Getting off of the #16 bus, Rina found herself right in front of Zenkai Hospital, where Aoi, who was also known as Emily, was admitted. Taking a deep breath, she approached and entered the building, all the while wondering if Rose, or anyone else, would already be there. After talking to the receptionist, the redhead made her way to Aoi's hospital room and knocked on the open door, "Hello-hello~..." waiting for a response before entering the room. |

"Please come in." It was the voice of Dr. Swan, the doctor seemingly in charge of Aoi's treatment. Rina had met him a few times before, most notably on the night of the accident. He had been kind enough then to give Rina and Kai an update on Aoi's condition. The brown haired doctor was standing beside Aoi's bed, focused intently on his patient. Only the woman seated near the window looked toward the newest arrival. "Hello, Rina." Miss Kim folded her hands in her lap and smiled. "I bet you're excited to see Aoi finally leave the hospital." "I'll say it again, as a doctor, I'd prefer that she stayed another three or four days, but no one ever listens to me." "There's no way I'm staying any longer, doctor," Aoi said, smiling weakly. |

Rina took her time entering the room, as the doctor was busy with Aoi. "Hey Aoi, Doctor Swan," she said quietly, for some reason - loud enough to be heard, but just faint enough to tell she was trying to keep it down for their sakes. ...Just then, from the door, she took note of motion off to the side by the window. The Ra girl turned to see 'professor and supervisor' Ms. Kim greeting her. Rina responded with a greeting, first, still acting as though she was in a library. "Ah. Miss Kim, too. Hi!" Her answer then followed as she approached the older female, putting down her bag o' stuff on an empty chair by the wall of the door. For the moment, Rina figured she'd leave the doc and Aoi to their own devices, so-to-speak. "Yeah. At first, I was kinda worried 'cause I thought she'd be here a lot longer, and the trip's only a week long, too. ...I'm glad she really has recovered enough to leave: ...heheh, finding a job to pay our way back to the academy would've been hard work," she joked lightly before growing accustomed to her surroundings. "So how've you been? ...And what are those two doing, exactly?" Her visual attention shifted to Dr. Swan and Aoi. |

"I've been well, considering." Miss Kim followed Rina's eyes over to the others. "He's just doing one final examination before we move her out of here." She paused for a moment. "Rina... do you mind if we stepped outside for a moment? It would probably help the doctor work." |

"! Mm. Sure." Rina allowed Ms. Kim to stand before following behind her. "I'm just stepping outside for a bit," the redhead said quietly to the occupied duo as she drew closer to the door. She didn't want them to wonder too much about where they went off to. Stepping out the door, Rina thought it would be a good idea to close the door, so she did, ever so gently, avoiding the potential click and bang of the door being closed securely. She then turned to follow Miss Kim. |

Miss Kim led the way back out into the waiting room, where she took a seat in the corner. She waited for Rina to take a seat before she began. "Rina, even after they release Aoi, she'll still need some help moving around. Some basic actions might be difficult for her." She looked into Rina's eyes, very serious. "You're her friend - so I was wondering if you wanted to do that for her. If you don't want to, I understand. I'll put Ami on it, no questions asked." |

Seated, Rina listened closely to what Miss Kim had to say.... "...." Rina took a moment to understand her. With what Rina found out about Aoi's injuries, she realized that Aoi would still, indeed, need assistance for things. ...Then the redhead thought deeper into that notion.... .... She realized that... during the time Aoi was in the hospital, the firefly was never around when Aoi did need assistance with some of the more basic tasks. Coming back to the hotel, and later the academy, there would be no medical staff around to help her out. A look of seriousness came over her being as she thought about that. Once at the academy, she would be the only one that Aoi would know at this point, with her academy memories gone. "...." Rina closed her eyes: she didn't want Aoi to have to deal with strangers all over again, especially when all of this was the fault of the firefly. If not for feeling responsible, Rina would be there out of friendship. "...." Opening her eyes, once more, Rina nodded to herself before facing the professor. "No. I'll do it. ...I want to be the one who's there for her. ...Being around people you don't know..., having to rely on them...: I just think that Aoi wouldn't be happy with that. ...Especially when one of her friends is right here. .... .... ...." Rina appeared to be deep in thought.... Something came to mind. "! ...Yeah, that's right: Aoi's an Obelisk Blue student; I'm a Ra Yellow. ...The distance between the dorms is fairly big.... .... ...! Oh, but Billie's th-- .... .... Nnn~, that'll be bad. ...." The orange-haired teen cupped her chin for a long 'moment....' .... Unsure of what will work, ".... ...." Rina glanced at Professor Kim. "Miss Kim? ...Would you allow me to take the Advancement Exam when we get back to the academy?" Though she was overlooking something fairly obvious. |

Miss Kim smiled. "We'll see... But I'm don't think you should be worried about that. The rest of the staff, I'm sure, would understand the circumstances regarding Aoi's condition, and make the proper arrangements for you." The teacher then turned her attention to the front door of the building as Rosaline burst into the room. Rose was put her hands on her knees, breathing heavily and taking in the cool air-conditioning in the room. Rose looked up to the two other visitors. "... Hey... Rina... I'm not... too late... am I?" She raised one hand and tried to wave. |

"You mean--! A--...?" Rina changed her focus to the exhausted girl who just exploded into the waiting room. "Rose...!" Hearing the pink-haired girl's question, "N-nn," she shook her head. "Aoi's still here." Rina pointed to, and looked at, the other door. "Doc Swan's checking up on her, right now." |
