[Introducing Kai's new font color.] Well, instead of sitting in his room all night, Shichiro decided to head down to the hotel pool. Leaving Mr. Monkey in the hotel room, it seemed Mr. Monkey didn't wanna go, and had enough fun sitting and watching Cartoons. He's probably not going to miss out on much, though. Shichiro just wanted to go relax, and take some stress off his shoulders. Grabbing a towel out of the bathroom, Shichiro dressed in a black swimsuit, with purple designs on it and a black t-shirt, nothing special. Waving to Mr. Monkey as he exited the room, he shut the door and headed down the hallway. At the end of the hallway, was the elevator. Standing in front of said elevator, Shichiro reached over and pressed the button, calling the elevator to the second floor. Tapping his foot, awaiting for the elevator, he looked up and noticed the elevator was coming down. Most likely some random NPC students. The elevator arrived at Shichiro's floor, and the doors opened. It was just a man, with some room service on a cart, he nodded to Shichiro as the Gentle Giant let him by, then stepping into the elevator himself. Extending his right arm to press the "1st Floor" button, he did so and the doors shut. Horrible, I mean really horrible elevator music sounded, luckily Shichiro was only going down one floor, and not having to sit here and listen to this. The Elevator hit the ground floor, and the doors opened once more. Shichiro, stepping out began walking down the hallway of the first floor, heading towards the lounge area. Walking in, Shichiro walked over to a hotel direction center. You know, one of those big square things, that are usually in malls? Well, this hotel seems fancy enough to have one, so it does. Looking at the first floor's layout, he examined, looking for the inside pool, since it was rather windy on the outside. Finally, locating it on the layout, Shichiro headed in the direction of the inside pool. Arriving at the door to the pool, he opened it and smelt the chlorine. It seemed empty, not a soul in sight. Probably the best place to just relax, not having to hear Mr. Monkey's cartoons, and well, Rounin was apparently not in the room, so I wouldn't of had to hear him, he might of went to that Night Club, in town. Walking to pull side, there were some lounge chairs, Shichiro through his towel on the chair. Then, he pulled his black t-shirt over his head, revealing some of his scars, and his his toned torso. Popping his neck, he stepped into the pool. The water was warm, and felt good against his skin. Going into the deeper side of the pool, since the six foot just wasn't enough, Shichiro now stood in the eight foot, the pool went to about twelve, but eight was enough just to relax. Up against the wall of the pool, he stretched his arms out, to the left and right and kept them there. He closed his eyes, letting the warm water sink in and get some relaxation. Muttering to himself, "In before someone ruins it all." |

Rou smiled sweetly to the lady who was running the receptionist counter as he conversed with her to pass the time. He had decided woken up a bit earlier, and hadn't planned much to do yet. So, rather than stay in the room and potentially wake up Kai, he had decided that he would go and better acquaint himself with some of the people who worked around the place; people who may be able to help him out a little bit later, or even now, if he needed them to. He had come across the lovely young receptionist, Brianna while he had been wandering aimlessly about the hotel, looking for someone who could potentially help him out. When he had seen her, she hadn't appeared to be too interesting, other than the constant glances she shot at him that she thought he couldn't see. Rather than let the potential go to waste, Rou had wandered over to the young woman, and had struck up a conversation with the blonde. They had been talking for about ten or fifteen minutes about a number of things; music, restaurants, activities, and pretty much anything else that seemed interesting at the time. She seemed to have come to Silvershine to get away from some sort of home life problem, and had found some success with her job as a receptionist. Apparently she made a decent wage, and since she apparently had a college education, was more likely to be promoted to management before too long had passed. He ran his fingers through his long brown hair, his deep blue eyes staring intently into her light greens as she spoke, listening politely to what it was she said. She talked about how her favorite band was Metallica, but how her favorite song was 45 by Shinedown; how her favorite color was blue, and how her favorite food was bacon, and Rou took an instant liking to her. He was, after all, a pretty big fan of bacon himself, and Metallica and Shinedown were both among his favorite bands. However, he had to cut their conversation abruptly short when he noticed his giant of a room mate exiting the elevator. He wasn't sure how long he had been there, and when he looked up at the clock, he was a bit stunned to see that quite a bit of time had passed since the morning. He was sure he hadn't been standing here talking to the woman for more than a few minutes, though he supposed that it was possible. Or perhaps he had been wandering around the hotel longer than he had originally thought; either way, it appeared as if quite an amount of time had passed, and he was caught off guard as to just how late it had become. He had intended to go to the pool a bit later, which seemed to be his room mate's as well, judging by his attire. Granted, Kai was no Danielle or Nanayo, but among his friends, he was the one he was most likely to have fun with during a trip to the pool, so he shrugged and decided that he may as well join him. He smiled sweetly once again, and glanced across the counter at her with a smile. "So, when do you get off work? Would you like to come to the pool with me?" he asked with an innocent smile. He wasn't interested in her as more than a friend, but what harm could having some fun do? He wasn't going to flirt with her, so he wouldn't risk hurting her feelings if she happened upon the scene, something he definitely didn't want happening. He smiled, and awaited her response with a patient grin. "Um... I don't get off for another few hours.... I'm sorry. Maybe later, okay?" she asked with a disappointed smile, and hopeful look in her eyes. She appeared to be genuinely disappointed, and Rou regretted that she was upset by this. He shrugged inwardly, and nodded with a smile, accepting the slip of paper she scribbled something on, and sliding it into his pocket. "Later," he said walking off toward the pool area of the hotel. The glass door showed that only his colossus of a friend was currently occupying the pool. Rou walked into the male locker rooms, which had an entrance just before the pool area's. Rou stepped onto the tile floor, and slid off his shoes, his shirt, and his pants, and tossed them all into a random locker. He wasn't sure if there were assigned lockers, but his stuff would surely be there when he got back; Hell, if it wasn't, it wasn't like he had been carrying anything of real value on him anyway, other than Brianna's number. He then sauntered out of the locker room, and pushed open the glass door to the pool. As soon as he did so, the overwhelming scent of chlorine engulfed his nostrils. It was a pleasant scent, and invoked memories of summers long past. He smiled, and brought his hand to his stomach, where he scratched at his abs. His six pack was as pronounced as ever, as he had been devoting a bit more time to his core workout as of late. However, he had not been neglecting his arms, which bulged outward a good bit when he so much as bent his arm. He was getting a good deal stronger here lately, and was really moving forward toward his goals. The swimming trunks he had been wearing under his pants were a pleasant shade of dark blue, with white hemming the blue. The ties to his shorts-style trunks were also white, and the Speedo logo was plainly visible in the bottom left corner of the left side of the trunks. He yawned, and looked over to Kai, who appeared to have taken refuge on the far side of the pool, near the middle, where his monstrous feet couldn't quite touch bottom. Rou didn't really give it much of a second thought, and instead decided that taking off running would be the best course of action for anyone in their right mind. Of course, that may have been just been Rou's thought process, but either way, he decided on what he would do. When his running start had really gotten going, and he hit the end of the walkway, he demonstrated quite a bit of athleticism. With a jump, he shifted his body weight, and bent his knees, back flipping in midair before coming down belly first with a splash. When he hit the water, it was quite a bit warmer than he had originally expected it to be; apparently the pool was heated more so than just to keep it swimmable during the winter months. Either way, the warm feeling of the water against his now-slightly red chest and stomach was incredibly pleasant. Perhaps splashing hadn't been the best idea right there, but even so, it was still an incredibly fun jump that he hadn't been sure he would be able to pull off. He stayed submerged for a moment longer, his chocolate brown locks flowing in all directions before he kicked his feet, and rose almost instantly to the surface. He burst through the surface, and took a deep breath of water, shaking his head to release the droplets from his hair, and his eyes in a spray in all directions. "How big was the splash?" he asked with a grin over to Kai. |

As he was getting a little rest and relaxation, Mr. Kai didn't think anyone was going to actually bother him, most of the students were probably out doing something. But, there is always that one kid, that one annoying son of a b*tch you just wanna, wrap your hands around their throat and strangle the "God" given life out of them; But of course... *Splash* A decent size wave, overcame Shichiro's face. Which, of course made him open his eyes, and look around. In front of him, sorta? Was that annoying kid you just wanna strangle, luckily it wasn't Douken or Keith, or Shichiro might of done it. Even then, Rounin's not that annoying. If anything, Shichiro is probably the most annoying of the two, at times anyway. "It was about as big as your mother." Shichrio said jokingly, of course. Leaning his head back up against the poolside, he closed his eyes once more, but kept his mouth open to speak. "What're you doing here?" he asked. |

The boy kicked his feet in the water, floating just at the surface; he had spent a great many days in such environments. Swimming in whatever area there was for him to swim in. Whether it be a pool, a lake, the ocean, a river, or anywhere else that there happened to be available, he had always very greatly enjoyed swimming. His chin bobbed just above the water, his chin resting slightly in the warm, clear liquid. The scent of chlorine radiated from the water, and Rou drank in every bit of it with a content smile. He slid onto his back, and sprawled his body eagle so that he would float effortlessly. His brown hair was a mess behind him, floating in all directions in the water, and his clear, Sapphire blues were closed in relaxation. He took long, steady breaths as he listened to what it was Kai had to say. He shrugged with a yawn; truth be known, he didn't really know why he came here. He floated gently in the water, his thoughts swimming through his head in a gentle stream. What reason was there to really come here? Had he wanted to relax, and take a swim? Maybe that was it; Rou could only really guess himself. Hell, maybe he had had one of those premonition things, and had known that Kai was going to go swimming, and he had just decided maybe he would join him. Who really knew? "Well damn, and here I was hoping it would manage to be as big as yours. Welp, guess you can't win 'em all, right?" Rou said with a small chuckle as he drew his legs together, and pressed his arms toward his hips, and skated backward through the water. The clear blue water parted in waves around him as he slid gracefully through the water. His chocolate locks drifting along in tune with his movement. "And I'm here to chill baby boy, same as you. Question is, why'd you come here where there's usually a herd of brats splashing about?" he asked with a snide peel of laughter. Rou loved kids when it came right down to it, but at pools, they were all always screaming, crying, or being obnoxious. Parents never exercised control over the kids, and instead let the lifeguards be babysitters, from what Rou had seen. He had never particularly minded or anything, but it was still enough to draw his ire for pools when it came to relaxing. OOC: Lazy post is laaaaaaaaaaazy. |

Shichiro chuckled at the remark Rounin had made. With that, the 'Gentle Giant' brought his head back up, to find Rounin floating around(?), It looked like Shichiro wasn't going to have his rest and relaxation, today anyway. Ah well, friends are friend, am I right? Even if you don't want them around, they're usually two steps behind of ya'. "Well, I was taking a chance, really; I mean, I could of gone to the outside pool, and most likely froze my *** off, with the winds out there." letting off a little smirk, "And I guess karma is on my side today. No little kids or anything, here. Other than yourself, you're pretty close to a little kid, in the head anyways." Kai said, obviously joking. Edited by Shichiro Kai, Aug 13 2009, 04:12 PM.

"Tch, you felt the weather out there nigga? It's ****ing 70 or so out there even with the wind; means that odds are the water's still pretty warm," he said with a yawn as he floated passively through the waters. The ripples from his splash still slid through the water, guiding his path a bit more toward the walls as he floated. He was aimless in the water, and it felt good to just lay back; nothing to distract him. He winced a bit inwardly at that, but smiled and took it as the joke that it was clearly intended as. Rou had never been one to take shots at his maturity well, despite the fact that he acted quite immature, particularly when compared with his ever so serious business classmates. That was why he had never been shown favoritism, like his smart friends had been through his younger days; despite being as bright or brighter than they were, the teachers had always assumed that, due to the lack of initiative he showed, he would naturally be a failure. "Or, and this is just a thought Kai, but maybe, JUST maybe there are no kids here today because we rented out like, half of this hotel? I mean, it's just a thought, since there are still several floors, but I'd imagine that that little fact there might have something to do with it. Don't 'cha think, yo?" he asked with a chuckle and a roll of his eyes. He still had one comment left to reply to, and of course, he would need something witty to say back. He slid his legs under the water, and slid until he was essentially in a standing position in the water. He was floating in the deepest section of the pool now; his head just bobbing on the surface, along with the tops of his broad shoulders. He stopped kicking his feet so hard; sliding down into the water a bit deeper, until his chin rested in the water, and only from there up was visible any longer. He yawned, and decided on a response a moment later, after letting a few potentials run through his head. "Oh, oh it hurts! Kai, how could you say such a thing?" he asked with mock dramatic vocals. He fell back once again, not floating this time for more than a moment. He clutched at his chest as he sank, holding the area that was located directly over his heart. "You've killed me, Kai. If only your wit weren't so sharp, maybe it wouldn't have cut me so deeply..." He sank under the water, until he was completely submerged, where he rested in a state of floating suspension. The air was gone from his lungs, and thus, his floating qualities were essentially gone as well. He sank slowly, of course, but he remained hovering in the water. It was not an entirely unpleasant feeling; the weightless feeling that came with being surrounded by water, and the pleasant feeling of falling so slowly to the bottom; something he could get used to, really. |

Releasing a small laugh at Rounin's act; Shichiro himself watched at he sank to the bottom of the pool, still resting himself up against the wall, the 'Gentle Giant' turned his head to look at the TV in the corner of the pool room, which was sealed inside of a plastic-water-proof container. Most likely for little kids who love to ruin things. It was channel eleven news; An African American Citizen news reporter was on scene, at what seemed to be a drug bust of some sort. "Good evening, Silvershine. Our top story to night," he said as he turned to look at the building behind him, then back at the camera. "Is one of Silvershine's Wrong side of the highway drug bust, yet, and we can only thank two people." he turned to his left, as the camera followed. "We have here, the two people who made this happen. Johnny Awesome and a Pirate." the camera was now focused on only Davy and Johnny. "Why thank you, African American News Reporter Man." said Johnny, as he snatched the microphone out of the reporters hand. "It is true, Silvershine. Johnny Awesome and his new sidekick, have busted one of Silvershine's Wrong Side of the Highway's underground drug things... Even if they weren't underground, but that's beside the point!" Johnny did his pose, and handed the microphone to Davy. "First off; My name is Davy, Davy Jones! I've sailed the seven seas and then some!" before Davy could finish his usual intro, Johnny Awesome took the microphone back. They are indeed wasting air-time. |
