~/Character Profile\~   Name: Ikari, Kira (Last name first regardless). Age: 14. Dorm: Oblelisk Blue. Grade: 1st/Freshman Gender: Female Race: Japanese Height: 159cm Weight: 45kg Eye Color: Dark Red Hair Color: Bright Blonde Personality: Kira has a very complicated personality up to the point where she might be considered to have already lost judgement and descended into a fake and exotic reality. The girl strongly believes she is the reincarnation of the dark goddess Tiamat, and that in the future, her soul would eventually be offered to her (They are the same being, but at the same time, 2 different entities). Being a premier member of a dark pagan cult, Kira possesses many strange habits such as uttering prayers (Before dueling and such), drawing seals with blood, and preaching about her religion amongst other things. Her life is guided entirely by her religious beliefs and objectives, and as such she shows complete devotion into completing her mission and thus is a very selfless person in a way. Kira is also quite fond of cute objects and animals, as well as situations and events she might consider cute as well, though her judgment is quite corrupted in that category. Despite being forced to uphold uncommon principles, her social life is actually quite competent. She is not one to force her beliefs unto others, she also never shuns other's for discarding her ideals.; however, she is quite fond of making dire enemies of whoever dares to mock that which she believes in. On the other hand, people who share similar "preferences" with her tend to be easily accepted into her inner social circle that she defines as her "Family", and thus will treat them just like brothers as they seem to be "Children of Darkness" like she is. Having been raised in a very different manner, her views on society tend to differ greatly from the standard: She is not fond of private property and tends to treat her friend's possession as something communal and use them freely. Kira also does not believe in lies and secrets and will always express herself honestly, making shame and fear completely non-existent for herself and showing large dismay upon those that practice said inappropriate habits. Overall, she is too distinct to explain fully here, but I hope I managed to give a good overview of her personality. Defining Characteristics: Possesses a birthmark(that of her shadow lineage) somewhere in the upper part of her chest that is usually covered by whatever piece of clothing she's wearing. She also bears the signature tattoo of her cult somewhere on her upper part of her right leg. (Small text in ancient language) Physical Appearance: Kira has a pale and extremely smooth skin that allows the colors of her hair and eyes to contrast and demand attention of the common eye. Her hair is extremely long and golden in color, usually arranged into twin tails with the use of black colored ribbons, although she may sometimes allow it to flow loose across her back. Her eyes are crimson red in color and quite dark, making them actually appear black from a distance but a very defined and beautiful red from up close. Her body is overall quite petite and lacking any significant development for a teenager, giving her the appearance of a child, yet she is surrounded in a pleasant aura of elegance due to her perpetually elegant movements and body mannerisms. As far as clothing goes, Kira has no preferences whatsoever, barring the presence of the llamative ribbons she often wears. The girl will virtually wear anything she is offered or asked to, which has allowed her to show a wide arrange of looks and styles. Most of the time, however, she should be wearing the uniform of her CWA dormitory, Obelisk blue. However, it is important to know that Kira shows great interest in maintaining the most perfect body as possible as to honor Tiamat that shares it with her, and who would eventually become to owner. As such, Kira does her best to avoid situations that could permanently scar her, obviously she also takes great interest in health habits. Known Relatives: Ikari Saitou (Father, 35), she considers many other unrelated people to be relatives however. Biography Born in Japan, under the grand pagan cult of "The Eternals", which believe that all of the deity's in history have been the same, and only been granted different names and images; giving the ancient Asirian ones great advantage as being the originals. Kira was born on their most holy day, and on a renown prophetic year while bearing a special birthmark which made her immediately renown as the reincarnation of chaos, Tiamat, and thus obtaining high status amongst this cult and even giving her father the position of the absolute holy leader until Kira herself would be ready to assume the position (Once Tiamat and Kira became one). Kira's mother, however, was not part of this group and had married her father without proper knowledge about it; habits she would usually bear with as they were rather harmless. However, that woman was completely against her daughter taking part of those ghastly rituals. By the time Kira was about 5 years old, her mother finally decided it was unbearable and decided to separate from her husband and take the girl away from that life. Her father, Saito, knowing he could not allow such thing to happen, decided to kill his wife; which he did without any hesitation or remorse, finally ending the only obstacle for the girl’s growth. Kira obviously noticed she was gone but was told by her father that her mother had been used as some kind of sacrifice. The young Kira, being naive as she was, obviously believed the lie and knowing that sacrifice of the body was a very prestigious death, took it entirely fine and did not shed a single tear at the loss. The rest of her life went quite well: Her father had a prestigious position and a good job, and she was treated with a lot of respect and allowed access to a lot of knowledge. The loss of her mother made Kira take up several roles in the maintenance of the household and thus learned many skills such as cooking and decorating. Amongst other things she became proficient in her youth there was Flower arrangement, Alchemy (Mainly the creation of different potions and poisons), the Duel Monster card game and mastery of several languages. Her life in school lacked any significant events besides several complaints on the girl drawing many things in blood and representing several ominous things; but it was nothing that severely affected her education and she managed to finish middle school successfully despite her arrogant mannerisms. By the time she had finished middle school, the moment to begin her mission had come. In order for Kira to finally merge with the Tiamat within her, she had to obtain the blood of over 100 different young souls that were both strong and pure (Virgin) which were needed for the ritual (It was important that she obtained said blood on her own). It was going to be a very hard task to do this in a regular high school (low quality souls), so she decided to try one of the Duel Academies, taking advantage also of her enjoyment of the card game. So it was soon agreed by the cult that she should enroll in Duel Academy... Though her career choices were clearly not very related to their study plans. Thanks for clarifying that last bit. I was starting to wonder by the end of the profile. One small question... about Tiamat-- according to The Eternals, Tiamat would be an incarnation of the one universal deity, correct? I'm not entirely sure how Tiamat would be distinct. Hm... I'm not even sure how to phrase my question properly. Hopefully how know what I'm getting at, though. Could you please explain it to me just a little more? Edit: Cleared up on chat.
