fun of the teachers, and telling each other some small stories of their time here. 'There it is," he said, pointing it out when they were only a block away. "Race you there," he told her and began to run for it. |

"Eh!?" Douken's sudden challenge caught Rose off guard. Douken dashed off, and she knew that she had to act fast if she had any hope of beating him there. "No, you don't!" she said, sprinting after him. Unfortunately for him, she was not weighed down by any duel disk. |

With Douken's father's work and assisting him, he got used to having the extra weight of the duel disk on his arm. Sometimes, it would actually feel too light without it on. Besides, it was only a couple extra pounds. Not a drastic change to mess with his speed too much. Besides, by catching her off guard like that, he was able to reach the door a second before she did, laughing when he got there and saying, "What took you so long?" and opened the door, holding it open for her. |

Rose giggled, but did not answer his question. She walked through the open door, commenting, "Oh! A gentleman!" She looked back at him over her shoulder as she entered. "And will the gentleman be paying for my meal, too?" |

"Is that a way of saying all you had was the hot spring?" he laughed. "Don't worry, as long as we don't go over $20, which I doubt we will, we will be fine." After she entered, he followed, closing the door behind them and took a glance at the menu. "See anything interesting you?" he asked. |

Rose took a seat at an empty table. "I really think a BLT sounds good today! And something to drink, of course. Some kind of coffee, maybe?" She looked back over to Douken, to see what his response would be. |

Douken nodded, saying, "That does sound good. Just no mayo for me." Everyone has their dislikes in tastes. Mayo was one of his. "And for a drink, I would rather have a Dr. Pepper." He stood next to her since there was no waiter to come to them. It was more of a style of a fast food joint. "So is that what you want?" |

"Alright, hold on," he told her, heading off to make the order. It took a few minutes, but when the food was finished, he took it and brought it over to the spot she saved and placed her plate and cup in front of her. "There ya go," he said with a smile. |

"Why, thank you," Rose said as she accepted her plate and coffee cup. She smiled but did not start eating yet. "So, I think we were still talking about Miss Kim?" she asked, trying to continue their prior conversation. |
