I don't recall those exact words, however I've barely been gone 2 weeks and I'm off the staff job, yet Demitri's not been on in well over a fortnight and he gets to stay on as admin? |

The main reason was ultimately the fact that you suddenly left twice. The first time, I left it alone. By the way it was written, I figured you'd be back. But "leaving" so suddenly without a word wasn't nice (and since you claimed to have wanted to leave by your 4000th post, a heads up would have been nice... for what it's worth). The second time was (mildly) offensive, and again, without warning. You also said to be quitting something. If you were quitting: A) The site - Of course I'd de-mod you. B) Being a staff member - same thing. C1) Quit having to deal with [the stuff you mentioned] - If you aren't willing to deal with things, why keep you as a member of staff? The inactivity thing you mentioned is, in theory, easy to take care of. But even though I say that, I, personally, wouldn't go to someone else's site just to advertise - that's just not me. Everyone else can, if they wish - some even have done so, even recently. If it was THAT big of a concern to you, you should have just contacted us about it (and not let it go until we reach an absolute resolution). C2) If "C1" was under the condition of us showing that we care about it, as far as you were concerned, from when you left to... "B," or maybe even now, nothing's changed. I cannot speak for others, but I've always cared on the side, just not through actions unless absolutely necessary in my view, or unless someone wants to discuss a way to deal with getting more people here. Ultimately, I may have been wrong to de-mod you on those grounds (at the very least, I will apologize for being sudden about it - sorry about that [unless Dani let you know a few days beforehand]), but I'm certain that it was not completely unjust. If it was, guys, let me know, and I'll undo and greatly apologize for it. |
