(OOC1: Err... she's actually not... too short when compared to the other males. A few of the ones who do tower over her are about 3 or 4 years older then her. 0_0) "They're contacts." she replied earnestly, still smiling faintly. A brief pause as though she attempted a mind read, and possibly failed at it. "I know it makes me look quite a bit like an albino, but I think they look really nice." A more pleasing smile, as though she were fishing for a compliment, but perhaps not as she attempted to change the subject back over to food. "As for food..." she looked around the stale hotel quarters. "I'm getting kind of sick of this place, and I haven't really explored the city too much, so pretty much anywhere that isn't here is alright with me." She looked over her PDA, a small map and only one mark on it, where she and Dante had been the day before. "I'm not sure how much of the city you've explored, but it's probably a lot less then I have. You can lead the way." She put her collapsible umbrella in a more upright position, as she prepared to enter the storm. (OOC2: Hmm... I seem to type considerably less when I'm on my main computer then when I'm on my laptop. Must look into matters further.) |

Alistair nodded with a grin as Billy answered his question in regards to his comment. Alistair hadn't been sure that they were contacts, since they looked so natural on Billy, but he supposed it made the most sense. After all, what were the odds of someone really having red eyes? Perhaps a brown mistakable for red, but this was different than that. "Alright Billy, I just couldn't tell. They looked really natural on you, and it just kinda surprised me. Thanks for clearing that up for me!" he said as he flashed him a smile, his bright white teeth shining in the lights hanging above. He glanced down at h is bag, and remembered that he had no umbrella. He had a number of other things in the bag, but an umbrella most certainly wasn't among those things. He chewed at the inside of his cheek, trying to decide where they would go. His tongue slid listlessly across the smooth texture of the inside of his cheek that fit between his clenched teeth. His brow furrowed, his lips turned down into a small frown, and his eyes focused on the ground as he tried to recall the exact location of each of the places he had seen during the bus ride through the city. His eyes lifted up as he saw Billie fumbling with something, and Alistair recalled his PDA! He had completely forgotten about the little gearbox that he kept in his pocket. He pushed his hand into the linen pockets of his denim blue jeans, his fingers digging around in the pocket until they found the corner of the hard plastic box. He closed his fore and middle finger around the corner of the box, and pulled it out of his pocket. "Well, why don't we head over to the food court? It'll give us the most variety, and there'll be fewer distractions, right?" he asked tilting his head to the side with a playful grin. "After all, we don't wanna get to the cafe, and find out that you're gonna have a stare down with the coffee machine." |

(OOC: Conclusion - It just looks like less because the screen is larger then the laptops.) "Hmm..." she looked at her PDA inquisitively. "Well, as long as it's not an outdoor food court..." As though highlighting her sentiment, a loud bolt of lightning rang out, once again. "... I guess it'll be alright." And so, I assume... the pair headed over to the food court to do... food court stuff. [To: ... The Supreme Court!? =D] |
