Rated R - Parental Discretion is Advised
He spoke to her, and her crimson irises flashed with a confused look. If the truth had been known, the girl didn't really know why she ate like she did; it was just habit that she eat in such a manner at this point. She slid her finger down the plastic, until it met with the slope of the fork, just before the prongs extended.

"Well.... I guess I was just brought up with manners! I was raised in a monastery, after all. Unlike some of us, I had to learn manners from a young age! Anyway, what was your childhood like, Alistair? I'd imagine there were no real lessons on etiquette," she said playfully.

With a flick of her wrist, she speared a piece of the bread, and brought her knife down. She slid the knife across the bread, mulling over the question until the bread had finally been cut all the way through. She shrugged, and brought the piece of bread up to her mouth before popping it in. Her lips closed around the end of the fork, and slid the fork from her mouth, leaving the delectable morsel of grain, cheese, and herbs resting in her mouth.

She chewed thoughtfully, and allowed the flavors to wash over her tongue happily. Her crimson irises flickered up from her meal as she continued to slowly chew the bite. She adjusted her perfectly formed tush in the seat, sliding into a more upright, perfect posture position. She wasn't quite sure he had really spoken of his childhood yet, and learning about him might be nice!

"Well, you and I do have something in common, we were both abandoned at a young age." He spoke in a bit of a troubled voice, but attempted not to dwell much on it. Cupping the turkey, ham, and bacon meal before him, he took a bite of the footlong sub, as though it were a sign to change the subject.

"While I may have been a rude little son of a *****, I'm sure I didn't exactly grow up in an unstructured environment. I grew up as a mixed martial arts fighter, and we had our own set of rules there. I may not know the proper way to hold a knife or how to tie a tie, but I know how to break a guy's arm in one solid movement." A satisfied smirk as the pungent taste of oil, vinegar, and mayo entered his mouth with another bite.

"And what about you Billy?" He looked his tiny friend over, eyes scanning all over the Obelisk's body. "Can you fight?" A joking smile, as if daring the youth to try something.

A lack of muscles, a tiny frame, and no facial hair on the boy could only confirm his suspicions. "I doubt it. I don't even think you've gone through puberty." he joked with a quick laugh, not realizing this could also be seen as a (non-literal) stab at her flat chest.
