[Day 14 - Afternoon]

Little Miss Sky was out and about taking more pictures with her digital camera. She already had taken a bunch of pictures at Kaiba Land, at the Mall, and at the Hotel. Today, she had gone to Transit Towers. While the Towers were an interesting building filled with lots of people, she'd come back and take pictures of it later-- probably at night. Right now, she was going to take advantage of the daylight and take pictures somewhere far away in the city.

Her destination? She didn't quite know yet. But she'd be taking the subway to get there. Sky took a picture from above the station, looking down at the people walking about and waiting for the next train. She smiled, and walked around some more, waiting for another perfect scene to appear before her camera lens.

The subway train rode along the tracks around the city from stop to stop, and Douken was curious on what was out there besides all of the places he had been, mainly the theme park and memorial park. Other than that, it was the typical site of his father's factory that he had seen, so we went to go exploring. Where at, he didn't know, but to him, that was the best part.

He looked out of his glasses frame with one active eye, pushing his glasses up with his left arm, armed with a duel disk just in case, and watched as the buildings moved away and came closer.

"She's already enjoying herself..." meanwhile, another was in the area, silently keeping an eye on the girl from a concrete post near the large subway route map, not too far away. She could notice Sky's smile as she roamed about. "...and we haven't even left the station yet."

Akane Tachimuka, clad in designer boots, blue jeans, a light, black jacket, and a white tee, sporting a "no love" picture. She could only stare at the girl from a distance, despite the fact that they came together - the tiniest of smiles on her face, as long as Sky was in sight.

The Osiris Amazon had no plans for the day and insisted on accompanying Sky, who was planning on venturing out alone, with no definitive location in mind. The dragonfly would not allow that to happen, knowingly. ...That aside, it was a change of pace for Akane, who wasn't really into photography or anything of the sort, not that she had anything against it, either. Seeing the things that Sky, her hotel roommate, found beautiful or amusing...: that, alone, was worth the trip, as they hadn't done too much together, since they arrived in the city of Silvershine.

With a black backpack over her right shoulder, and subway map in her left hand, she raised the occupied hand to view the time on her watch - a silver bracelet was wrapped lightly around her arm.

Catching Sky walking around some more, Akane followed her as Sky was falling out of Akane's peripheral vision. "Hey, don't go too far without me!" Was the smaller Osiris planning on capturing something here on her camera? ...Well, that was fine. Akane didn't intend on stopping Ms. Altrea-Blue. She just didn't want to lose sight of her; as long as Sky was in view, everything would be fine.

Sky turned around, hearing Akane's voice. She smiled playfully at the other girl, and brought her camera up. There was a bright flash directed Akane's way. Sky turned around and continued walking in the direction she had been going prior to Akane's interruption, albeit a tiny bit slower.

"Why of course! I know how to stay safe!"

A sudden pain shot through her body, as she remembered for an instant the lesson that had taught her to be careful even in public. She forced a smile, and quickly looked around for another picture to busy herself with taking.

The train slowed down to a stop at the next station, its doors opening letting a flood of passengers out at the stop. Adjusting his glasses, he sat in front of the doorway, looking at who was coming in, seeing the Amazon. He gave her a small wave, as if to say, "Good to see you again," as people started to board once more.

Akane simply blinked in response to the flash towards her - a slower blink than usual. She opened one eye as she listened to Sky assure her that she would be safe. "Hm." Independence; it was nice to hear, but words assured nothing, right now. 'Safety in numbers' was more reliable prevention in this case, according to the raven-haired girl.

The older Osiris glanced at her watch, which was above the silver bracelet on her arm. "...Well the train will be here soon. Don't go off too far."

....

When the train did begin to pull into the station, Akane called Sky to attention, if she wasn't already aware. It was time to board the train to who-knows-where for a lot of sightseeing and photo-ops. Swarms of people flooded out of the subway train, and as the teen began to enter, Akane heard a recognizable voice. She stood to the side of the doors, holding onto it for support while conversing, and peered inside, eventually finding the source right in front of her.

She blinked. "! Douken.... Nice to see you, as well," she greeted him, then took a moment to keep an eye on Sky before returning her gaze to the Osiris male as more people entered the train. "...This is an unexpected surprise; what are you doing out here?" Her other hand was on her hip.

Sky heard Akane's voice, and she turned to see the train coming into the station. Sky took a step away from the train, and dropped to one knee. The train came to a stop, and the camera had been raised. The doors opened, and the passengers began to disembark. Sky waited two seconds for the people to fill her future photo, then she pressed the shutter button on the camera.

Sky turned her camera so she could view her finished work. She smiled-- it had turned out nicely. Sky rose and scurried to where Akane was. Disregarding whatever conversation she might have been involved with, Sky tugged on Akane's jacket sleeve excitedly. She offered her an view of the screen.

"Akane! You have to see this!"

"To answer Akane's reply, he said, "My dad was busy with work and asked for me to deliver a package of parts to him. Since his factory was in town, and obviously he knew we were in town as well, I figured why not," he said, shrugging off the last part. It was no big deal delivering new hardware to him for what could be in future disks.

He watched as Sky went to interrupt her friend to see the picture and he gave out a laugh. "Is it great enough to interrupt a small conversation?' he said, laughing.

"I see," she responded to the fellow red-coat, just as Sky called to Akane to see what she took a picture of. After what Douken said to Sky, "? Let's see," Akane took a look at her photograph, shot at a low angle. To Akane, it was mildly interesting, for what it was, ...but not normally into such things, she didn't quite understand it. Was there supposed to be a hidden meaning behind it? Was it to express a fast-paced civilization? Akane had no idea, unable to casually see past the image of many people pouring out of a train.

"The departing crowd, is it? .... .... It's an interesting view..., but I don't quite understand the meaning of it...." The last of the entrants for the train were beginning to file in. "Does it represent something?

Sky turned to face the laughing boy. Her expression was dead serious. Her response was very matter-of-fact.

"It is quite an excellent photograph."

Sky turned back to Akane in order to gauge her reaction. She watched her expression intently. Akane appeared to be quite focused on the photo. It was provoking her thought-- in all likelihood. Sky waited to see how Akane would react further.

"The departing crowd, is it? .... .... It's an interesting view..., but I don't quite understand the meaning of it.... Does it represent something?"

Sky took a small step back from Akane. However, she found an opportunity to smile. She could explain it to the student council president and then she would be able to appreciate it also.

"Of course! Observe, how the setting is the subway of the Transit Towers. It is, as you may well know, an important hub in Silvershine City. And here, if you would see, the doors are opened on the train, and people have begun to move. They are in motion! Always! Every one of them is going somewhere and is on a journey! Some of them are getting off the train, while others are continuing on, and yet others are preparing to board! Every one of them has a story-- their own adventure, history, and excitement! Don't you find that fact just inspiring?"

Sky had brought both herself and her camera closer to Akane, in order to better point out the finer details in the small viewscreen. She paid no attention whatsoever to Douken or the train about to leave the station.
