Primary Character Profile Real name: Black, Draco. New name: Drakow. Age: 18 Dorm: N/A Grade/Year: 1st Year student. Gender: Male Race: Australian. Height: 5’9 Weight: 68 Kilograms. Eye Color: Unknown. Hair Color: Black. Hair style: No particular style, just slightly spiked up. Skin colour: really light tanned colour. Diet: Consists of rice and curries mainly. Disliked foods: Haggis. Appearance:  Defining Characteristics: Wears a black, blindfold over his eyes. Has a scar in the shape of a ‘Chilli’ on his right arm. Bushy eyebrows, a small bump in the middle of his nose, cleanly shaved face, often seen walking with one hand behind his back, with the other slightly stretched out in front in an ‘open claw formation’ with his chin slightly raised. Physical Appearance: Has little muscles. Wears a pair of dark, leather gloves. His black trench coat finishes at his kneecaps, and the collar conceals most of his facial features from a side view. Within this coat there are a few concealed pockets for keeping the most important valuables close at hand, such as his dueling deck, wallet and mobile phone. This coat of darkness is not buttoned up, as he carries a katana (held in place by a black scabbard) by his side as well. His Duel Disk is in the shape of a Black Dragon, the top of the wingspan occupying the monster zones, whilst just beneath having inserts for spells and traps to be placed. The mouth of the dragon was split into two sections, the top for the deck and the bottom for the graveyard. These two compartments were separated by the tongue of the dragon. The dragon’s tail would be wrapped around the duelist’s arm and was what kept the Duel Disk in position. Known Relatives: Has a mother, and father along with an older brother. Also has various other cousins in other places around the world. Biography: Born into this world blind, life was never easy on young Draco. In his school years, he was always bullied for his lack of sight. He refused to go to a ‘special needs’ school, it was simply his nature; taking challenges head on no matter what the cost. However one day he took on an obstacle too strong for him to handle. He had gotten into a fight in an alley way with three of the toughest blokes at his secondary school. Escape was a void option. He got beaten to a bloody pulp. Days later he woke up in a hospital with his family by his side as always. After he left the hospital his father had a long talk with him, arranging for him to travel to the Outback and meet up with one of his father’s old friends. He was a master at Kendo and Karate. Draco had already been learning a bit of karate from the teachings of his father. After several days of thinking things over, Draco agreed and was on his way to meet up with his new Sensei. His new training was harsh, more fearsome than anything he had ever faced in his life thus far. Draco didn’t know at the time but would soon realize that his new Sensei would completely turn his life around. This Sensei also educated Draco in the fields of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. It was during this training that Draco was introduced to the game of ‘Duel Monsters’. It was apparently a game that his Sensei and father used to play back in the day. Within three years, Draco had become an exceptionally skilled fighter in the art of karate, had gained a proficiency at wielding a blade. His training had also given him the ability to move more confidently, without a guidance stick or a guide dog. He had sparred against his Sensei many times and he was soon able to fight like a natural. He had undergone training where he would simply have to walk from one end of a room to the other. The trick was that there were lots of pillars in the way. The first fifty times or something, Draco would only take a few steps before smacking his face into one of these wooden pillars. Eventually he learned how to judge distances with his mind alone. There would be times when he would be in a barn and his sensei would swing bags at him from the top of the barn. These bags would oscillate like pendulums and the idea was for Draco to avoid getting hit for as long as possible. Draco figured out how to use his ears to detect the almost soundless projectiles and soon mastered the art of evasion. He had also gained sufficient knowledge at his studies to be able to achieve at least B’s in his final A-Level exams that he would be taking in a few weeks time. These exams would be held in Melbourne where he was born. It would be arranged that he would travel back to meet his parents, a new man was born. Once he reached Melbourne and met up with his family, he began his last week of preparation for his exams. During this week he heard that there would be a ‘Duel Monsters’ tournament in the city and the two finalists would be able to travel to America to get a free year of tuition at the legendary Crimson Wind Academy. Draco knew he had to participate at this tournament; his Sensei had plenty of top decks which Draco had dueled against many times. Although he could not see the cards he had developed a strong bond with his deck, he explained to the Sensei that he could hear the cards speaking to him within his mind, and this was the key to identifying the cards that he played. The tournament was to take place one week after his exams. His parents had agreed for him to enter the tournament, and his older brother Zeek would come with him too. It was an amazing day! He had battled his way through many matches, fighting through many tough corners as well. Most of the duelists were pretty friendly to Draco as well and explained what their cards did. It was the final round and it was Draco Vs his older brother Zeek! No matter who won here, both brothers would be able to go to the Crimson Wind Academy. The duel was fierce, both boys giving it everything they had. Eventually Draco fell to his brother’s deck though, at the hands of Prime Material Dragon. One week later, Draco got his A-Level results back. He managed to score an A in Maths, B’s in Chemistry and Physics. His family was so proud and started arranging for Draco to go to university. Draco had other plans though; he wanted to go to the Crimson Wind Academy. This caused a huge debate between him and his parents. Eventually his father said. ‘You’re still young Draco. You will have plenty of time to go to university and get a Mathematics degree. Do as your heart tells you.’ Zeek had decided not to go to the Crimson Wind Academy as he was in the middle of getting his Physics degree. Draco prepared for his new journey, waiting for the time to show the world his full potential. Update 1 Draco has begun the year fairly decently. His deck has lost 50% of it's duels as to date, suffering at the hands of his roommate, Gouki Shinkou and the Professional Juke Draco Black's Fan Fiction. Spoiler: click to toggle This covers Draco's one week trip with Overlord Z. I have summarized some of the points above, but if you wish to look in more detail, go ahead. Update 2 Draco has possession of the Van'Dalgyon card now and this means there are some things I would like to straighten out with the staff. First off, his new abilities. Increased willpower: Drakow is able to withstand pain with greater ease now compared to before. Increased strength: I probably won't abuse this much in the actual role play unless the need arises. Edit: His maximum strength is a step below Nanayo Shingetsu. Increased flexibility: This allows Drakow to perform more agile stunts. Edit: Flexibility is similar to Nanayo Shingetsu but not quite on par with her. Basically he can do physical activities more easily than before. Hax teleportation will only be used to travel from the "normal" realm to the Dark Dimension. In this topic, Drakow forges himself a new sword. This sword is practically indestructible and offers great flexibility compared to other swords. Drakow will now be concealing his sword if he chooses to take it with him in public. Otherwise he will hang it up on a wall back in his room. I think that's everything. I won't begin role playing in the next day until both current members of staff have no objections to my terms. The increased strength / flexibility should probably be compared to something we know, rather than be left really ambiguous. On par with Nanayo, less, etc. |

You say it probably won't matter, but, ...what are your plans for this sword? "Spawning a new deck" ...If I'm understanding that correctly..., then... you can just build a new deck, y'know. @Statistician =/= 100%: But you at least hava a series of steps/plans in order to reach your desired outcome, right? I'd still like to hear what you actually plan on doing with all this. It'd suck if I allowed little things here and there, then when you reach the key part, it's denied, after all of that. So yeah, you "probably" won't do this or that, but what's the actual plan? Also, have you and Aoi worked out an idea on the legitimacy of the base, yet? (NOTE: Any details you write about your plot and the base, save it somewhere. When the details are all compiled, PM me the full story on it all so that we can approve or deny the important things before you reach any crucial points in your story.) Aside from that.... I personally don't mind the increased willpower part... depending on how much he can withstand, now.... The flexibility part, to a point, I also don't mind. The strength part I'm iffy on. I don't mind him being strong, but now I need a refresher: how strong is Nanayo, actually, guys? '_'...? (Or was it really her agility that makes one think so. Anyone know? Was she, like, semi-muscular man strong; Edge strong; Randy Orton strong; Batman strong; Triple H strong; John Cena strong, Wolverine strong; Big Show strong; Mark Henry strong, The Hulk strong; Goku strong?) |

@ Sword: Well that's why I said it probably wouldn't matter. I don't currently have any big plans for his sword. He'll need it if I plan on having him rematch some monsters in the dark dimension but otherwise, I don't think I'll be using it. It's more of a symbol of power if anything else. @ deck spawning: I had to try ¬_¬ Yeah he can build it but I wanted him to aquire his other weapon of destruction (new deck) through supernatural means too. It's not a big deal though. Increased physical abilities: Draco is planning his revenge on Overlord Z, so he'll probably let loose on a horde of Z's African-American henchmen. Aoi and I haven't resolved the formation of the secret base just yet. Hmm as for Nanayo's strength, I guess the best person to gauge her strength would be the one who manipulates her actions. Couldn't the sword, then, only exist in that other dimension? [thought] ...And if it had to exist in this world, have it take some other lone form, maybe something small, so as not to bring attention to it in the real world? .... ...! [Had forgotten to mention the first time that I wasn't too fond of the teleportation thing.... .... ...But if it was only for Draco/Drakow to go to that other dimension.... Draco did have his old katana with him on the island beforehand and he carried it around with him. So basically I just replaced his old blade with a new, stronger one. I explained in my first role play post I believe the legal documentations that he has, which permits him to carry his sword in public. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXP20bcdg3Q Above is a video of Nightmare's power.
