Takuya walked onto the sandy beach. The nice warm sun enveloped him and made him feel warm and great. He took out his Rainbow Neos, to re-read the effect one more time.

"That's some powerful moves, Neos..." Takuya said, in a silent breath. Neos appeared by his side, nodding.

"The conditions are troublesome, but should you ever need my help, I will be with you." Neos assured.

"Neos, you sound like something bad's about to happen." Takuya said, smiling. Neos said nothing. He looked at the sky again. And then to the Academy.

"This is relatively odd..." Neos thought. "How could this be...?"

"Neos..." Takuya said, looked a bit shocked. "Is there...Uh...Something that's bothering you?" Takuya asked.

After a second, Neos's mind came back.
"I'm fine, Takuya. But you should focus on your deck again." Neos persisted.

Takuya looked at Neos suspiciously.
"Neos...What's going on?" he asked.

Neos looked at Takuya. A blank expression on his face.
"Everything is fine, Takuya." Neos said. But deep down, it wasn't true.
"What is this taint of Darkness I feel? And why can I feel some of it in Takuya...?" Neos thought to himself. During his thoughts, he disappeared, and left Takuya alone.

"Man, Neos really needs to be normal again. Whatever 'normal' is for a Duel Spirit anyways." Takuya said, laughing to himself. He took a seat on a beach chair nearby and started to inhale and exhale. Time to rest a bit.

The long haired duelist slowly walked a distance along the beach, while also sneaking peaks at the meticulous rhythm of the passing waves.

She had seemingly lost herself in thoughts. She had decided to shrug off the dreams, and do her best to avoid thinking about the disappearance of her roomate. Surely the campus police was much more better equipped in dealing with such a thing then a 14 year old German girl.

As she continued along the sand, she noticed an unfamiliar face sitting on a chair. Something about the boy seemed different. Though she couldn't exactly put her finger on it, the Dragon Lord duel spirit that was lurking inside her could probably see the boy's duel spirit a mile away.

She walked towards the boy, smiling, ready to introduce herself.

Takuya had heard footsteps. As he turned around, he saw the figure of a snow haired Ra Yellow girl come closer. Takuya picked himself up out of the chair, and began to introduce himself.

"Hey there. I'm Takuya Kuchiki. I'm a new student." Takuya said breifly. That's really all there was to say, wasn't it?

(OOC: How do you hear foot steps on the beach!? 0_o)

"Oh, pleased to meet you." she extend the edges of her skirt, curtsying. "My name is Billie M. Hatcher." she flashed him... a smile. Looking at the jacket on the boy, she noted he was of the Osiris Rank.

"So, what brings you to the beach anyway?" she put her arms behind her and bent over slightly, so that her and the boy who was sitting down could be at a more appropriate eye level.

((If you've never heard the sound of sand brushing by feet while you're walking on the beach, go to a beach.))

Takuya looked at the girl. She had eyed his red blazer, probably realizing that he was a rank under her. But ranks didn't really matter. It just means that one is more booksmart than the other, since only dueling was the real way to rank the students.

She had asked him a question. It wouldn't be nice to ignore it.
"Well, I just needed a break...Even though it's only my first day..." Takuya said, shrugging. That was actually a good question.

Nodding at his response, she put her finger under her chin as though the boy had caused an epiphany in her. "A break. I sure could use one of those." she smiled, remembering how she had a bit of a long day yesterday.

Upon speaking, she remembered she had not finished... or really started her application for a job at the campus. She then remembered the homework Headmaster Zaramato assigned. The girl definitely needed a break, however this probably wouldn't be the best time to think of such things.

Too cute to lose!
Miss Sakaki had allowed herself to wander after her duel with Demitri, the roar of the waves alluring her to the white-sanded beaches, and she was glad she had let herself be drawn in. The sun shone brightly on the water, casting a beautiful reflection that Sakaki sighed at. This could be such a romantic scene... if only mister Kratos was here... She scanned the shoreline, spottign two people in the distance. Looking more closely as her natural curiosity guided her too them, she saw they were Miss Billie and.. somebody. A BOY! Maybe Sakaki wasn't the only one with hopelessly romantic thoughts.

"Hi, miss Billie," she said excitedly, waving and smiling, not really realizing that if this were some kind of romantic moment, it would be spoiled. "How are you feeling? You're not still down about that loss are you?"

Billie looked at the little girl, a confused look extending on her face. The girl made mention of her loss against Kratos. Huh? Had the little girl been there? Billie was so distraught after losing, and so focused while dueling, it seemed she had not noticed the girl in the pink dress.

"Oh... uh... hello..." she curtsied while struggling to recall the little girl's name, before realizing that they had not been properly introduced. She let the words hang in the air, not wanting to admit that she did not know the girl's name despite the fact that the girl had known hers. She then decided to answer the girl's question.

"Yeah, I'm not upset about the duel anymore." she smiled. She was much too stressed to be sad.

"Oh, silly me, you don't know me do you?" Sakaki extended a hand. "When miss Rina was cheering for you, I heard your name, and I cheered too. I'm Sakaki Ahi!" Beaming brightly at the friend who had only just learned her name, Sakaki giggled a bit. "I've never seen you before" she said, as her hand was shook, referrign to the red. "You just heard my name, what's yours, Mister?"

Takuya looked at the girl who had just entered the scene. She struck up a conversation with the snow-haired girl, and said that her name was "Sakaki Ahi". Takuya took note of that, as the girl asked for his name...

She had called him "Mister".

"Uh.." Takuya started. "I'm Takuya Kuchiki. I'm new." he said, a little shocked to be called "Mister".
"You could just call me 'Takuya'." Takuya told Sakaki. "I'm not that old to be called Mister!" he said, with a little laugh.
