Divine Knight of Shining Armour

[From: Nowhere] Well, this was it. Silvershine City. It didn't look much different than Seattle, where he had been a few times to visit relatives over on that side of the state, but it looked much different than the small town of Walla Walla, Washington where he'd spent his childhood days. Just about the most interesting things had been the university and the fact that his dad worked as a corrections officer at the Washington State Penitentiary. The trip from the Academy had been rather bland and he'd been excited to see a bigger city. He always enjoyed being able to get lost in a crowd, something that he hadn't been able to do in his hometown. There had been about a dozen kids in his class at school between the two combined grades and his sister, Lisa, had been one of them. He was here. Was anyone coming to meet him or would he be expected to find the hotel by himself? He only had his backpack and a small bag packed with some clothing and other necessities, so it wouldn't be too much to carry around with him. What were the other students from the Academy like? He'd received his dormitory information, but aside from the room number and name of the dorm, he knew little else. Maybe, just maybe if he stood here long enough, someone would show him the way. After all, he didn't want to get lost in the city, at least not yet. [To: Unknown] Edited by Keith Chandler, Aug 23 2009, 12:04 AM.
