Aoi's head snapped up as she heard Rina's last few words. She looked slightly surprised. "W-... what?" She bit her lip, thinking hard, but nothing came. Her eyes went to Rina's, confused. She had not yet heard of the circumstances surrounding the accident. |

((OOC: Based on what we talked about, I'm adjusting my previous IC post to the following. It will remain in tact enough to keep your post as is, having it follow this one.)) Reposted and Adjusted IC: Rina's eyes opened somewhat slowly as Aoi began to speak. She listened to her friend's wish, and after a brief pause, possibly surprise, she smiled softly - a bit softer than before. "...That takes time, too..., and experience. .... ...But you know... you're plently strong, already...." She inhaled and exhaled, slowly blinking before continuing. "...It takes a lot... to put one's own life in danger... for someone else's sake." ((OOC2: You can edit your original / this repost, if you want.)) NEW IC: A cherry scent filled the air around them. It appeared as though Rina was getting sleepy, but was attempting to resist the body's will to do so. "Y'er strong...." Her breathing, and her eyelids, were quickly becoming heavier as time passed; she was slowly zoning out of the conversation, staring blankly at the 1.12-magnified, pixelated, and blurred image of the girl in front of her. Laying down on her side made it much more difficult to resist, but she didn't have the energy to sit up, and the numbing feeling in her head continued to grow. Her eyesight was going. ...She couldn't hold it back much longer. She didn't want to worry Aoi with her contact-caused fainting spell. So, with whatever energy she had left in her, she rested her head, weakly tapped her friends back with one of her arms that was wrapped around the girl, and whispered (said aloud with very little energy), hardly moving her lips, inhaling and exhaling when possible, "..Fay'n'tin.... .... ...Ress'sing...." Obviously, she was too out of it to simply say that she was sleeping. It was another several seconds before the redhead was out like a light, but still breathing. Aoi was still on top of Rina's right arm, and the left arm was around Aoi, as well. |

A very confused Aoi pulled on Rina's back in surprise. She could barely make out Rina's words, but it seemed that Rina was suddenly very tired. "H-Hey, what are you..." She watched Rina's eyes close and tried her best to shake her gently. It didn't seem to be working at all. Rina continued to drift off. "Rina! Don't--" She forgot her tears momentarily, a hint of pink rising in her cheeks. She let go of Rina and pulled back her own arm, shifting her body around a little. She sighed and slowly started to smile as another couple of tears found their way out of her eyes. "I... I really can't get up like this, Rina," she admitted in a whisper, more to herself than her incapacitated friend. She rested her head on the carpet. |
