[Evening Day 14] [Open] It was another brisk evening that he managed to sneak out by himself. Though, he had some money to spend now, so he figured he'd go somewhere he's always wanted to at a time like this - the Starton Cafe. It had a brilliant atmosphere with low conversation, a variation of people, original beverage mixes, and a nighttime lighting unlike no other. This place seemed to imitate a studio at night, which is what he loved about it. He was sitting a solemn table by the window, gazing into the starry sky. The windows here extended pretty high, giving it a premier look in the day, needing hardly any light with the bright sun. Though, the impression of night definitely shone much better in the unique lighting of the place during a dark evening. There was hardly any noise, only chatter from two other couples sitting at tables opposite of the room, and the occasional, natural, and soft whirring of a machine. He sat with his frosty cup, occasionally sipping the delicious caramel mocha frappe. Edited by JeY Nakari, Sep 17 2009, 05:59 PM.

[OOC: Why does that post have "Joe" written all over it? o.o] It was a night like any other night. Rounin was out on the town while Shichiro sat at home watching the children. Although, without letting Rounin know, the boy actually had some plans for tonight. About an hour after Rounin leaving their hotel room, Shichiro made a bed for Ms. Penguin in the bathtub and tucked her in, allowing her to sleep while he went out on the town, too. His tag-a-long, Mr. Monkey hitched a ride on the giant's shoulder; They left the room. _________________________________ Opening the door to the Starton Cafe, the giant thought it was a rather quiet and seemed like a decent place to take a seat and get a load off; probably could of done that in the hotel room, but ah well. Taking a seat on the other end of the Cafe [Other end of where ever your character is at.] he picked up a menu and began to look it over. [OOC: Hell yeah! Horrible post! =D] |

[it's okay.] He glanced up from his lone table as the door opened, and in came someone... rather gigantic, in both height and mass (not width, however). He seemed rather casual, not self-conscious of his own physical abnormality over everyone else. But what he did see that was even MORE abnormal was... A little monkey, sitting on his shoulder. Judging by the appearance, and the way the monkey looked around, it was alive; and breathing. He first wondered what the hell he was doing with a monkey, giving it a strange look, though the man was unaware of his stare. The monkey, though, caught glimpse of his awkward face, and stared back; at least, until the man turned and sat down, picking up a menu. He realized he was staring, and his eyes quickly darted back to his drink. He took a shaky sip, and just wondered what a gynormous figure was doing with a pet monkey - in public, without some sort of restraint, no less. He tried not to look back, but he couldn't help but shoot quick glances every few seconds. His face seemed to beat red for a moment every time he did so. |

Scanning the menu several times, before making his choice; Shichiro had felt he was being looked at, stared at. Raising his head from the menu, looking around the almost-empty cafe, he spotted some kid that continued to glance over at himself and Mr. Monkey. "Hey, you." he called out the kid who continued to stare. "... Is there a problem?" |

He had been looking at his drink at the time, but shout from Kai chilled across his shoulders, and tensed him up. He had been caught; and he had nothing left but to reply to this guy. "I... uh." He started. He wasn't very good at dealing with people-related stress. "I find your monkey... interesting" He said. He dodged the word 'peculiar', as that might seem offensive. This was nothing like the night before - now someone was approaching him from his face, rather than hiding behind cover. Oh well, we'll just see what happens. |

Putting his menu down on the table, the Giant kept eye contact. " 'Interesting'?... What is so 'interesting' about him?" he asked. When he did, Mr. Monkey decided to jump from Kai's shoulder, onto the table before the both of them; he then pointed his finger dramatically at the kid, as the two awaited an answer. |

This was definitely one awkward situation. He guessed that Kai was just playing him, or something. He'd known larger guys to be more sarcastic. Or rather, anyone who was talking like that with the monkey doing a rather humorous gesture was sarcastic. Either way, he almost took the individual completely seriously, but he managed to prevent himself from tensing up. "You don't see monkeys here often?" He said, sounding like an answer to a question in question form. He couldn’t think of anything else that was better to say, anyway. He was completely taken off guard in the first place. He took a nervous sip of his drink, awaiting what the giant said next. His eye couldn’t be taken off the dramatically-pointing monkey, however… |

[ 'kay >_>] Suddenly, Ka was walking toward him. He quickly looked away, to the left and out of the window. He took an absent-minded sip of his drink. Now, Kai was there, and staring him down. He intended to find out what his problem was, if there was one. He really didn't intend to cause anything like this. "I was just commenting! I don't know..." He replied sharply, looking at him for a moment, then turning away. |
