It was just recently that I realized why I quit this god forsaken game in the first place It was that I was tired of getting fucking sacked ALL THE TIME. I just had a duel where, under THE PERFECT CIRCUMSTANCES I got mirror force used against me, then a call of the haunted equivalent to defend with a 4100 atk monster, then a perfectly topdecked lightning vortex. Then I was lucky enough to have topped a dark bribe to stop someone from using a monster reincarnation they topped for judgment dragon. But guess what. THEY DREW A FUCKING NOTHER ONE NEXT FUCKING TURN. I've never been so pissed off at a game except that last time I was pissed at this game. I was reminded of all the shit luck I get 24/7. I go into that duel thinking that I only need to win the first duel, because thats how I've done RP duels since I joined the site, but apparently not this time, so I get fucking sacked for an hour the last 2 games and lose. I expect a lot of comments such as "Why are you being so immature" and complaints of my language. But I dont really care at all. I had to miss my halo team's practice time for a tournament in the near future to play children's card games with a pair of assholes, and they wonder why I'm really angry and apathetic the last game. I dont know if this website will ever be open in my browser again, except when I cool off enough to come check some of the flames people are posting in this topic. I am officially retired from yugioh. My AIM is in my profile I'll gladly talk about not yugioh. If someone asks me to come back you will be ignored. Later children. |

So basically Lightlords made you quit? But I thought they aren't out yet, unless it was an OCG duel. I know someone in real life who quit after a Regional tournament but you quitting because of a casual duel? I guess I can tell you about my site that's still under hiatus that's planning it's own RP. Exactly what would you consider perfect circumstances? Attacking with a full field when the opponent has a set and there's no Mirror to be found in their grave? Could someone explain this to me? =/
I do that quite often meself. It's easy when you've got three Illusions to work with...so calling that a lucksack is hardly fair. The instant you see that first Lightlord you should be ready for hell...they've got BOATLOADS of nasty tricks like that.
This one sucks...but it's still part of the game. Such things happen. And how could you know it was a topdeck if they had the means to fuel it? Did you get a peek at their hand earlier?
Again, such scenarios are only to be expected. They do have three to work with after all. That Bribe may have helped them to it, too. Such is life. ;-( Sad to see you go...but if you must then best of luck to ye'. Don't see why you feel you need to just pack up and leave tho'. Edited by Demitri Reyveirnacus, Apr 27 2008, 10:08 AM.

I was actually pissed off the game once. And now you all think I'm going to put "But then I got better", but I won't. I understand where Kratos is coming from, though in a different way. In our area, alot of the judges were corrupt and would renforce rules that would benefit and help their friends. At first I didn't notice, not realising they were bending rules for me at a time, but then I gave up for a while. I came back, and realised everyone in the game were mainly assholes. I wouldn't get pissed off with the gameplay aspect of the game, but the people who play the game. |
