Angel of Denial

Came from HERE The generic beep from a digital clock manifested itself, warning it's owner that a new hour had just begun. The woman, knowing very well what time it was currently, still felt an urge to glance at the number presented in it. Raising her left arm at shoulder height she glanced downwards at the amount presented upon her wrist, 9:00 It said. Michelle wouldn't help but to express a rather notorious frown upon her usually jolly expression, clearly she was not happy with how time had worked out for her; she began her trip a pair of hours ago and was considerably behind schedule by now... Finding the Hotel had been a much more difficult task than she had imagined, becoming lost once again proved to be a very nasty experience. A deep breath followed, finally giving her furious heartbeat a rest and as a result, calming down her entire system. Glancing at the time had now become a pointless task, as a glance forward would reveal; she had finally reached her destination. Right now "The Twelve Stars Hotel and Resort" Main entrance stood firmly in front of her, backed up by a huge sign with large colorful letters spelling out the name of said establishment, followed by the Twelve Stars logo which was presented no more than it's name, just twelve golden stars that required no further explanation to describe. Surrounding such jolly information was a large wall that completely blocked sight to the inside of the resort, thankfully there was a large arc shaped entrance which lead to the inside of the installation, more specifically; the main building where the lobby was located. After spending a few seconds in complete awe and frozen in place, The golden haired woman decided it was about time to enter and continue her mission; now the hard part would begin, though it seemed so easy on her mind considering all the troubles she had experienced in order to make it this far; that and she was a very positive person, so much that it could seem inhuman at time... yet it had always worked for her. Making her way across the aforementioned arc entrance she found herself following a small paved path surrounded by rather wide grass fields that lead straight forward into the first of the buildings. It was only by passing this small construction that one could reach all of the resort's features, such as large pools, luxurious spa's, glorious bedrooms and other things Michelle could not even imagine, enjoying the things that laid beyond those walls was but a dream for her... At least until she saved up enough for vacation. One of those automatic slide doors taunted Michelle to continue forward and into the lobby, which she complied to without much thought. It was a very wide place, with many areas branching out, even having stairs for a second floor that was home to rather mysterious things. The atmosphere upon entering felt also quite different; the air seemed thicker and more dense, probably due to the presence of pure oxygen being pumped into the ventilation, another thing was the temperature, it felt rather cool in comparison to the hellish heat from the outside; so fresh that it almost made her sweat completely disappear. Finally, there was a very light aroma, an enticing fragrance like those found at the major clothing stores; all of this elements made one feel like they were in a very luxurious place, Michelle herself couldn't help but to smile a little. Now that she had made her way into the hotel, her next task was to verify if her target, Gouki Shinoku was indeed taking residence within the hotel. It was probably going to be a easy task, it simply involved gaining access to the records of this institution, where the name would be easily tracked down; Michelle was also equipped with a rather recent photograph of the boy which would allow her easy identification. And so, Michelle made her way to a large counter which stood out clearly amongst the other things within sight. Several women wearing the employee uniform stood behind said construction as to attend the large inflow of visitors in the most efficient way. It took only a couple of seconds to reach that position, to where she would be quickly welcomed and offered help by one of those receptionists, it looked like information was going to be easy to obtain. They began talking, Michelle went straight to the point which caused the receptionist to become nervous, refusing to allow the blunt detective into such information; Michelle was expecting this to happen and simply smirked as she prepared to convince the other. Her right hand slipped into one of the pockets belonging to her dress shirt and pulled out what seemed to be a wallet. She extended her arm forward slightly and allowed the object to unfold, revealing a card with her name and picture which was clearly an identification, while the top half portrayed a shining gold police badge, not the local one, but it was still a powerful symbol of authority that could not be simply ignored. ~ Michelle ~ "This is official police Business~" She uttered the above in a rather Jolly tone, but it was more than enough to get what she required. |
